View 3 RepliesI have recently updated the firmware on my Nokia C3-01 to the latest version V06.05. After a day or two of use the flashlight came on and I can't get it off (unless I remove the battery). I am not sure if it is related to the firmware update or some other issue. The phone seems to operate fine apart from this. I have reinstalled V06.05 but the light is still on.
View 2 Replies View RelatedAfter trying to update my C7 to the latest Symbian Anna software on my PC from OVI suite, the installation when halfway through suddenly stopped and would not complete. The handset now does not power on at all. You feel a vibrate when pressing the power button, but the phone does not boot. Tried taking battery off, re-installing but still no joy.

I am a long time Nokia user. My previous mobile phone was a model 3310 which I had from 2001 and it died only a few months ago. That phone served its primary function well - making and receiving phone calls. So I needed a new mobile. To my dismay it is almosty impossible to find a normal mobile phone which is just a phone. I selected the C5-00 5MP as it is closest to what I need (although it too is loaded with too much junk) and I wanted to stay with the Nokia brand.
- why does the display switch off when the phone is not being used? How do I know if the phone is on or off? The 3310's display was always showing something when it was on
- how to delete the wallpaper? My phone is a functional device not a piece of art. I can't find anywhere the option 'no wallpaper"
- why can't I remove the functions I don't intend to use? maps, internet, e-mails radio etc are not required
Is there a button to switch off Blackberry 9700 instead of going to Main Menu, then select "Switch off" icon?

I let the phone deplete its battery which didn't take very long but the problem persists.

I have an iPhone 4s (Verizon). I had recently purchased what was described as an OEM screen plus LCD after I had cracked my factory screen. After replacing the screen and LCD such features as the side volume controls, vibrate switch, and proximity switch (dimming after accepting a call) have stopped working. I double checked to see that all of the connectors were pushed on correctly and they were. Is it possible this may not be an OEM screen and causing the problem or is there a piece of the hardware that I may have damaged that controls all of these functions (i.e. motherboard)?

So of course there's switch mode from work and "play". I have this issue where when I switch from one the theme changes and if I switch back the theme doesn't change. I thought this would be fix, but I guess I was the only one with this issue. Just updated to .54. I'm of course not going to do anything about it I'll just work with it. Seeing that nothing else is wrong with my phone but that. Which is GOOD. Anyway wanted to see if and one else has this issue. I can get to the "switch application" option by pushing on the BB key, but nothing happens after. Is it a setting issue on my device or a limitation of the locked phone?

View 1 Replies View RelatedI bought my nexus phone recently. The phone used to become a little hot and it became worse after the updates. I have restored it to previous version and also have changed the battery. This went on for a few more days. Now my nexus 5 doesn't switch on and neither does it indicate that the battery is charging even after I keep it plugged on for a long time. I've done everything possible. Even the service centre couldn't come up with the solution.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI bought a new Xperia Z3 from Canadian carrier Wind Mobile. They do not have LTE service. After 3 weeks of horrible service, I bought the phone out, and moved over to Virgin Mobile, (which does have LTE), I had My Z3 unlocked, put in the proper APN, and the phone will not switch to LTE, in fact there is not even an option to switch to it. (in Settings, more, mobile network, network mode). I went into (*#*#7378423#*#*) Service settings, network mode.

I bought a Verizon Bold 9900 and it's been working wonderfully well for the first 4 months. A few days ago I connected my phone to my laptop and did a sync on blackberry desktop manager. I think I might have also updated the software of the phone. But the basic intention was to backup my data (which hung half way). I woke up the next morning and my phone was switched off. Whatever I try, the phone only blinks red every few seconds but does not switch back on. I have tried using my friends bold 9900 battery but that didnt work either (so battery is not the problem). I am afraid this might be a software problem. Now I can't get this phone replaced from Verizon and need a fix because I really can't afford to purchase another phone like it!

I am using Nokia E71. For past few days I am facing this problem - The phone restarts when I try to switch it off or change the profile. Suppose I am in general profile and I press power button to change the profile, the switch off option and the profile list will be displayed for a second and then the phone restarts... I have tried all the options like upgrading firmware and formatting and restoring the phone.. but no use.
