BB Bold :: Email Activation After SIM Card Change?
Sep 4, 2011
I have been using my BB9780 on a local Malaysia service provider for the last 3 months with no problems at all on the emails and all data services for BB. However, recently when I was traveling overseas, I did a SIM card swipe on my BB9780 with the local carrier where I was during my trip. When I get back from the trip, I could not re-activate or verify back the email services on my BB9780 and it keeps giving me the error "Sorry, unable to continue your session. Please log in again."
How do I go about in activating back my email services for my BB9780?

I bought a second hand Blackberry Bold 9000 on ebay and I would like to setup my email account, but it ask for an Enterprise Activation password which I don't know where to find? It also says: "Contact your system administrator to find out wether an Enterprise Activation password will be provided, or if you need to install the BlackBerry Desktop Software. Who would be my system administrator and what steps should I take next to ensure the email is setup?

I have a problem with my email accounts on my device. I unlocked the phone through my provider and used it with another SIM while I was abroad. All worked fine. When I switched the UK SIM into my phone, the emails that were registred on my device were not working.I went to Setup, selected Email Accounts (Internet Mail Account), entered the page "Email Account Activation" where my email address is saved.I clicked on it, added my password and clicked on verify. A page opens snd says: "Sorry, unable to continue your session. Please log in again."I tried to reboot the device several times and it is always the same.

I have 2 email accounts but I predominantly use my Yahoo one. However, if I open my Yahoo emails on the Blackberry and select 'Compose email' it will automatically send my email from my 'Default email' which is my other email address. I can of course change the 'send from...' setting but I often forget which is annoying when the email has already gone. I have tried all ways to change the 'Default email' setting but I can't find out a way of doing this.
I switched from a BlackBerry Curve 9300 to BlackBerry Bold 9900 using the BlackBerry Desktop Software and for some strange reason I can't receive or send E-mails or even change the E-mail Address. 9700 Rogers wireless V5.0. The only option available for e-mail in setup is "I want to use a work email account with BES" and it's pre-checked. I've searched through the knowledge base and deleted CMIME and CICAL from the service book. However I'm running Desktop 6.0 (latest version) on Windows 7, and the knowledge base instructions for change at the desktop are only for versions 3 through 5. I can't find any for V6. So far no change to the device setup menu.
I have three email addresses in my blackberry, one appears as the default...does not allow selection of either of the other two. How can I change all my calendar events and the default to one of the other email addresses vs. the one that displays by default now?
When i first got my bb9700 i added my hotmail account and everything was working fine but i deleted my mistake and now when i tryed adding it again i get this msg sent to my phone. If you use an email client (e.g. Microsoft(R) Outlook(R), Mozilla(R) Thunderbird(TM), etc.) to access your avibassi91@hotmail.com messages, change your email client settings to leave your email messages on the server. If the email client does not leave email messages on the server, the BlackBerry(R) Internet Service may not be able to deliver them to your BlackBerry(R) device. To leave email messages on your email server you may need to complete the following steps:
1. In your email client (Outlook, Thunderbird, etc.) on your computer, under Tools or Mail > Preferences. 2. Select your email account. 3. Locate advanced, server settings or options. 4. Select the option to leave email messages on the server.
Refer to your email client help for more information. Sent from my BlackBerry device on the Rogers Wireless Network I cant find my own email icon on my blackberry screen but some of my msgs still get sent to my blackberry msg icon. im not that good with blackberrys and computers

The information you provided is incorrect" What am I doing wrong?
After I set the date of my BB Bold 9000 to 6 July 2015 I lost all previously received email messages and text messages. It is amazing that this can happen without any warning. This is definitely not the first time I'm loosing all my data. It's so frustrating that I'm considering strongly to leave BlackBerry and switch to another make. Also a helpdesk you can call to and speak to a real person seems to be not in place at BlackBerry. Maybe they hate customers?
