View 4 Replies View RelatedI use Spotify as my music app, every time I set a playlist going and skip the track, at the beginning of the next song either the sound volume drops slightly or a different EQ setting kicks in as the sound changes slightly, it happens within a split second of the song starting.
If I let the song play to the end and the next song comes on automatically it doesn't happen.
After trying to update my C7 to the latest Symbian Anna software on my PC from OVI suite, the installation when halfway through suddenly stopped and would not complete. The handset now does not power on at all. You feel a vibrate when pressing the power button, but the phone does not boot. Tried taking battery off, re-installing but still no joy.

View 1 Replies View RelatedOvi Maps 3.04 seems to work well on my E72. At first I got spoken navigation instructions, both from the phone speaker and a connected Bluetooth device SuperTooth. Somehow these instructions disappeared and a symbol, a faint crossed-out loudspeaker, appeared in the top right hand side of the screen. So I probably inadvertently switched off the spoken instructions, but I cannot find how to switch them back on. The manual doesn't mention the possibility nor the symbol.

My cell is out of warranty. I have two Nokia C5, the sound of the other one with firmware version 062.001 is pretty good.

I noticed that when making or receiving a call, even with the volume set to 10 bars, when someone is standing next to me, he cannot hear the voice of the one am talking to. My friend has C3-00 with firmware V8-63, when he receives or makes a call, when you are standing next to him, you can hear the voice of the person he is talking to and you can reduce the volume in order for somone next to you not to ehar what you are discussion. Is it about the firmware or is it just my phone?I want to know so if I have to reverse back to V8.63 by flashing the phone or maintaining V8.71.

After a day or two of use the flashlight came on and I can't get it off (unless I remove the battery). I am not sure if it is related to the firmware update or some other issue. The phone seems to operate fine apart from this. I have reinstalled V06.05 but the light is still on.

The connection is there alricht: when switching on the loudspeaker I can hear, but not anymore when switched back to phone. I have reinstalled software with Ovi-suite without solution. And went to the Nokia Care centre: it worked for a week, and again same problem. Does anybody know more about this? Is it a mechanical failure or lose contact? Is this a known failure with C5-03, or other symbian phones, and most important is there a structural solution?

Unfortunately i lost it somehow which lead me to buy c6-00 but now i m having a worst time while using the cell... View 2 Replies View RelatedI DON'T want anything but NOKIA for my too-many-sim-problem (4 phones carrying at this time!).Bought C2-00 recently hopeing that I will be happyer with my 2 bussines number's (from 2 countries) being able to conect to Parrot CK3100 car-kit. But happines was premature, since C2-00 was unable to deliver decent sound level (I CAN NOT HEAR WHAT PEOPLE ON THE OTHER SIDE OF PHONE CONNECTION R SAYNIG!, changde first C2-00 for another one, also bought sim-free with original Nokia 2-year warranty) thru pre-built-in speakers in my Skoda Octavia. But in exactly same car with exactly same car-kit with exactly same settings and exactly same volume level my Nokia X6 or my Nokia N8 or my Nokia C5-00 deliver flawless volume level coming from people I'm talking to.
Btw same two C2-00 also delivered VERY -VERY poor volume level thru earpiece-speaker, and when I turned d volume up it was like my speaker-phone was ON (which in every situation was not) - everybody around me could clearly hear what was the other person whom I was talking to said.
I am trying to download movies from direct download sites. It is giving me Open/Save option. When I am trying to save it, the download shows complete at the start itself at 0.0 B/S.And after that the BB hangs for an indefinite time untill I restart the mobile using alt+shift+del.

View 4 Replies View RelatedMy iPhone has started decreasing the volume of songs right at the beginning of the song. Within the first second or two of the song, the volume will decrease. Not completely muted, but enough so that you have to turn up the volume on the phone or the speakers if you want to maintain your regular listening volume. It's not every song, so when I encounter a song that gets slightly muted, and I increase the volume to compensate, the next song might come blaring out at regular volume. I have noticed this in my car via bluetooth, in my headphones, through the phone speakers, and through the external speakers I connect to (iHome alarm clock, etc). I have had the phone for about a year and the issue just started in the last few weeks. I have not been able to establish any kind of pattern (i.e. certain artists or albums or purchase methods) for the songs that get decreased.

I am a long time Nokia user. My previous mobile phone was a model 3310 which I had from 2001 and it died only a few months ago. That phone served its primary function well - making and receiving phone calls. So I needed a new mobile. To my dismay it is almosty impossible to find a normal mobile phone which is just a phone. I selected the C5-00 5MP as it is closest to what I need (although it too is loaded with too much junk) and I wanted to stay with the Nokia brand.
- why does the display switch off when the phone is not being used? How do I know if the phone is on or off? The 3310's display was always showing something when it was on
- how to delete the wallpaper? My phone is a functional device not a piece of art. I can't find anywhere the option 'no wallpaper"
- why can't I remove the functions I don't intend to use? maps, internet, e-mails radio etc are not required
Every app I am in, whenever I get an interruption like the alarm going on, when i turn it off, the app refreshes and goes back to the beginning. So if I am using the browser to post something over the internet and the alarm turns on, when i turn it off, my page will refresh and i will loose everything i wrote.
It is the same when using the menu. If i go to a specific tab, and then to a sub-tab, whenever i press the back button, i return to the beginnig of the menu, to the quick settings tab.
Another example, if im using any app, i get a message from whatsapp, if i read it and go to whatsapp to reply, when i get back to the app, it refreshes and goes back to the beginning It's really bugging and i don't think it is normal.

View 8 Replies View RelatedSince the last update (August 2015), whenever I type some letters letters (one, sometimes 2) from the beginning of the word disappear before I can finish typing the word. This causes autocomplete to think I'm typing a completely different word.
E.g., I tried to type "think" - the "t" disappeared by the time I had gotten to the "i"(despite it initially appearing initially), making the phone think that the word is starting with "h", and leading to issues when I press space (despite typing think perfectly, the phone autocorrected to the nearest matching word starting with H as "h" was now the beginning letter)
This has only been an issue since updating my phone this week. I thought it might have been the swipe function messing up, but turning that off, it's still causing me issues when I type normally.
How do I turn on viewing of timestamp of all SMS/iMessages rather just the one in the beginning of each conversation? If currently not in iOS, which version will it become available and when is that version released?
