Feb 11, 2010Can anyone enlighten me on how to change the status bar so it can include a logo (beside carrier) like I've seen on several posts (apple logo, oo7 logo, etc).
I tried SupremeSettings but that only let me change the carrier text and also proved to be quite conflicting with other apps until I removed it. I'm running 3.1.2 so some older mods don't work either.

Pre-ordered through Apple got the June 24th date.I never got a confirmation email, and my CC has never been charged, but when I go to Apple Store website my order status reflects the two phones ordered each with a unique Apple order number.

Jan 27, 2010My internet provider changed protocol for username for email account. Changed on computers successfully, not able to do it on BlackberryBold 9900. I went to email accounts, highlighted the account, pressed menu button to change username. But there is no edit option in the menu. there is validate, delete, etc. no edit. have no idea what to do. However, recently when I was traveling overseas, I did a SIM card swipe on my BB9780 with the local carrier where I was during my trip. Aug 12, 2012I have 2 email accounts but I predominantly use my Yahoo one. However, if I open my Yahoo emails on the Blackberry and select 'Compose email' it will automatically send my email from my 'Default email' which is my other email address. I can of course change the 'send from...' setting but I often forget which is annoying when the email has already gone. I have tried all ways to change the 'Default email' setting but I can't find out a way of doing this.

I've searched through the knowledge base and deleted CMIME and CICAL from the service book. However I'm running Desktop 6.0 (latest version) on Windows 7, and the knowledge base instructions for change at the desktop are only for versions 3 through 5. I can't find any for V6. If you use an email client (e.g. Microsoft(R) Outlook(R), Mozilla(R) Thunderbird(TM), etc.) to access your avibassi91@hotmail.com messages, change your email client settings to leave your email messages on the server. If the email client does not leave email messages on the server, the BlackBerry(R) Internet Service may not be able to deliver them to your BlackBerry(R) device. To leave email messages on your email server you may need to complete the following steps:
1. In your email client (Outlook, Thunderbird, etc.) on your computer, under Tools or Mail > Preferences.
2. Select your email account.
3. Locate advanced, server settings or options.
4. Select the option to leave email messages on the server.

Jul 6, 2010After I set the date of my BB Bold 9000 to 6 July 2015 I lost all previously received email messages and text messages. It is amazing that this can happen without any warning. This is definitely not the first time I'm loosing all my data. It's so frustrating that I'm considering strongly to leave BlackBerry and switch to another make.Also a helpdesk you can call to and speak to a real person seems to be not in place at BlackBerry. Maybe they hate customers?
