The coporate email is one of the main functions that I use my phone for, so its very important that it works correctly. I have tried it off WIFI and on WIFI with the same issues. It just periodically loses connection with the server and gives error message that says "Couldn't find connection to server". Like I said, this may last for only couple of hours or most of the day and then it just starts working again.
View 1 Replies View RelatedMy corporate account (Exchange/Activesync server) hasn't synced since the update was installed Saturday, June 30th. It was syncing fine pre-ICS, however, post-ICS nothing. The screenshot reflects the message I receive when attempting to set up the account on the phone.
In troubleshooting, I have tried removing the account (only initially following the upgrade, account will not complete set up since) and adding it again.
Also, all other email accounts (gmail, earthlink, hotmail, yahoo) are connecting fine, only having problems with the Corporate account. Additionally, I need this to work more for the calendar sync than the email, especially since I separate my work/personal calendars via this account, Google, and personal version of Outlook.
when I got update I had to do hard reset due to phone acting up. Now I can't set up my corporate email. Advises it failed to load. So you have to set it up before update and hope you never have to do a hard reset. Also noticed I have more data drop outs and data is very slow.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI have a single corporate email account setup (Settings/Accounts), the account syncs correctly when on 4G/3G. It also syncs correctly on Wi-Fi as long as I force the phone to stay awake (scroll on the screen/push a button every so often to keep the phone awake). However when using Wi-Fi and I hit the power button shutting the screen off putting the phone to sleep, it causes my corporate sync account to throw a "Connection Error" icon (orange triangle with exclamation point in the middle) at the top of the screen. Why do I think it is a sleeping/Wi-Fi issue? Because if on Wi-Fi and I hit the power button and wait a few seconds and hit it again turning the screen on the CE icon is there. If I force the screen to stay on (method above) I never get the error. If I switch my Razr to use 4G/3G and try the same power button on/off test method, I never get the error.
I have confirmed in my Wi-Fi settings Wi-Fi Sleep policy is set to Never and I do not have any Smart Actions turning Wi-Fi off. This seemed to have happened after the .173 update. I have also forced my phone to connect to another Access Point in my house to try and isolate this issue to an AP problem but my Razr exhibits the same behavior. Also confirmed in My Accounts|Corporate Sync|Server Settings "Verify Server" that I get "Success!" in the Verification Result Window.

Well the last week or so I have noticed that my email account is not syncing with my Razr Maxx HD - It is an outlook account - it also does the same thing with my Yahoo account as well I tried looking in settings for sync frequency but there is not option to set - I know on previouse phones there has been option for it but not this one.. Other than deleting the account and re-doing it or restoring the phone, because those two dont work.
View 4 Replies View RelatedI placed a new event on my phone this afternoon and when I got back to my office I noticed it wasn't on my desktop calendar. I couldn't understand why it didn't sync. I went the phone and saw that the calendar was "phone" calendar not the corporate calendar. There was no way to edit the phone calendar on the page to choose which calendar to place the new event, like I could on my OG Droid.
View 2 Replies View RelatedMy phone doesn't consistently sync, even though I have push email enabled. Happens when I'm both connected to wifi and on 4G/3G. When it's not syncing, mail doesn't even sync when I open the app; I have to manually do it. Completely unacceptable, never had this problem on any other smartphone I've owned (which have all been HTCs). Maybe this is helpful, but the gmail widget and the email widget also do not consistently sync on my device. Maybe there's a trend here that points to a larger problem or solution. But I' m not worried about the widgets; I just want to be able to get my email onto my device, which should be happening with no issues.

When I enter a new appointment in Outlook it syncs to the phone immediately, but when I enter a new appointment on the phone, it is not syncing back to Outlook. Why? When I go into Calendar Settings -> Merge Calendars, it says both my gmail calendar and Outlook calendar are "synced and visible". Under phone calendar it says "not synced, visible", and I cannot change it to "synced". Why? How to change it?

In setting it up I realized that as soon as my corporate email syncs with the device the SD card and the WiFi settings are disabled permenantly. Is there anyway I can get around this? Or is there something our IT department has to do differently to support this phone? I did not have this problem with my origninal droid.

Corporate sync (encryption) disables 1080p video recording. ALL HD video. I started to setup my Zimbra activesync connection using the Moto Corporate Sync and get an informational message. The choice is OK only, and the only way to get 1080p video recording is to Factory Reset.

View 8 Replies View RelatedTrying to set up corporate email sync. It sets up fine and pulls down my calendar, but won't get the email. When I try to view the email, I get a "connection error" message. It says it can't sync with the exchange server.
Tech support on the phone was useless - told me to go t the store and try it on another phone. really? The automated voice repsonse system said to download the instructions for getting the right exchange server settings to give to IT. I went tot he website and when I clicked on the link tot he file, it said - "sorry - that answer is not available"
I've been dealing with this fall morning, and am really frustrated - just needed to vent. If I can't get this worked out in short order I'm going to return the phone, and go back to the old "dumb phone"
I set up the corporate email app when I first got my droid turbo 4 weeks ago. I used the same settings that I did with my RAZR MAXX HD. initially replies were sent correctly but after about a week they became jammed up in the Outbox. I had to delete the account and started again but this time it only worked for 2 days.

View 5 Replies View RelatedI am unable to send an email with a new attachment via my corporate email. It does not matter if the attachment is 50kb or 1mb. I tried to do the same via GMail and had no issues. If I receive a corporate email with an attachment, I can forward that without any issues. The problem is when I add an attachment to an email. I also tried using Touchdown which had the same issue.
I have tried the following:
checked exchange / activesync settings to verify no restrictions reformatted the sd card, even though attachments were not on there. couple of reboots removing and re-adding the corporate account
I have set up my corporate account correctly, but no emails are coming through to my phone.
View 2 Replies View RelatedWhen I add my corporate account to the email app, it accepts my login information as well as the domain and server information. It takes me to the screen with the email options about push notifications and what not. I finish those settings and it takes me to my inbox. But nothing happens. Occasionally if I add it, it will say loading... with the spinning circle, but never loads. I have let it sit for hours, and it never syncs.

I have tried on 4G and on wireless
Adding from Accounts in Settings
Adding from the email app
Auto Sync data is on
Restrict Background Data is off
Once or twice it came up with the certificate issue and I noticed that the certificate was connected to a different website.
I have a gmail account, and msn account and a Verizon account. they are all connected and work fine all the time.
If I use an app called Cloud Magic it works, but that doesn't sync my calendar and contacts.
I think that is it. The phone is a Galaxy S5, 16GB / Verizon / Andriod 4.4.4 / Factory, not hacked or changed in anyway.
I have a BB Bold 9000. ATT is my service provide.I successfully set up my gmail account as a separate email account on my BB. I had two email icons on my home page - one for corporate and the other for gmail. The emails were kept separate. After I installed the Gmail Enhanced App, my gmail started to sync into my corporate acct. I uninstalled botgh the enhanced app and the gmail account. When I went to reinstall gmail from the BB device, it resumed syncing into the corporate account.How can I keep these two accts separate?
