So I noticed that when I send an email through Exchange. I end up sending anywhere between 3 and 15 emails. and also get a "message not sent" display at the notifcation bar. My other incoming emails (except gmail) I get between 10 and 20 copies of emails coming in. I have tried restarting, reinitializing the email clients. etc with no avail.
View 1 RepliesI know that with the Gingerbread update the duplicate SMS issue was supposed to be fixed but it is still horrendous on my phone. I just received 10..10 copies of the same SMS. This is not a one off occurrence either. Almost daily I receive multiple copies of the same message. I know I'm on a Droid 2 and am due for a much needed upgrade but am trying to hold out for a Droid 5 (if there is even to be one). In other words I'll probably wait until the beginning of 2013 before I pull the trigger on a new phone. Is it safe to say there are no more software updates coming? I know it won't be ICS or anything but any bug fixes? The last time I reset my phone was approximately 60 hours ago, it just froze so had to hard reset.
View 3 Replies View RelatedI noticed that when I get messages (usually MMS with pictures) from my someone who sent the message to multiple recipients, if I touch the icon at the top of the message thread, next to "Multiple Recipients", with the four greyed out heads (where the normal contact picture is), I'm able to see who else the message was sent to. This includes people and phone numbers that I do not have in my contacts list. I'm concerned about this, because if I were to be the one sending a message to multiple recipients, I could see a situation where I would send it to multiple people but not want to disclose everyone's phone number to everyone else. Isn't this a privacy concern or violation? There should be a way to turn this off on the sending end.

There seems to be an issue with the phone sending out duplicate replies to the same recipient when I reply to their email from the phone. Looking back in the "Sent" folder on my phone I see 4 or 5 copies of the same reply.

In one text coversation this morning with my wife, about 60% of the texts she sent me were received multiple times. (she on Dx2). This happens randomply and with texts received from friends on other carriers. This started happening sometime after one of the last updates, but I have not had a lot of extra time to research it. I did search the forum but found no similiar problems.

View 6 Replies View RelatedI have a Droid Bionic, and ever since i got the phone, i randomly do not get text messages from another user with an Iphone on the Verizon network. It may be happening with other phones, but I'm only aware of the Iphone because she lives with me. Anyone else having issues with not being able to receive texts? I get no notification or anything. It's as if they weren't sent, but they went through on the originating phone.

But the Turbo doesn't have a 'native' email app so I downloaded the Outlook app. Many emails that I 'send' don't show in 'Sent' folder (or received by recipient). Tech support says they're aware of the problem and are working on it. But for now I'm stuck without a trustworthy email app.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI've had this phone for about a year and have always had issues of not receiving Hotmail emails within a reasonable amount of time. With the GB update it did get a little better but today when I turned on my phone at 7am and it's now 10:30am I have not received any emails. I checked my Hotmail account on a desktop pc and I had 12 emails since last night as recently as 15 minutes ago. I thought GB was supposed to fix this. My battery life is not better if possibly worse with GB. And yes my Droid X does turn back on when I turn it off. Looks like GB may have fixed some things but broke others

The problem is that I'd like to leave the emails on the computer but be able to remove some of them from my Bionic after I see them. Is there a way to set up the Bionic so that I can delete them from the phone but leave them on the computer so that I can respond to them later?
As it is now, I am just leaving them on the phone until after I take care of business on the computer...then I go back to the phone and delete them. I'm thinking about K9 as I have heard a lot about it. Not sure if it will be the answer to my prayers or not but I'll check here first.

View 1 Replies View RelatedAs the title says, I have a Droid Turbo that will not send emails with a few photos coming to about 15 MB. Same thing happens with our Razr M and Droid Minis, but my iPhone 6 doesn't seem to have an issue. Thought I could do something similar as the iPhone and choose what size I want the photos to be when I send (to at least make the email smaller), but I can't seem to find anything like that either. We are running Exchange 2010 and do not have any email size requirements set for incoming/outgoing mail or for the ActiveSync policy. They just sit in the Outbox until I delete them.

I tried rebooting the phone and deleting/recreating the email account but I still get the same message.
