Jul 22, 2011When placing a phone call the Droid Pro seems to dial the number then as connection is being made it automatically ends the call. Then it automatically redials the number and it connects properly. This was acceptable until I tried to use the blue tooth connection in my car. How do I fix this?

Jul 30, 2012I have bought a new Unlocked 9650 smartphone from Amazon.com. I have AT&T gophone connection. Now, i am not able to make & receive any calls, everytime i try to call a number it shows an error message:- Congestion. Also, on top of my caller screen it shows a different number than mine.When i go to Advance system settings>SIM Card, it does shows my number BUT in Service Status it shows a different number. contacted one AT&T outlet and they say that it is a used phone not the new one because the number it shows belongs to the old user and the network my phone is showing is Edge which is not supportive in my Gophone scheme. I called up the number which is showing in my phone but the person says that he never owned or sold any phone.

Nov 7, 2011I recently "upgraded" to Blackberry 6 OS on my 9650 Bold. I don't like the way my sent messages show up in my inbox and would like to change this. I figure I would have to do this in Options, but when I click on Option while I'm in the Inbox, nothing happens - just goes back to the inbox. I've tried resetting my device, pulling the battery, etc. to no avail.

I bought a BB 9650 unlocked from Verizon, and i am using it in Canada with Fido, and when i get phone calls from people, it shows up as unknown number, but i realize i have these people numbers stored on my contact list super weird.

Aug 13, 2010I'm a brand new owner of a 9650 and I'm stumped on trying to change a setting. Currently my phone rings only once before it goes to voice mail. I have looked all over the device to find how to increase the number and can't find it anywhere. I have checked sound profiles and see no option to do so. The manual for the 9650 says it's an issue with my provider. My carrier, Verizon, has been no help. This was not an issue with my old phone and I assumed it would be the same during the transisition to the new one. No go.

I input all of my phone numbers in Outlook in the following format: (XXX) XXX-XXXX, but when I receive an incoming phone call on the home screen the numbers appear as XXXXXXXXXX (name is correct). When I look on the call log, they appear correctly and when I check my address book in the device, they appear correctly.I only sync one way - from Outlook to the Device. How do I get them to appear in the correct 10 digit phone number format with parentheses and hyphen?I had another Bold before this and had no issues with this at all. I am wondering if I need to use the Backup and Restore feature in the DTM to delete the address book completely and start again.

Example let's say I am calling my doctors office. Their recorded message will say" press 1 for refill press 2 for nurse press 3 to schedule an appointment. When I press the "1" THAT number does not show up on my phone screen. It sure would be nice to see what numbers you are dialing in. What am I doing wrong?

Jan 1, 2013I have had to reset my phone using the factory reset option after it started doing some strange things. This is the second time I have had problems - the first after installing a few apps (only 2 - a free pool game and a free solitaire game), the second was after my niece surfed some possibly suss sites looking for Santa jokes! It may also have been installed apps causing the problems - I installed the app for the NSW Live Traffic.
So now, as soon as I make/dial/place a call (hit the green phone), the screen closes or goes black, and I have to press the power button to reactivate the screen. If I do this quickly, the actual screen lock has not yet activated, but if I do it after a few seconds I also need to swipe.
I cannot locate any setting which seems to be causing this. Last time I factory reset the phone, I didn't get this issue, so it may be something which is still installed which is causing the problem. I have tried uninstalling the NSW Live Traffic app plus anything else which wasn't part of the phone's operating system.

Dec 3, 2015Former Samsung Note user. Not sure if this is a Samsung or Android feature but when I finish a call, the Note made a short and quiet chime. This is useful because I can tell that a call did in fact end as opposed to it still going on when I thought I had ended the call and the person on the other being able to hear what's going on until I find out.
