BB Bold :: The Back Key Acting As Switch App Button
Oct 25, 2011I just got my BB bold 9930 yesterday, and when I open amail, cannot return back to the inbox. The return button open an overlay like the Swicth app button. I have to press the BB key and scroll down to close before I can get out of anything I open. If there is no close option, then I have to shut down but removing the battery to get rid of it and have the return key working for a while.

Jan 26, 2010Installed vlingo but later uninstalled. Now there is no "Switch Application" when clicking BB button and scrolling to bottom of list like there use to be? Is there an option for this? I know there are other ways to get to switch application but I would like this option back as well.

Jun 25, 2010i've had this happen to my 8900, and thought there was something wrong with the phone, but after doing a official update from t-mobile on mt 9700 the same thing happens. whe doing a battery pull and the phone reboots. only on the main screen (the screen with all the apps and folders) the screen is completely blank or white and the only way i can see the folders or apps is by highlighting them. only happened after i updated it and only happens when doing a battery pull, once i reset the wall paper it will be fine until i do another battery pull. i already uninstalled and reinstalled my blackberry desktop and try to reload and that didn't fix it. anyone had this issue or know how to fix it.

Jan 11, 2012I have a blackberry 9700 I've had it for 16 months now. I would say its in the best condition but it was working fine until all of a sudden it switched off. I tried taking out the battery it didn't work I bought a new battery that was fully charged and still nothing happened not even the red light. I have put on charge for a about 1 hour or more some times for the past 4 days and still there isn't any responds. I have taken the battery out for a few hours as well and placed into the phone again and still nothing.

Oct 31, 2010my blackberry bold 9700 which is only about 3 months old, went completely flat this morning, i put it on charge (and its been charging for about 4 hours now) the screen is black, then the red led light comes on, then after a few seconds the horitzontal blackberry line comes on, it gets about 1/4 of the way then it switches off and starts again. i have alt+shift+delete a couple times, i have battery pulled about 20 times, it just continues doing it

Jan 29, 2010I'm switching from an 8800 to the 9700. When I connected the 8800, whatever it did took a few minutes (it has you connect the old device). Then I connected the 9700 as it asked me to, and that was at least an hour and 15 minutes ago. It says "Task in progress", and on the progress bar it has not moved a millimeter. Like, nothing. I have maybe 30-40 contacts and no extra software, and 3 messenger contacts.

Nov 3, 2011Recently the data on my 9700 will not switch from WiFi to cellular. If it's attached to a WiFi network, everything works fine. However when I leave that network and the BB needs to use EDGE/3G it does nothing. It will not even attempt to transmit or receive unless I do a battery pull. If I leave WiFi off, everything works fine. It is now running OS v6.0.0.668 by AT&T. I just updated to this OS in hopes that it would fix the issue, but no luck.

I have tried going in the app and then clicking "close" in the menu, the end call key and nothing seems to work. Some applications have the word "exit" on their menus and that seems to do the trick for some and but not all.

May 9, 2012I have an iPhone 4s (Verizon). I had recently purchased what was described as an OEM screen plus LCD after I had cracked my factory screen. After replacing the screen and LCD such features as the side volume controls, vibrate switch, and proximity switch (dimming after accepting a call) have stopped working. I double checked to see that all of the connectors were pushed on correctly and they were. Is it possible this may not be an OEM screen and causing the problem or is there a piece of the hardware that I may have damaged that controls all of these functions (i.e. motherboard)?

Apr 9, 2011So of course there's switch mode from work and "play". I have this issue where when I switch from one the theme changes and if I switch back the theme doesn't change. I thought this would be fix, but I guess I was the only one with this issue. Just updated to .54. I'm of course not going to do anything about it I'll just work with it. Camera worked for a while without problems, but recently I moved the camera icon in one of the corners.
After that, the camera button (after the focusing position, when pressed till the end) just turns the main menu on without taking the picture. However, camera works sometimes without problems (one in five attempts). I reinstalled the software using SEUS, but the problems still persists.
