Installed vlingo but later uninstalled. Now there is no "Switch Application" when clicking BB button and scrolling to bottom of list like there use to be? Is there an option for this? I know there are other ways to get to switch application but I would like this option back as well.

Says "exceeded available storage" (124.5 mb), which is unchaged even after I deleted several large apps from the BB and rebooted. How do I get the application loader to work?

It started to stop working, so I ordered a new dome as well as a colored trackball as long as I was ordering things.Got parts today, replaced the trackball and the dome, and still no clicking. Could I have not put the dome in perfectly centered? Does that likely mean that the dome is not my problem?
I've gotten used to using the enter key for everything, but some things will not accept that. The option menus just go to the next line when you push enter instead of letting you change the option, the new Google Maps won't accept any input on the initial change permissions screen except a trackball click, so if there's anything else I could try, I'd really like to.
Well it seems like not much people encounter the clicking issue and discussed in this forum.Do you guys still able to hear the clicking sound of trackball? Do you guys force to replace the dome button?

But am hoping that some blackberry profesionals actualy go on the forums sometimes.Firstly is there anyway to contact someone who really knows something about the device. correct me if im wrong but if we could talk to the people who made the device they would for sure know exactly wat is wrong with the device and be a huge help.

Any ideas on what to do. there is no fix for this error any where on the web and have only read of it happening to two different people.
I literally just got my Blackberry an hour ago. I can't find out my number.. MTS Set it up for me, I know that, but when I click the Green Phone button like all the tutorials I can find, say, it just says Unknown.

View 4 Replies View RelatedSo yesterday, my phone died completely (so that it was drained and completely off) and when I plugged it in, the red light went on and it began to load, as usual. wever, when it reached a point, not even a quarter of the bar, it stopped, switched off and restarted. This happened continuously before I unplugged it and the battery drained again.

The tries again to switch on, but keeps hitting the same point. I see that someone else had a similar problem, the difference is, is that the Desktop Manager also can't read /pick up my phone when I plug it in, so I can't follow any of the other options
View 9 Replies View RelatedI have Bold 9000 on O2, but since yesterday I have not been able to turn it on. When powered up via usb and PC or direct from mains, all i het is the red message light showing all the time and nothing else ..but sometimes it goes out and on screen is a picture of a battery with a blue zig zag flash running through it. This is a bit random, but seems to alternate between either redlight or battery outline. Plugging Bold into PC and running blackberry desktop manager does not do anything - the desktop manager does not recognise that a device has been plugged in (hence does not show PIN). Has the battery suddenly and completely died? (There were no signs of this happening before - no performance issues etc)
View 9 Replies View Relatedi've blackberry bold 9000 phone. last night i was watching videos on Internet using wifi connection. all of sudden it got stuck and i got white screen. it was around 1:03 am. i was too sleepy so didn't bother to restart the phone and just kept it aside. around at 4 am i got up and found that my bb is dead. i immediately removed battery and tried switching it on. but no luck.then i connected it to my pc using usb for charge( as i don't have wall charger).the red light glows and stays constant whenever its connected(even after i removing battery) to usb. but it don't switch on. even i have already charged (i.e.. kept it connected to my usb) for 4 to 5 hrs. but no luck.

View 1 Replies View RelatedMy touch screen has been playing up for several weeks nowWhen I try to touch the main screen it will select an area to the right of where I am touching, i.e. clicking the dial pad button will actually select the contacts button, clicking 'answer' on the keypad will put the caller on hold etc etc. Other times the scren will not respon at all.
The funny thing is, when I remove the phone's plastic casing, the touch screen works fine! Similarly, if i push the top part of the case to the sides (so it is not in contact with the digitiser) the touch screen will work again until my phone goes on lock and then when I unlock it the touch screen is stuffed again.
I'm not sure if this is a software or hardware problem. On one hand its as if the plastic casing of the phone is rubbing (putting pressure on) against the side of the touchscreen and causing it to not work (hardware) while on the other hand it could be software in that the problem keeps happening everytime the screen goes to sleep (it's not initialising right).The other problem which started at the exact same time is that the green button is not working sometimes when I try to answer calls or turn off my alarm.
Does anyone have any suggestions as to what I should try? I've already done a hard reset. The next step is to buy a new digitizer/plastic case and see if that solves the problem.
o i'm using only 2 languages, and every time i want to switch using "alt+del", i have to scroll all the way down to hebrew, and then back to english. is there a faster way of doing so? and if there isn't, can i make my second best language option to be top in the list of languages when i switch?

The benefit of this was that I could never forget to switch back to normal. For example at the beginning of a meeting with an estimated duration of 2 hours, I would program the phone to a 2 hours silent period and after that it would switch back to normal. This was so handy. Is that possible at my BlackBerry 9000?

View 7 Replies View RelatedI just got my BB bold 9930 yesterday, and when I open amail, cannot return back to the inbox. The return button open an overlay like the Swicth app button. I have to press the BB key and scroll down to close before I can get out of anything I open. If there is no close option, then I have to shut down but removing the battery to get rid of it and have the return key working for a while.

I have only downloaded FB application and google maps. maps I use occassionaly while FB is always on. I have deleted all games but it doesnt help. Once application memory falls below 10mb handset slows down.

Its hardly 128 mb, and after installing the latest OS 5, I hardly have 15 mb left for apps.I can't even install some required OS upgrades of 35 mb cause of it. View 11 Replies View RelatedI upgraded my OS to an official version 5 around 3 months ago and ever since I did that, my application memory seems to be really crap. Initially I had around 26-30mbs of application memory right after a Quickpull but now I only have around 2-4mb of app memory. It's really frustrating as using my usual apps such as Viigo, Facebook, Msn, Google Maps etc have become a pain and almost impossible to load. And I haven't installed any new applications in case you were wondering.
I have contemplated to downgrade my OS back to version 4 but was wondering if anyone here has encountered this problem and could offer any sort of solution.
I recently updated my OS from 4.7 to 5.0 but now I noticed that my Lock application is missing. Even the shortcut "L" does not function. How do I get it back?
