LG :: 8300 Is There Way To Bypass Lock Code Without Resetting It?
Jan 26, 2010
My friend's dad has an LG 8300 and her younger sister is breaking into it and sending text messages without permission. Is there a way to bypass the lock code without resetting it? It appears she is getting into it without resetting anything and doesn't seem to be just brute forcing the code since she does it kind of quick.
someone thought that it would be funny to lock me out of my iphone 4s. I have not backed up my phone to itunes the only thing i want are my contacts. so basically i am asking for help to log in and see my contacts so that i may wright them down and reset my phone.
Info: iPhone 4S, im trying to to have to reset it.
I don't miss a lot of things about my moto x, but I do miss that you could access the home screen by just pressing the power/side button, so long it was within the time frame that the screen automatically locked. Is there a way to do that on the galaxy s6? I hate to have to swipe the lock screen every time, if I need to access the phone again within the period that the screen does not automatically lock.
Got a problem with phone lock. After 2 years of not using this phone had to return to it because of issues with current phone, and after entering PIN, it asks for some code. Phone's language is not English, but I guess it's some phone lock or so. Tried all codes I've ever used and none of them works, I feel really dumb, because I don't even remember myself enabling such a codes, because I've always liked phones to boot up fast, not even using PIN. So I'd like to know how can I get rid of this code. Of course, I'm trying to find original manual and papers from when i bought this phone(no luck yet), but as warranty is over already, I don't think that it's gonna be for free, nor cheap.
With the new update, the new slide-camera-button-to-activate-camera feature has a major downfall... you are able to completely bypass entering you password and access all the phone information! After sliding the camera button and getting into the camera, simply pressing the button takes you right into the phone without ever having to enter your password. This is a major problem! Anyone know how to deactivate that camera feature or simply a way to prevent access to my phone?
I am having an issue where i receive the standard unlock screen even though I have a password configured. If I use the slide menu I am never prompted for my password. There are also times when the normal unlock screen will flash up and then go straight to my password.
Current configuration: PIN, lock screen after 5 sec, lock immediatly on power press.
This only happens when I allow the screen to go to sleep on it's own. If i press the power button I am not seeing the issue.
I had to try hard reset my nokia 5530 after resetting with the code *#7370#, its not even starting properly and showing the errors sometimes like popupclock: already in use.
We've discussed before that Keep Awake and Location are the primary permissions to block with Access Lock. There are quite a few apps that have those permissions active that simply do not need them. Why does ES File Explorer need to know my Location for what it does?As a group we've worked through a lot of the whittling down for battery saving and smooth use of the G4 over the past few months. I'm now circling back to some things to see if I can't tighten things up even more.
So, what are some of the other permsissions we should perhaps disable by default (unless they are very obviously needed)? What does the WiFi Change (or Bluetooth Change) permission do? Or, more to the point, what potentially happens if I disable that permission?I figure there aren't a lot of things beyond Keep Awake and Location that are big battery eaters, but what say ye?
I continue to get the error message listed in the subject each time I try to sync me device with my computer. I tried uninstalling all of my Blackberry software, then re-installing and I still contine to get the error message (which makes me thing it is an issue with my phone).
I need a way to lock and unlock the keyboard. I have searched a number of websites for an answer to my dilema and it seems several methods are mentioned but none work for me. I need to lock the keyboard when phone is in my pocket.
im using nokia n79, after i restore the factory setting the phone didnt accept the lock code, before i restore the phone i was using the default lock code with out any problems!
Soon I made the update to v 31.0.101 (31.01.101.202.05).
The problem is that i cannot use now the lock code. I try 12345, because I did not change it never before. But the phone doesn't accept any lock code, it always say failure!
So, I cannot change or use the lock code of the phone.
[I did not try to use the lock code before the update, so I don't know if the problem was before too.]
[One strange thing: If I try another numbers differents of 12345, the fifth time the phone says wait 5 minutes; but if I try 12345, I can try it lots of times, never say wait 5 minutes]
[I suposse 12345 goes on being the right code, but the phone accept NO code]
After not using my phone for a while, I forgot my lock code. I did a hard reset after removing battery for 10 minutes, and the phone was runing for some time - the lock code remained unkown but it booted, before it wanted the lock code to boot off, but after this my stupid head decided to update the phone - causing it to restart, and even worst now it not only again ask for the unknown lock code at boot, it also can't hard reset by the Green key,Red key, camera button switch on method + 10 minutes w/o battery. I can provide the IMEI from the box, if it will be of any use.
I just set up my Corporate Sync account with my Exchange Server. My D2 insists on locking every 15 minutes (requiring passcode), even though the ActiveSync Policy is set for "Not require password." When I go to Settings/Screen Lock the "None" and "Pattern" options are greyed out with the message "Disabled by remote phone administrator."
I've tried creating a new policy and linking my account, installing NoLock (didn't work).
