It will not let me reload my previous blackberry address, wants to add a 1, 2, or a 3 to my name. I guess I need to ell the Blackberry server my new device.

I can get to the "switch application" option by pushing on the BB key, but nothing happens after. Is it a setting issue on my device or a limitation of the locked phone?

BB Bold :: 9900 - Phone Won't Switch Back On
Jul 31, 2012I bought a Verizon Bold 9900 and it's been working wonderfully well for the first 4 months. A few days ago I connected my phone to my laptop and did a sync on blackberry desktop manager. I think I might have also updated the software of the phone. But the basic intention was to backup my data (which hung half way). I woke up the next morning and my phone was switched off. Whatever I try, the phone only blinks red every few seconds but does not switch back on. I have tried using my friends bold 9900 battery but that didnt work either (so battery is not the problem). I am afraid this might be a software problem. Now I can't get this phone replaced from Verizon and need a fix because I really can't afford to purchase another phone like it!

Sep 4, 2011I have been using my BB9780 on a local Malaysia service provider for the last 3 months with no problems at all on the emails and all data services for BB. However, recently when I was traveling overseas, I did a SIM card swipe on my BB9780 with the local carrier where I was during my trip. When I get back from the trip, I could not re-activate or verify back the email services on my BB9780 and it keeps giving me the error "Sorry, unable to continue your session. Please log in again."

May 14, 2010I use gmail and when I delete an email on the web, it doesn't delete on my BB. The same goes for when I open an email on the web, it doesn't show 'read' on my BB. Interestingly though, if I delete or read an email on my BB, the action is reciprocated on the web.And finally, if I send myself an email (either from the web or my BB), it appears on the web but not on my BB.

Dec 2, 2011I got a RAZR a couple of weeks ago for my wife, and I made a mistake setting it up. I setup the email app instead of the gmail app. Now all the emails are going only to the phone, so unless the laptop is left on all the time (we use google apps sync to outlook), it never gets any emails.
How do I get these emails back to gmail? Can I mass forward these emails back out somehow? I can forward one at a time, and I can save to the sd messaging folder one at a time.
