I am new to this forum and would like to thank you for any help in advance.My problem is that my BB Storm has stopped receiving and sending emails. I worked perfectly. I have recently added an couple of new addresses, they were working very well to, but now nothing.

My blackberry has suddenly stopped sending & receiving emails, cannot work out why, have not changed any settings. When I took it in to the T-mobile shop they said I needed to install some updates, which I did, but it still isn't getting or sending any emails!

I would call myself on the technical side, but am just not sure of how one smartphone can do it and one cant. Not bashing RIM or my storm..and not looking to transfer over to the iphone - just interested in knowing why and if there is, or will be some BB that can offer this.
eg.. what hardware makes this achieve-able? can RIM at all add this to future BB's.
I feel it doesnt have to do anything between CDMA and GSM, I could be wrong, Im sure there are a few members on here that can help clarify.
I have suddenly stopped receiving my emails to my blackberry torch 9880. I also cannot send. I've researched on the net and I've done power off and also battery pull. I've tried going into the setup and email settings but it will not let me check my settings.

They had me do everything including delete all my service books and now there is nothing in the host routing table. They finally said, we cant help. View 14 Replies View RelatedMy BBM has stopped sending or recieving messages.Whenever I try to send a message, it makes the sending symbol that looks like ))) but then a big red cross like this X comes up. I've tried re-booting about 10 times, and also updating my version of BBM to the newest possible version, but nothing has worked. It's not a connection issue, because my internet, 3G, Facebook, Twitter, Texts and Emails are all working. I've tried connecting my phone to my wifi instead of the 3G I pay for, but with still no luck. Also, my data usage is fully topped up and nothing wrong with my service provider O2.

Unfortunately when I get to that screen, its frozen, and wont let me move the sliders across.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI have a Curve 8900 running v4.6.1.231...I am on an Enterprise Data plan, with emails synched up to both my office outlook email, and my personal yahoo email. At around 11:30 yesterday, my yahoo email stopped sending/receiving/synching with my BB, but my office outlook email is working fine.
I tried to go into Email setup with the setup wizard, to see if maybe I had to delete and re-add my yahoo email account, but after about 60 seconds with a load message "connecting to email settings" I got a message that said "Your devide had a problem connecting to the server" with retry and cancel button - I retried with no avail.Not the most tech savvy person here, but was wondering if this is a problem on my end? Or something on the BB side?

I end up sending anywhere between 3 and 15 emails. and also get a "message not sent" display at the notifcation bar. My other incoming emails (except gmail) I get between 10 and 20 copies of emails coming in. I have tried restarting, reinitializing the email clients. etc with no avail.
