I recently "upgraded" to Blackberry 6 OS on my 9650 Bold. I don't like the way my sent messages show up in my inbox and would like to change this. I figure I would have to do this in Options, but when I click on Option while I'm in the Inbox, nothing happens - just goes back to the inbox. I've tried resetting my device, pulling the battery, etc. to no avail.

Issue is I'm not seeing any of my existing / read messages on my phone. After set up I had zero messages in my blackberry email inbox. How do I go about getting these message in my blackberry email?
So I set up my gmail account via the BIS or whatever plug-in, and all seems to be working ok. The problem is that the emails go straight to my general "Messages" inbox, but nothing shows up in my Gmail account inbox when i click on that specific icon. I do have SMS/MMS broken out into a separate inbox, but i'd like to use the gmail inbox where it threads messages with the same topic instead of the general messages inbox.tried resending service books.
View 8 Replies View RelatedWhen I go into my "messages" folder, or any of my email folders, there are on 5 listed without scrolling down because the font size is so big. I heard that is a way so more can be shown by decreasing the size.
View 6 Replies View RelatedMy SMS inbox doesnt show new messages and also my Curve 8900 doesnt prompt for any new messages. However, the Mobiso application (which logs calls, texts) shows messages coming in with its text lengths. I asked this to Blackberryhelp on Twitter but it said to contact service provider, but there is nothing wrong with it. The format of the SMS inbox should have something wrong otherwise the Mobiso application should not have logged all messages.

Everything is working great and I'm very happy with the phone.What I want to know is can I get my BB email inbox to match my (hotmail, gmail, office) email inboxes? I'm getting all my emails fine from yesterday on, but any emails I have from before yesterday don't show up on the BB.Is this just the way it is? Is there no sync, just push?
View 7 Replies View RelatedI have a galaxy s6 edge. A weird thing is happening to my email. i would like to use conversation mode to display my messages. Initially all good. But when I press on the sent folder (to see the messages I sent), the Inbox goes crazy.
It displays all my sent messages in my inbox! Not just the ones from within a conversation, but all my sent messages... This is extremely strange. did not have that problem with my Samsung Alpha... I am at lost to understand Probably some simple setting I am missing?

View 12 Replies View RelatedMy Iphone4 email inbox is showing there is over 1,000 messages in the inbox but in fact there is only a few and email on my pc shows correctly. I cannot get the phone to show me the correct number of messages. Apart from this problem all email related things are working correctly.

I have a bold 9000 v.6.0.282. I am with Rogers. This may seem like a simple thing but it is driving me crazy. I cannot figure it out. I simply cannot delete 2 SMS messages from my Blackberry Bold. What did I press or not press? I have deleted them from saved messages etc. but they will delete from the inbox. Also, incoming SMS messages appear at the bottom of the screen under the date of the un-delete-able messages, and those un-delete-able messages appear under today's date.
View 4 Replies View RelatedSince I got the BB Bold 9900, I have had issues with facebook on it. The notifications box is checked off, but often the notificatons do not arrive until after I have gone into the Facebook Application, and physically hit "notifications". Suddenly my phone dings to say I someone wrote on my wall, etc.
In the past week, the messages in my inbox will not refresh. On my computer I know that i have about 4 new messages, but the last message I can see is from a couple days before my newest messages. Why can't I see them?? I don't want to have to turn on a computer everytime I want to read my inbox messages.
Just upgraded from the 8330m to 9650 and am not receiving any MMS messages. The settings show Multimedia Reception & Automatic Retrieval to "always" but none are coming thru from my sister, who is not on a BB and a different carrier. Then I tested from a Curve 8330m on Sprint and they all hang up with the clock icon
UPDATE/ Work Around May 25,2010: I ended up calling Sprint and they had me use the Update Profile option which corrected part of the issue. Mind you, the problem was *only* when sending/receiving MMS messages with other Sprint customers.
I can now send/receive MMS messages with other Sprint customers ONLY if I go thru Media > Pictures. > Send/Share Using > MMS. If I go to SMS/MMS and "Compose MMS" then attach a picture/video, etc., the message appears have have been broadcast and sent out on the system but never actually goes through to the recipient. I'm running the Bold 9650 since Thursday (5/20/2010) & figured it was device related until further testing on my BF's Curve 8330m which has the same issue. As of right now he can only send/receive MMS from other Sprint customers via the method I mentioned in the paragraph above. This was never an issue before my upgrading to my phone so I figured it was a device problem but neither of us have any problem sending or receiving MMS messages with people on any other carriers - we can go to "Compose MMS" and attach a picture which the recipient receives w/o issue.
So, the issue hasn't been "solved" but at least now the MMS functionality has been restored by using the method described above.

Now all of a sudden, when i switch the phone on, java script error msg's appear, also which is most frustrating,, my inbox icon has disappeared & i cant send or receive messages. View 2 Replies View Relatedim having a problem with sending text sms messages. When isend these messages i get a check mark showing they have been sent. Why should i assume otherwise? And then i hear from multiple people that they received them at 4am or the next day or even just 30 minutes later and out of order. I even tested this with a friend sitting side by side. Out of 3 text messages sent, he only got the 2nd one and didnt receive any of the others. I read on another forum that it might be because my sim card might be old? Is this the knly possible explanation? It is probably at least 4-5 yrs old since i just get new phones but keep my sim card.

When I select View Folder and select SMS Inbox I can see all my SMS messages up until current.Does anyone know how to fix the corrupt SMS/MMS icon (which is presumably pointing to a corrupt view of the SMS Inbox)?
