View 2 Replies View RelatedI recently applied the latest blackberry update to v.6.0. ever since, any meeting requests i send from my BB send to my invites as blank emails. never had this issue prior.
View 4 Replies View RelatedWith previous Android Motorola phones, there weren't issues with sending emails and showing in the Sent folder. But the Turbo doesn't have a 'native' email app so I downloaded the Outlook app. Many emails that I 'send' don't show in 'Sent' folder (or received by recipient). Tech support says they're aware of the problem and are working on it. But for now I'm stuck without a trustworthy email app.
View 9 Replies View RelatedUnfortunately I got the ICS update a couple of weeks ago. I use my Razr Maxx as a business phone and since the update I can no longer email 'groups'. I have deleted the groups and entered them again....I have spent HOURS on the phone with Motorola and Verizon and all they keep doing is guessing at the cause. Motorola actually remotely accessed my phone and tried to figure out why this isn't working now with NO LUCK! I should be able to enter the group name in the To: and the group pull up. But it appears as though someone has FAILED to enable this simple function. Why in GOD's name even have 'groups'. I could do this on my blackberry in 2002. What a failure.
To be clear. This was no issue until the ICS update.it doesn't work on either Gmail or the Corp Exchange acct. This is clearly a failure and will take some type of update to fix.
For some reason my Droid Razr cannot receive an mp3 through MMS if it is over 54 seconds in length. Anything under 54 seconds comes through no problem.
some background. I am a paramedic and we are paged from a central dispatch. When this page goes out we have software that will record it and send it via MMS to our phones.as a secondary paging for some reason if it is over 54 seconds in length I will get the txt but not the file. This goes the same if it is emailed to me. It is not just my phone my co worker has a Droid Razr also and has same problem. other co workers with casio, LG and other phones get them with no problem so I have concluded it is Motorola that has put this in. Spent long times with Verizon and Motorola supports with no success (dont think they understand what I mean)
I took an mp3 and started cutting it back second by second until I was able to recieve it this is how I know 54 seconds is the magic length. also the file is only 500k so well under the size limit.
now to make things a bit more compicated. If I connect to the computer and d/l the file to my phone it will work. I can even txt said file back to myself and recieve it but if I txt it to my phone from computer again it will not let me have the file.
haven't seen this issue brought up yet but it is being talked about on the verizon community website. have you guys noticed that the droid razr does not recieve or send all text messages. it is very random and does not always happen with the same person or service carrier.
View 4 Replies View RelatedSo I noticed that when I send an email through Exchange. I end up sending anywhere between 3 and 15 emails. and also get a "message not sent" display at the notifcation bar. My other incoming emails (except gmail) I get between 10 and 20 copies of emails coming in. I have tried restarting, reinitializing the email clients. etc with no avail.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI have a Droid razr maxx and an exchange server with it configured on.my phone However now Im having trouble sending any email with my razr maxx on the exchange account if I try and add any sort of attachment to the email it refuses to send just sits in my outbox?
View 5 Replies View RelatedI have noticed with the RAZR that when composing a text in landscape mode you actually have to click "done" and then "send" but not if the phone is positioned normal. Can this be changed? I tend to forget to hit send thinking I did when I select done.
View 2 Replies View RelatedThis is odd and Motorola Tech support has no idea. For some reason photos taken in portrait end up in lanscape and upside down (sideways) to recipient when sent via MMS. I have sent test pics to myself and three other phones, HTC, Bionc and S3 they all recieve them in lanscape. this didn't happen with my old T-bolt! Portrait photo's were sent and received as portrait.Motorola could not not confirm if this is an issue as they have nothing noted. They didn't have a phone with service to test. They want me to do a full restore and then send the phone in if that doesn't work. I want to make sure this issue is just confined to my phone before I go down the replacement road. I'm still with-in my 14 day Verizon return time and if this is an issue for all M's, it's a deal breaker. Can someone text an mms picture to themself taken portrait and see if they recieve it in portrait? That would be very beneficial for both myself and Motorola. Not sure if it matters but my phone askes me if I want to resize photo every time I try to send via text.
View 9 Replies View RelatedAs the title says, I have a Droid Turbo that will not send emails with a few photos coming to about 15 MB. Same thing happens with our Razr M and Droid Minis, but my iPhone 6 doesn't seem to have an issue. Thought I could do something similar as the iPhone and choose what size I want the photos to be when I send (to at least make the email smaller), but I can't seem to find anything like that either. We are running Exchange 2010 and do not have any email size requirements set for incoming/outgoing mail or for the ActiveSync policy. They just sit in the Outbox until I delete them.
View 1 Replies View RelatedY emails don't update althought settings are to do so. Also they don't sync so if I delete on computer or phone, they don't delete on the other.
View 4 Replies View RelatedMy emails don't synchronized correctly. I mean, I can check my emails in my computer and the new messages are there, but then I go and check my phone and they are not there even if I request new emails. This seems to happen often. I have deleted the account and add it again sometimes so it can sync correctly.
View 3 Replies View RelatedI have had problems with emails in my Microsoft Exchange account not displaying (completely blank body), not showing correct HTML content, and in some cases not showing the sender address. Now I don't know if it is inappropriate to say so on this forum, but I rooted the phone in order to uninstall the Moto email client, and install the stock ICS email client. Once I did that, none of my emails are blank, most HTML content shows correctly, and other quirky issues seem to have improved. But, the stock email client also does not have a search feature (big problem), you cannot swipe in the message list, and it's application icon does not show a badge for the number of unread emails. So it is a bit of a sacrifice to have to revert to the stock client just to be able to read my email. I have also tried TouchDown email and it displays all the Exchange emails fantastically, but it's look and feel is a bit crummy and it costs $20.

View 2 Replies View RelatedSince the upgrade, my maxx keeps downloading e-mails 18-25 at a time. These are old e-mail, and we are now clear back to Feb. 2012. I'll delete all and about 10 minutes later, I see it downloading again. This is a pop-server account. New e-mails seem to find there way in fine.
View 1 Replies View RelatedDoes anyone beside me get duplicate (sometimes over a hundred) emails on their Droid RAZR? I have two different gmail accounts syncing to my phone but only one of them has this issue.
View 12 Replies View RelatedI have a Droid Razr. I love the phone. I use the email application that looks like an envelope with a "@" partially sticking out of it. It all works great, but is there SOME way to delete emails from there without it deleting them from my email server? My email is in gmail; on the desktop at home I read it through Firefox. If I delete ANY messages on the phone, even messages that have been read, they are deleted from my gmail account at home (they are in the trash). I've looked and looked and can't find a setting on the phone that would prevent this.
View 4 Replies View RelatedSince the last automatic Droid Razr update a few weeks ago it is very complicated to mark all unread emails as read! It was easy to do before but after this update it seems not to work! If go to my main email account I can sort the email by date, unread, or other options. I select by unread. I then press the menu key and select "select all". Then some iconw appear in the bottom: a trash, a mail, and a flag. I select the mail one and it opens up and the word "mark read" appears but the messages don't clear as read. It used to work without issues before the update.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI am using a Droid RAZR with ICS. At times I will receive an email with a timestamp sometime in the future (usually a SPAM message). This prevents new emails from downloading into the email program until after the date and time of that last email. If I delete the email with the incorrect timestamp other meails will immediately download onto the phone.I have looked at the header for this email in Outlook on my PC, and it appears that the email program on the phone is using the timestamp fro the sending computer system, not the one from the local timezone. Does anyone know a way around this issue?
View 1 Replies View RelatedYahoo mail doesn't show all of the folders to move e-mails out of my inbox. It only shows inbox and trash. This wasn't an issue with my X. How can I make them visible?
View 6 Replies View RelatedI just bought a Droid Razr Maxx yesterday. My previous phone was also a motorola Droid. On my old phone, when I checked my email messages on the phone, the messages remained "unread" on the server, so that when I got to work, I would know that those messages had not been dealt with. Only the messages I read or responded to on my phone showed up as "read" on the server. On the Razr Maxx, the minute the emails download to the phone, they show up as "read" on my computer, even if I never opened them on the phone. The old phone had some kind of setting that gave me the option to leave messages unread on the server, but I can find no such setting on the Razr Maxx and live tech support said it did not exist either. I use Verizon and the email is set up on a POP 3 account?

View 6 Replies View RelatedOn my Motorola Electrify...I am currently synced with my company MS Cloud email using corporate sync. There seems to be an issue with the phone sending out duplicate replies to the same recipient when I reply to their email from the phone. Looking back in the "Sent" folder on my phone I see 4 or 5 copies of the same reply.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI purchased the Moto Elite Sliver because my Plantronics Pro HD would drop its bluetooth every single time a call was answered or placed. I did a little research and found it may be related to a conflict with the 2.0 headset and 4.0 phone. Moto Sliver is BT 3.0 and was working great until this week. Now every single time a call is disconnected, the headset disconnects and reconnects. Reboots galore, problem still exists. Uninstall/reinstall Motospeak, problem still exists. Sometimes the bluetooth will not connect at all (reboot required). The Droid RAZR Maxx and the Elite Sliver are supposed to be state of the art MOTOROLA, I make a living with my phone and headset.
View 4 Replies View RelatedI am having no luck trying to send any picture to someone using my Hotmail account. I can recieve any message fine and reply just with text but if i attatch any file (so far picture) it doesnt allow me.
I had to send a file through a MMS just so they could get it.
I have WiFi enabled. Often when I am near a wireless access point, my RAZR M still uses 4G. It's as if the WiFi is going to sleep when I power the screen off, but it doesn't wake up again. Turning WiFi off and on makes it reconnect. It seems to happen mostly when I'm at home, where I also use the Motorola flip stand with "ESP" smart charger, and a NetGear dual-band wireless router/access point.
