Issue is I'm not seeing any of my existing / read messages on my phone. After set up I had zero messages in my blackberry email inbox. How do I go about getting these message in my blackberry email?
So I set up my gmail account via the BIS or whatever plug-in, and all seems to be working ok. The problem is that the emails go straight to my general "Messages" inbox, but nothing shows up in my Gmail account inbox when i click on that specific icon. I do have SMS/MMS broken out into a separate inbox, but i'd like to use the gmail inbox where it threads messages with the same topic instead of the general messages inbox.tried resending service books.

I have just read 5 emails on Google web page and they are still appearing as unread it on my Blackberry. My wife has the iPhone, and it immediately marked messages as read it as well. Do I need to set any specific setting?

Since last week messages I send from the web gmail interface appear on my BB but when I view a message online it doesn't show as read on my BB. View 4 Replies View RelatedI'm having problems accessing any websites at all.I'm on the 3 network and can access all of their own free to browse stuff, but when i try to access social networking or BBC sites or anything else, it shows a message saying 'unable to connect please try again later'.I really don't know what the issue is, and after contacting 3 they aren't filling me with confidence that they know either.Also i do not have the option of adding my existing gmail account to my blackberry.

Many of my gmail messages like ads are automatically archived. Since I have my new bold 9900, these mails are not deleted from my inbox folder. My inbox Is polluated by many messages that are already archived. Consequence : I don't use anymore m bby for gmail, I use m iPad. If I open an already archived message, this one desapeare from my inbox as soon as I close it. I did not have the pb on my old devices (9000, 9800, 9700).

I there comes new mail to my Gmail account, it immediately appears in my Bold also. If I read this mail on BB, it is marked as read also in my desktop client and on web interface. But if I read new mail in web interface or desktop client it remains marked as unread in Bold (even after few hours!) and I must mark as readed manualy in phone.
I'm experiencing a weird glitch that no one (including tech support at Verizon) seems to be able to figure out. I have a gmail account set up on my Bold 9650 and everything works properly EXCEPT that I cannot get it to show me the message count of unread messages (which usually should show up in parenthesis when I scroll over the account envelope icon). It seems that this is an issue with the Bold 9650 in particular because I have gotten the gmail unread message count to work on other blackberry devices, but not my (or another friend's) Bold 9650.

I figure I would have to do this in Options, but when I click on Option while I'm in the Inbox, nothing happens - just goes back to the inbox. My main objective here is wireless contacts sync. I have read a lot of negative feedback regarding Gmail on a BlackBerry but I will not really even be using this for email all to often, although I will from time to time.
What I have done is just added my new Gmail account through the native BlackBerry email setup and then downloaded Google Sync. I downloaded the Gmail app but I didn't really like the UI and I like to have all 3 of my email accounts go into the same folder.
My Blackberry has inadvertently decided to sync all of my personal contacts to a work Gmail address. My actual device won't let me change the syncing address directly on the contact edit page. Is there a way to change the Gmail address where these contacts sync without having to re-enter all of my contacts?
View 1 Replies View RelatedNoticed a little while ago that some emails I was waiting for were sitting in Inbox (the app) all along. I've done some troubleshooting (reboot, clear cache, clear data, bouncing the notification settings in the app, bouncing sync).
In the end I uninstalled inbox and enabled gmail and went through all the above with that but no difference. Test emails, as well as genuine ones are all turning up immediately but I get no notification on the notification bar, led, no sound/vibrate etc.
I've tried in safe mode - same thing. I've turned priority mode on and off too.
I did finally get the latest sony update a couple of days ago and I can't be certain this has worked properly since then (Inbox, which I quite like, is set to not notify me for the majority of emails i get.
If I connect to gmail via the browser on my Bold, when I hit "login" the phone reboots. The screen goes black, and there's a long error message, which stays only briefly on the screen. The first line of it says something like ARM1 DAL critical failure. Then it completely shuts down and starts up again.I can get to any other website via the phone's web browser, and I can also access my gmail account using the gmail app.I'm running the most recent version of software for the Bold 9650.
This problem began when I tried to access my gmail account while sitting in a sports betting bar in a Las Vegas hotel, where they have a sign that it's illegal to email or text betting information. Could they have nobbled my phone? The only reason I wanted to look at my gmail was because I'd seen a news item saying that information about users of a service I'd signed up for, had their information hacked by Anonymous and posted on a third party website. I was trying to get to gmail to change my password.
Made the move from the Original Droid to the X2 yesterday. So far, it is a much improved device. Can't figure out how to get my gmail to show in the universal inbox.

There are too many messages to be able to scroll to the last ones.I would like to have a sort by date descending so that the last entries come firts (my iphone do that).Is there anybody that has the same issue? But suddenly even i already send servvice books synchronize etc with my device still-Trouble shoot- errorr - i cant open all my. Email inbox except gmail only ..and i couldnt open my text msg. Unfortunately it seems that Gmail will not work with the Universal Inbox which is a real problem for me. I really need to see and preview my business accounts first. There is also no widget option for Gmail, only my Yahoo mail. Any workaround for the Universal Inbox or a Gmail widget I could add?

I use Facebook for Blackberry.So here's my problem - a few days ago I checked my Blackberry Bold 9700 and saw that I had received 28 email messages and 8 Facebook notifications.However none of these emails or Facebook notifications was new. They were all ones I had already received that day.
I deleted them all, and guess what - an hour later and they all came back into my email inbox and Facebook notifications.When I went to sleep that night, I woke up with 136 emails and 26 Facebook notifications - ALL OF THEM THE SAME REPEAT EMAILS OVER AND OVER AGAIN!
I have been on forums and tried removing my battery and SIM card (not very technical, that) as well as resending the Service Books after doing this. Nothing has solved this problem though.I really hope someone can help please as I'm seriously thinking of ditching my BlackBerry and buying an iPhone where this problem doesn't occur.
I added a new gmail address to my phone, before that, I had my work e-mail, a different gmail address and my blackberry e-mail.All e-mails went directly into the main mailbox.They also went into the separate folders for each specific e-mail address. so if I wanted to only look at e-mails from email address #1, I just had to look in that folder.Well it still works for the first 3 e-mail address, but since I added the new gmail account, the e-mails on the new account only go to the main e-mail message folder.So if I go to the separate folder for the new gmail account it shows no e-mails at all.But if I go to the main inbox, any new e-mails to that account are shown there.Does anyone know how to fix this?I have deleted and re-added this account at least 3 times, I have done everything I know and I still cannot get the e-mails to show up in the separate account folder!
