Jul 3, 2012My iPhone has started decreasing the volume of songs right at the beginning of the song. Within the first second or two of the song, the volume will decrease. Not completely muted, but enough so that you have to turn up the volume on the phone or the speakers if you want to maintain your regular listening volume. It's not every song, so when I encounter a song that gets slightly muted, and I increase the volume to compensate, the next song might come blaring out at regular volume. I have noticed this in my car via bluetooth, in my headphones, through the phone speakers, and through the external speakers I connect to (iHome alarm clock, etc). I have had the phone for about a year and the issue just started in the last few weeks. I have not been able to establish any kind of pattern (i.e. certain artists or albums or purchase methods) for the songs that get decreased.

May 7, 2015Every app I am in, whenever I get an interruption like the alarm going on, when i turn it off, the app refreshes and goes back to the beginning. So if I am using the browser to post something over the internet and the alarm turns on, when i turn it off, my page will refresh and i will loose everything i wrote.
It is the same when using the menu. If i go to a specific tab, and then to a sub-tab, whenever i press the back button, i return to the beginnig of the menu, to the quick settings tab.
Another example, if im using any app, i get a message from whatsapp, if i read it and go to whatsapp to reply, when i get back to the app, it refreshes and goes back to the beginning It's really bugging and i don't think it is normal.

Jun 14, 2012So I just got an iPhone yesterday , to make an apple ID I used my email address.It told me the email is already in use , even though I never made an apple ID before but anyway it told me to change the password for it ,So I went and did that but it seemed like somebody else had been already using my email address as their apple ID because when I went into manage account , firstly the name was totally different , the address was Canada's and a phone number was there too and security questions were asked in French.Now that sort of freaked me out, has someone hacked my email address or what ? And why would they use my email address as their apple ID why couldn't they use their own ? Btw I didn't change any information on the account yet just Incase I had to report it to apple ( and I'm still not able to use it as my apple ID)

Aug 19, 2015Since the last update (August 2015), whenever I type some letters letters (one, sometimes 2) from the beginning of the word disappear before I can finish typing the word. This causes autocomplete to think I'm typing a completely different word.
E.g., I tried to type "think" - the "t" disappeared by the time I had gotten to the "i"(despite it initially appearing initially), making the phone think that the word is starting with "h", and leading to issues when I press space (despite typing think perfectly, the phone autocorrected to the nearest matching word starting with H as "h" was now the beginning letter)
This has only been an issue since updating my phone this week. I thought it might have been the swipe function messing up, but turning that off, it's still causing me issues when I type normally.

Apr 18, 2012I have an IMAC, 2008 intel model. It accepts all DVDs I have but will not load some DVD's I just had made from VHS tapes. The company says that their MACs load the discs ok and they local apple store loads them ok. They also load on my windows XP machine ok. But on my IMAC they go in the slot grind a little and then are ejected again. Anybody got a solution to this?

May 14, 2010My phone was slowing down, so i restored it and chose the wrong backup (i did not see the backup that was made today). I option+clicked the restore button to point it to the backup that was made today, but when i go to the "/Users/username/Library/Application Support/MobileSync/backup" folder there are no clickable files to select. Am I looking in the right place? How do I restore from that most recent backup? I would like to do it without having to completely restore my phone again.

Aug 19, 2014I have got the iphone 5 - 7.1.2 software update and I managed to go as far as making a custom made ringtone that shows in itunes as an m4r.
When I try to sync my phone it doesn't pick up the ringtones tho. I tried unchecking and syncing and then checking and syncing again but its not working.
I also can not choose to manually sync my phone. Whenever I click the button for it it disappears.

Jul 23, 2015I use Spotify as my music app, every time I set a playlist going and skip the track, at the beginning of the next song either the sound volume drops slightly or a different EQ setting kicks in as the sound changes slightly, it happens within a split second of the song starting.
If I let the song play to the end and the next song comes on automatically it doesn't happen.
