Using K9 to monitor my msn.com account, when I read an email on the PC it does not change the status of the email on the Droid to show as read. Same issue the other way, if I read an email on the Droid the same email shows as not read on the PC.
Is there a setting some place within K9 that will mark the PC email as read and allow the sever to mark an email as read on the Droid?
New Turbo, running 4.4.4 and can't find a way to mark all mail as being read. Haven't been able to find an answer anywhere.
View 12 Replies View RelatedSince the last automatic Droid Razr update a few weeks ago it is very complicated to mark all unread emails as read! It was easy to do before but after this update it seems not to work! If go to my main email account I can sort the email by date, unread, or other options. I select by unread. I then press the menu key and select "select all". Then some iconw appear in the bottom: a trash, a mail, and a flag. I select the mail one and it opens up and the word "mark read" appears but the messages don't clear as read. It used to work without issues before the update.

In my Droid X, when I go to Settings>Applications>Manage Applications>On SD Card, to the right of some of the apps is a green box with a check mark in the box. To the right of the other apps on the SD card is a grayed out box. I cannot turn the green box into a gray box and I cannot turn the gray box into a green box by tapping on the box.
What does the green box indicate and what does the grayed out box indicate? What changes the box from green to gray and gray to green?
I configure my corp mail using BIS in my blackberry. I am getting around 100+ mails in hours of time. Even I read in my corp outlook, still blackberry shows "UNREAD".When I configure I have a open to sync my delete mail with my corp outlook not for inbox .I am totally tiring of go and open all the unread mail to make as read.

View 1 Replies View RelatedThe SG-II's built-in mail app has a most annoying "feature":it obviously marks mails that it downloaded as read on the POP server. I would prefer to have them still left as "unread", so when I access my account via Outlook later, they would be downloaded there as well. I realize, that this would mean that I have to re-read them (or mark them as read) again but I would prefer to have ALL my mails in Outlook as well. Currently, if I read my mails via the SG-II but want to keep one of them also in Outlook (e.g for archiving purposes), I have to resend the mail to my second account (which is only polled by Outlook). I find this is most stupid and annoying!
PS.: I do NOT want to switch to IMAP for other reasons and my POP account has worked as I described with Windows Mobile before, so I don't see, why I can't have that same behavior with my Andorid device.
I'm using the Razr Maxx, Motorola Car NavDock and the app Motorola Car Finder. My question, is there a way to disable the app asking me if I want to mark my car's location when the phone is removed from the dock. My use case is when I get home, clearly I don't need to mark my car's location when I'm at home. The app opens and asks me if I want to mark my location. I also explored using Smart Actions to do this but no luck there either. You would think you could mark locations so the app knows by GPS location that you don't need to mark this location to find your car.

View 14 Replies View RelatedI have an SD card the says "MICRO HC 8GB co8G Taiwan". It has a little circle that has a "4" in it. My Droid X2 is reading it as a 4 GB card and says it's full even though most of my apps are in the internal memory. When downloading app data it says there's enough room. When I removed the SD card, there are a number of apps that are checking as being on the SD card. When I "Move to media area" it changes to "Move to phone" which suggests that it just move the app to the SD card...which in not in the phone!
Is this a programing problem with the phone where it's not finding the SD card at all, or is this a faulty SD card?
how to disable the auto text read back while in the car dock. There's no way to reply. I have a command one Bluetooth that works with motospeak so that I can be hands free while driving. The auto read out function over shadows this, making it worthless.

Heck, I can even file my emails away in my folders, if I want to; i.e. move them over to my bills folder, or my purchases folder, or my mom folder.Now, here's the deal with my other account tho. I have my work emails going to my iPhone too. At work, I use Outlook. View 24 Replies View Relatedyou installed 5.1 believing the hype that latest means greatest and found out that 5.1 is not better than 4.4.4, simply different. You found out some of your apps don't work, your battery life took a hit for the worse or even your hardware does not perform as well as it did on Kitkat 4.4.4. If you installed the OTA for 5.1 and you are happy, this is not directed at you; just continue to enjoy your new OS. I have taken the time to read from many different sources and viewed several videos on You Tube that test side by side Kitkat 4.4.4 vs LP 5.1 and it shows conclusively that Kitkat out.
If you know for a fact that LP will offer you something specific that you need take the plunge but at least take the time to check what LP will mess up that you are now enjoying on Kitkat, the information is out there easily found, in closing: if you are sitting on the fence and have not yet taken the 5.1 OTA read and view videos so when you make your decision at least you will know what you will be getting and losing.
Does anyone have a problem (perhaps since .905, maybe an update before that) with Text Messages not being shown as being read after you've read them? It is getting really annoying... I get a text message, I read it, and I go to look at a new text message and there it is looking all Unread! It may even make an indicator appear in the top bar (but I'm not 100% positive about that). I've seen this problem arise on PC's in Outlook, but it's definitely never been a problem of mine with cell phones before.

They have so many users going through hoops to describe their problem and give them details without really fixing the problem. It's been about 7 months since the first issue was reported to them. And of course, most users are jumping ship and requesting refunds.

The 2nd time (same day) I hit cancel after I heard the message and since then it will not pop up and read me the message anymore. I was hoping/wondering if there was some way to read text messages on my computer when I have my phone plugged in through USB. I can't use the web app since I hadn't signed up for Verizon Online and it requires getting a code through text message. I figure the phone has to store the messages somewhere so I should be able to access them using my computer.
I want to use an external hard drive that has contents that I want to be able to view on my samsung galaxy tablet or my motorola droid turbo. How can I do this without rooting them? If I have to root is there a guide that is easy to follow for both devices. I have the proper connection type usb connector.

I now seem to be able to only do from this from in the email itself as if I am in my in box and press the button I need to hold it down and then I get a shortcut menu appearing. Have I accidently created this or has blackberry changed this as I recently upgraded one of their apps (though thought it was messenger)?
