Feb 19, 2015When emails are deleted from phone, they are also deleted from desktop Outlook 2010 (GoDaddy is email supplier). Where do I change the settings? on the phone or desktop email? and what do I need to set them to? IMAP or POP?

Aug 7, 2012Since the last automatic Droid Razr update a few weeks ago it is very complicated to mark all unread emails as read! It was easy to do before but after this update it seems not to work! If go to my main email account I can sort the email by date, unread, or other options. I select by unread. I then press the menu key and select "select all". Then some iconw appear in the bottom: a trash, a mail, and a flag. I select the mail one and it opens up and the word "mark read" appears but the messages don't clear as read. It used to work without issues before the update.

Apr 27, 2015With previous Android Motorola phones, there weren't issues with sending emails and showing in the Sent folder. But the Turbo doesn't have a 'native' email app so I downloaded the Outlook app. Many emails that I 'send' don't show in 'Sent' folder (or received by recipient). Tech support says they're aware of the problem and are working on it. But for now I'm stuck without a trustworthy email app.

Jun 9, 2015As the title says, I have a Droid Turbo that will not send emails with a few photos coming to about 15 MB. Same thing happens with our Razr M and Droid Minis, but my iPhone 6 doesn't seem to have an issue. Thought I could do something similar as the iPhone and choose what size I want the photos to be when I send (to at least make the email smaller), but I can't seem to find anything like that either. We are running Exchange 2010 and do not have any email size requirements set for incoming/outgoing mail or for the ActiveSync policy. They just sit in the Outbox until I delete them.

Not sure if I'm missing a setting or what but my old Droid DNA synced just fine. I'm using the default email app on the phone. Apr 27, 2012I have a Droid Razr. I love the phone. I use the email application that looks like an envelope with a "@" partially sticking out of it. It all works great, but is there SOME way to delete emails from there without it deleting them from my email server? My email is in gmail; on the desktop at home I read it through Firefox. If I delete ANY messages on the phone, even messages that have been read, they are deleted from my gmail account at home (they are in the trash). I've looked and looked and can't find a setting on the phone that would prevent this.

If I press the lock button myself, the phone will lock and stay black with the time. If I unlock my phone and let it be, it'll turn to the rainbow colors. I have my phone on the turbo charger when this happens!

May 27, 2011Using K9 to monitor my msn.com account, when I read an email on the PC it does not change the status of the email on the Droid to show as read. Same issue the other way, if I read an email on the Droid the same email shows as not read on the PC.
Is there a setting some place within K9 that will mark the PC email as read and allow the sever to mark an email as read on the Droid?

Aug 27, 2011In my Droid X, when I go to Settings>Applications>Manage Applications>On SD Card, to the right of some of the apps is a green box with a check mark in the box. To the right of the other apps on the SD card is a grayed out box. I cannot turn the green box into a gray box and I cannot turn the gray box into a green box by tapping on the box.
What does the green box indicate and what does the grayed out box indicate? What changes the box from green to gray and gray to green?
