On my company email, I cannot send emails to others in the company. This is new..it worked before. I get a message that says the server does not allow relaying. What does this mean?

I am trying to set up my corporate exchange email in my Z3, but i get a message of "you do not have permission to sync with this server....". I have no problems setting up exchange email in my Samsung or Ipad using the same credentials.
My Z3 has android version is 4.4.4.
I just bought a used Verizon Galaxy S5.Im using it on T Mobile. I have a personal and work email accts.I was able to setup my personal email but My work email just keeps saying cannot connect to server.I had them both setup on my old phone and I setup all my employees work emails with no problems..

Then I tried using hotmail and it worked fine (but my hotmail is full of spam so I want to get my Yahoomail to work). It said that I have the username or password wrong. I was using the blackberry service for several years with ISP Cormote in Greece and a Bold 9700 device.At some point I decided to switch to another ISP and from the moment I switched to Wind I could setup the gmail/yahoo accounts but not the business account of mine (the one that I used to work with previous ISP for so many years).I was constantly getting the "An error occured during email account validation. Please check your information and try again." error.The ISP spent at least 15 days trying to resolve it, but to no success.At that moment I decided to switch back to the same ISP that I had just a few days before and that used to work without problems.

She works for the local school system and drives between different schools several times a day to treat disabled children. Parents sometimes email her to tell her that their kid is not going to be at a specific school at a a certain time and she ends up driving to a specific place for nothing because she couldn't access her messages. So I bought her a Bold last week tro help her with this problem.At a regular computer, she first has to log to the school's system website, then click on their link to gmail, enter an user name and finally a password. It takes me to the screen with the email options about push notifications and what not. I finish those settings and it takes me to my inbox. But nothing happens. Occasionally if I add it, it will say loading... with the spinning circle, but never loads. I have let it sit for hours, and it never syncs.
Now let me tell you what I have tried:
I have tried on 4G and on wireless
Adding from Accounts in Settings
Adding from the email app
Auto Sync data is on
Restrict Background Data is off
Once or twice it came up with the certificate issue and I noticed that the certificate was connected to a different website.
I have a gmail account, and msn account and a Verizon account. they are all connected and work fine all the time.
If I use an app called Cloud Magic it works, but that doesn't sync my calendar and contacts.
I think that is it. The phone is a Galaxy S5, 16GB / Verizon / Andriod 4.4.4 / Factory, not hacked or changed in anyway.
I just got my blackberry and when I go to add an email account it only has the corporate option.

I've Googled this topic a bit, and everyone keeps saying you can turn the data connection off, but I still want internet access for Facebook, Google Maps, etc. Turning the data connection off would basically be like shutting off my internet at home, when all I have to do is close Outlook on my company laptop and not open it again until I want to receive email. I had two email icons on my home page - one for corporate and the other for gmail. The emails were kept separate. After I installed the Gmail Enhanced App, my gmail started to sync into my corporate acct. I uninstalled botgh the enhanced app and the gmail account. When I went to reinstall gmail from the BB device, it resumed syncing into the corporate account.How can I keep these two accts separate?

Trying to set up corporate email sync. It sets up fine and pulls down my calendar, but won't get the email. When I try to view the email, I get a "connection error" message. It says it can't sync with the exchange server.
Tech support on the phone was useless - told me to go t the store and try it on another phone. really? The automated voice repsonse system said to download the instructions for getting the right exchange server settings to give to IT. I went tot he website and when I clicked on the link tot he file, it said - "sorry - that answer is not available"

I have discovered that the list of email messages in the corporate email widget stops updating shortly after a reboot. It continues to display a static list of messages. If I tap the widget to open email, I find many new, more recent, messages in my inbox.

I tried to do the same via GMail and had no issues. If I receive a corporate email with an attachment, I can forward that without any issues. The problem is when I add an attachment to an email. I also tried using Touchdown which had the same issue.
I have tried the following:
checked exchange / activesync settings to verify no restrictions reformatted the sd card, even though attachments were not on there. couple of reboots removing and re-adding the corporate account

The coporate email is one of the main functions that I use my phone for, so its very important that it works correctly. I have tried it off WIFI and on WIFI with the same issues. It just periodically loses connection with the server and gives error message that says "Couldn't find connection to server". Like I said, this may last for only couple of hours or most of the day and then it just starts working again.

View 2 Replies View RelatedAfter upgrading to 2.3.4 my battery is drained from 100% to about 5% in about 3 hours. I noticed that data is constantly being sent and received. It seems if I change my emaill devlivery option on corporate sync email accounts from push to a periodic time, things gets much better. If I delete all but 1 coorporate sync email account battery life also returns to something tolerable. I am not receiving a lot of emails (less than 20 emails messages during the time). It seems as though multiple corporate sync emails accounts was broken in Gingerbread in a way that push email is not practical as battery is consumed and data is rate is too high. Without receiving any email had exchanged a few MB of data in less than an hour. Having single corporate sync account alleviate the data load and extended the battery life back to normal.

View 10 Replies View RelatedI have a single corporate email account setup (Settings/Accounts), the account syncs correctly when on 4G/3G. It also syncs correctly on Wi-Fi as long as I force the phone to stay awake (scroll on the screen/push a button every so often to keep the phone awake). However when using Wi-Fi and I hit the power button shutting the screen off putting the phone to sleep, it causes my corporate sync account to throw a "Connection Error" icon (orange triangle with exclamation point in the middle) at the top of the screen. Why do I think it is a sleeping/Wi-Fi issue? Because if on Wi-Fi and I hit the power button and wait a few seconds and hit it again turning the screen on the CE icon is there. If I force the screen to stay on (method above) I never get the error. If I switch my Razr to use 4G/3G and try the same power button on/off test method, I never get the error.
I have confirmed in my Wi-Fi settings Wi-Fi Sleep policy is set to Never and I do not have any Smart Actions turning Wi-Fi off. This seemed to have happened after the .173 update. I have also forced my phone to connect to another Access Point in my house to try and isolate this issue to an AP problem but my Razr exhibits the same behavior. Also confirmed in My Accounts|Corporate Sync|Server Settings "Verify Server" that I get "Success!" in the Verification Result Window.
