Aug 5, 2011I bought a used DROID X from a friend to use only with Wi-Fi, not with Verizon service. It worked fine with only Wi-Fi even though it had no service. I did a Factory Reset to wipe it clean. Now when it comes up it goes to the activation screen and will not go past it, forcing activation to continue. I do not wish to activate the phone with Verizon, only use it with Wi-Fi. Does anyone know how I can get the phone back to working with Wi-Fi only? Is there an Android ROM version I can download from somewhere and load on this phone so that it does not force activation?

Sep 4, 2011I have been using my BB9780 on a local Malaysia service provider for the last 3 months with no problems at all on the emails and all data services for BB. However, recently when I was traveling overseas, I did a SIM card swipe on my BB9780 with the local carrier where I was during my trip. When I get back from the trip, I could not re-activate or verify back the email services on my BB9780 and it keeps giving me the error "Sorry, unable to continue your session. Please log in again."
How do I go about in activating back my email services for my BB9780?

After sliding the camera button and getting into the camera, simply pressing the button takes you right into the phone without ever having to enter your password. This is a major problem! Phone's language is not English, but I guess it's some phone lock or so. Tried all codes I've ever used and none of them works, I feel really dumb, because I don't even remember myself enabling such a codes, because I've always liked phones to boot up fast, not even using PIN. So I'd like to know how can I get rid of this code. Of course, I'm trying to find original manual and papers from when i bought this phone(no luck yet), but as warranty is over already, I don't think that it's gonna be for free, nor cheap.
