Sep 9, 2012Y emails don't update althought settings are to do so. Also they don't sync so if I delete on computer or phone, they don't delete on the other.

Jun 2, 2011Doesn't sync incoming emails. Last night I did a complete clean wipe of the device and still same issue. In the settings, when I have "Verify Certificate" selected, I get an error message saying the certificate can't be verified.

Nov 26, 2012For the last 2 weeks I have been having some really crazy issues with my phone, things like: weather not updating (preinstalled weather widget) facebook widget just going blank not showing updates, not updating and won't let me on, display just randomly turning off the auto feature and going all the way to dim, gmail not synching for days at a time, motocast not uploading pics some time or just certain pics, phone just reboots at random, phone freezes for 10-30 secs. I have done 2 factory resets, and even tried the second time not reinstalling my apps, still the same random problems. Anyone else seen or heard of this?

Nov 24, 2012Well the last week or so I have noticed that my email account is not syncing with my Razr Maxx HD - It is an outlook account - it also does the same thing with my Yahoo account as well I tried looking in settings for sync frequency but there is not option to set - I know on previouse phones there has been option for it but not this one.. Other than deleting the account and re-doing it or restoring the phone, because those two dont work.

Aug 5, 2012My corporate account (Exchange/Activesync server) hasn't synced since the update was installed Saturday, June 30th. It was syncing fine pre-ICS, however, post-ICS nothing. The screenshot reflects the message I receive when attempting to set up the account on the phone.
In troubleshooting, I have tried removing the account (only initially following the upgrade, account will not complete set up since) and adding it again.
Also, all other email accounts (gmail, earthlink, hotmail, yahoo) are connecting fine, only having problems with the Corporate account. Additionally, I need this to work more for the calendar sync than the email, especially since I separate my work/personal calendars via this account, Google, and personal version of Outlook.

Dec 24, 2012I have a razr maxx hd and ever since I did the jellybean update, my corporate email will synch correctly for a few hours and then stop synching. This may last for couple of hours or all day. I have deleted the account several times and also have done a FDR. I am still having the same problem. The coporate email is one of the main functions that I use my phone for, so its very important that it works correctly. I have tried it off WIFI and on WIFI with the same issues. It just periodically loses connection with the server and gives error message that says "Couldn't find connection to server". Like I said, this may last for only couple of hours or most of the day and then it just starts working again.

I want to sync with a cord just as I am doing now between Outlook and Droid pre-installed apps. I do that now with "AndroidSync" but there's nothing to sync those other two catgories with yet. Nov 20, 2012My phone doesn't consistently sync, even though I have push email enabled. Happens when I'm both connected to wifi and on 4G/3G. When it's not syncing, mail doesn't even sync when I open the app; I have to manually do it. Completely unacceptable, never had this problem on any other smartphone I've owned (which have all been HTCs). Maybe this is helpful, but the gmail widget and the email widget also do not consistently sync on my device. Maybe there's a trend here that points to a larger problem or solution. But I' m not worried about the widgets; I just want to be able to get my email onto my device, which should be happening with no issues.

Dec 1, 2012I have had problems with emails in my Microsoft Exchange account not displaying (completely blank body), not showing correct HTML content, and in some cases not showing the sender address. Now I don't know if it is inappropriate to say so on this forum, but I rooted the phone in order to uninstall the Moto email client, and install the stock ICS email client. Once I did that, none of my emails are blank, most HTML content shows correctly, and other quirky issues seem to have improved. But, the stock email client also does not have a search feature (big problem), you cannot swipe in the message list, and it's application icon does not show a badge for the number of unread emails. So it is a bit of a sacrifice to have to revert to the stock client just to be able to read my email. I have also tried TouchDown email and it displays all the Exchange emails fantastically, but it's look and feel is a bit crummy and it costs $20.

Apr 27, 2012I have a Droid Razr. I love the phone. I use the email application that looks like an envelope with a "@" partially sticking out of it. It all works great, but is there SOME way to delete emails from there without it deleting them from my email server? My email is in gmail; on the desktop at home I read it through Firefox. If I delete ANY messages on the phone, even messages that have been read, they are deleted from my gmail account at home (they are in the trash). I've looked and looked and can't find a setting on the phone that would prevent this.

Aug 7, 2012Since the last automatic Droid Razr update a few weeks ago it is very complicated to mark all unread emails as read! It was easy to do before but after this update it seems not to work! If go to my main email account I can sort the email by date, unread, or other options. I select by unread. I then press the menu key and select "select all". Then some iconw appear in the bottom: a trash, a mail, and a flag. I select the mail one and it opens up and the word "mark read" appears but the messages don't clear as read. It used to work without issues before the update.

Jul 27, 2012I am using a Droid RAZR with ICS. At times I will receive an email with a timestamp sometime in the future (usually a SPAM message). This prevents new emails from downloading into the email program until after the date and time of that last email. If I delete the email with the incorrect timestamp other meails will immediately download onto the phone.I have looked at the header for this email in Outlook on my PC, and it appears that the email program on the phone is using the timestamp fro the sending computer system, not the one from the local timezone. Does anyone know a way around this issue?

On my old phone, when I checked my email messages on the phone, the messages remained "unread" on the server, so that when I got to work, I would know that those messages had not been dealt with. Only the messages I read or responded to on my phone showed up as "read" on the server. On the Razr Maxx, the minute the emails download to the phone, they show up as "read" on my computer, even if I never opened them on the phone.The old phone had some kind of setting that gave me the option to leave messages unread on the server, but I can find no such setting on the Razr Maxx and live tech support said it did not exist either. Apr 8, 2012I purchased the Moto Elite Sliver because my Plantronics Pro HD would drop its bluetooth every single time a call was answered or placed. I did a little research and found it may be related to a conflict with the 2.0 headset and 4.0 phone. Moto Sliver is BT 3.0 and was working great until this week. Now every single time a call is disconnected, the headset disconnects and reconnects. Reboots galore, problem still exists. Uninstall/reinstall Motospeak, problem still exists. Sometimes the bluetooth will not connect at all (reboot required). The Droid RAZR Maxx and the Elite Sliver are supposed to be state of the art MOTOROLA, I make a living with my phone and headset.
