I'm using the default functionality in my new Tour 9630 (Sprint) to read my Gmail and Facebook messages, and there appears to be no way to 'mark all as read,' which I need since any changes I make to my Gmail messages (e.g., reading them so they are then marked as read) is not refleted in my Tour. How do I mark all the messages as read?

Question is: Is there a way to select all mails and mark them AS UNREAD AT ONCE!

View 1 Replies View RelatedI saw last week on Crackberry that some users were seeing their read messages sync properly from gmail onto their BB. Have any Verizon Tour users seen this? Since last week messages I send from the web gmail interface appear on my BB but when I view a message online it doesn't show as read on my BB. Has anyone with Verizon and the Tour gotten this to work properly?
View 4 Replies View RelatedI am having tough times trying to figure it out why Gmail messages are not automatically marked as read it on my Blackberry after I read them on my computer at the Google Webmail page. I have just read 5 emails on Google web page and they are still appearing as unread it on my Blackberry. My wife has the iPhone, and it immediately marked messages as read it as well. Do I need to set any specific setting?

I just got my new LG G3 and I love it. But it bothers me that the stock email only provide a selection to mark as unread if i select all. If I need to mark as read, I can only select one by one, but if i selected any read emails, it will just provide option button below as mark as unread.
I only check my emails few times a day on my phone but it could get up to a lot and i need this feature that I can mark as read easily.
I'm using a Balckberry Bold 9700 and i'm using the software version:5.0 Bundle 1446
The problem is, i won't have the "Mark Perior Opened" button in the "options" and i don't want to update to the 6.0Bundle.
Using K9 to monitor my msn.com account, when I read an email on the PC it does not change the status of the email on the Droid to show as read. Same issue the other way, if I read an email on the Droid the same email shows as not read on the PC.
Is there a setting some place within K9 that will mark the PC email as read and allow the sever to mark an email as read on the Droid?
I want to be able to "select all" e-mails and then mark them as read, rather than going through and selecting each of them individually. Is there any way to do that since my phone downloaded every e-mail known to man that was not deleted from my accounts

View 4 Replies View RelatedThe SG-II's built-in mail app has a most annoying "feature":it obviously marks mails that it downloaded as read on the POP server. I would prefer to have them still left as "unread", so when I access my account via Outlook later, they would be downloaded there as well. I realize, that this would mean that I have to re-read them (or mark them as read) again but I would prefer to have ALL my mails in Outlook as well. Currently, if I read my mails via the SG-II but want to keep one of them also in Outlook (e.g for archiving purposes), I have to resend the mail to my second account (which is only polled by Outlook). I find this is most stupid and annoying!
PS.: I do NOT want to switch to IMAP for other reasons and my POP account has worked as I described with Windows Mobile before, so I don't see, why I can't have that same behavior with my Andorid device.
I have several POP3 email accounts and I will change emails from unread to read. After some time (from seconds to days or even weeks), some of them will reappear as unread.

View 14 Replies View RelatedSince the last automatic Droid Razr update a few weeks ago it is very complicated to mark all unread emails as read! It was easy to do before but after this update it seems not to work! If go to my main email account I can sort the email by date, unread, or other options. I select by unread. I then press the menu key and select "select all". Then some iconw appear in the bottom: a trash, a mail, and a flag. I select the mail one and it opens up and the word "mark read" appears but the messages don't clear as read. It used to work without issues before the update.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI'm experiencing a weird glitch that no one (including tech support at Verizon) seems to be able to figure out. I have a gmail account set up on my Bold 9650 and everything works properly EXCEPT that I cannot get it to show me the message count of unread messages (which usually should show up in parenthesis when I scroll over the account envelope icon). It seems that this is an issue with the Bold 9650 in particular because I have gotten the gmail unread message count to work on other blackberry devices, but not my (or another friend's) Bold 9650.

View 10 Replies View RelatedNot sure if this has already been addressed (surely it must have been!), but am trying to sort unread notifications for Gmail app. I am currently trying Notifyer Unread Count from Play Store. The Notifyer seems to be doing the trick with a fairly simple set up. Am just using the free version which doesn't have any ads but the payable version allows even greater customization like the icon etc.

View 1 Replies View RelatedSuddenly today after deleting a handful of messages out of one mailbox it suddenly says that mailbox has 4294967295 messages. There is nothing in the mailbox. If I send mail to it, the count changes to 1 until I delete that message then it goes back to 4294967295. I have deleted the account and recreated it but that didn't fix it.
