View 1 RepliesWhen someone calls me and I want to answer the call by swiping the green button I got nothing even I can't end the call by swiping the red button or even by pressing the lock key. I have to wait until the caller ends the call and then I call him back.
View 1 Replies View RelatedMy galaxy s6 wont let me answer calls, it rings but doesnt even show that a calls incoming and gives me no option to answer
View 2 Replies View RelatedI have recently picked up a Galaxy S6 and have an issue with answering incoming phone calls. The phone will ring, but often when I pull it out of my pocket it the screen stays black and doesn't have an option to answer. If I unlock the phone with my fingerprint it just takes me to the home screen like normal and there is no option to answer the phone anywhere.
View 3 Replies View RelatedI have a Fritzbox 7390, and I have tried to use Fritzapp fon app so that when a call comes on land line, the mobile Samsung S5 would also ring. It does, but I can not answer the call, and have to use land line to answer it.

also, Drive mode wont say off.
After update to 5.0.2 the answer machine on my z2 will not switch off if I answer a call. This is frustrating as now when I am 20 seconds into a call the answer machine cuts in, unlike before. Is this just the new way this works with this version, or is it a phone issue?
View 7 Replies View RelatedWhen my phone rings and I swipe to answer, I can't answer it. I have no problem calling out. Have I accidently touched something and what?
View 1 Replies View RelatedI've mentioned this on another thread, but I thought I'd start a new one to see if anyone can help me with this specific problem. Briefly, the familiar tale. Phone well cared for and never dropped, keyguard slide broke off after six months, Carphone Warehouse said it was a 'cosmetic' fault and therefore not covered under the warranty and wanted £85 to repair it. nUnlock application downloaded, which resolves most issues other than answering calls. Many of us have been there. The big niggle that remains (other than the prospect of having to give in and fork out for a repair I shouldn't have to pay for) is answering calls. This is the current scenario: Phone rings. I can't answer it in the normal way due to the keyguard switch no longer being there. So I have to flip it open, at which point the screen goes blank for a couple of seconds before it comes back on in the 'sideways' configuration. In most cases, by the time the screen has come back on and I've hit the Answer key, it's gone to voicemail. It's fiddly and annoying. So. Have I missed something in the nUnlock app that disables the keyguard switch function altogether so I can answer calls properly? Is there something in the Phone Settings that I've missed that does the same thing? Or am I just going to have to go to a Nokia shop and be prepared to argue and/or fork out some cash?

View 1 Replies View RelatedIt seems that when I am connected to any WiFi network (home or work) my phone will constantly switch between 4G and WiFI. The only way I have been able to work around this issue is by disabling Mobile Data while I am on WiFi and disabling Smart Network Switch.

View 1 Replies View RelatedMy phone works perfectly except I can't answer calls, when I press answer/ignore it freezes until it goes to voicemail and then comes back. I've flashed multiple roms and had the problem with all of them. I'm not using any special themes or anything, and the only software I ever install are HD Tweak and Finger Keyboard 2.1 and my radio 1.14.25.24. Here's a list of what I've done since I had the phone:
1. Bought phone. Flashed HSPL. Flashed Laurentius L26, no problems. Was being lazy so I didn't hard reset after flashing.
2. Flashed Dutty R14. Didn't hard reset after flashing. No problems for awhile and then the problem of not being able to answer calls appeared.
3. Flashed EnergyRom wm6.5 rom. Hard reset twice after. Still having problem where I can't answer calls.
4. Flashed Dutty 3.9XT wm6.1 rom. Hard reset twice after. Still having problem where I can't answer calls.
If anyone can help me figure out why my phone is doing this I'd really appreciate it, I'll even pay you some money on PayPal if you like because I really want to fix it. Here are some ideas I had as to why it's not working:
- Problem with rom flash. No, because I tried it with 3 different roms so far and had the same problem.
- Touch HD isn't fast enough to run wm6.5 and be stable. No, because I tried it with a wm6.1 rom too and had the same problem.
- Someone suggested it might be a problem with the battery. No, because I ordered new replacement batteries and tried them and had the same problem.
- Some of the settings in HD Tweak are incompatible with something in the roms I'm using. Maybe, is this possible? I don't really change much, just the softkeys and the highlight color and things like that.
- Screwed up something in the SPL or something because I didn't hard reset after flashing the first 2 roms. Maybe, is this possible?
- Dropped my phone and somehow managed to break nothing but the mechanism involved in answering calls. Maybe, is this possible?
Today I'm going to reflash HSPL, flash the stock HTC rom, hard reset twice, and see if I still have the problem. I don't know what else to do or what other possibilities there are. If anyone can shed some light on this issue, that would be great, because I really don't want to have to buy a new phone.
If the screen is off and resting, when a phone call comes in, you have to SLIDE to answer. If the screen is on, or I am within an app doing something on the phone and a call comes in, then it becomes TOUCH to answer.Anybody else noticed this??I hate it because the slide lock is super laggy since the update. I would much rather it be touch all the time. Wasn't it this way with Froyo?
View 6 Replies View RelatedI've got a brand new Galaxy S6 (unlocked), running 5.1.1 - I dial it, it rings, but there's no way to pick it up. I wake the screen (as its just black) - standard lockscreen, unlock, standard launcher - there's no dialler popup to answer the call or anything.I've dug through all the options and can't find anything that might be causing this, I haven't yet factory reset as I spent a load of time customising everything before noticing, sigh.Any clues to how I can debug this?

1 or 2 out of 10 incoming calls, I am UNABLE to answer, the swiping right action just doesn't seem to work, the phone stops ringing but the screen keeps displaying the answer/ reject screen, like the one in the middle below:
I have even chosen to use the HOME button to answer incoming calls (the picture on the left above) but it doesn't work either... (I can't answer by swiping or hitting the home key).

Started to get to grips with my S2 after switching over from Blackberry for business. Must admit, i'm quite enjoying it now! I still use an iPhone for personal so it's quite nice to have the comparison..Anyway, sitting at my desk with my headset on I would love to be able to answer my client calls and reply to SMS by using my PC instead of the phone itself. It may sound lazy but it'd be so much quicker to just stick it in a USB dock or something and then not have to worry about it again all day.Is this possible? I've seen something called MOBILedit but the reviews don't seem too clever.
View 6 Replies View RelatedWHEN A CALL COMES IN AND I TRY TO ANSWER I IMMEDIATELY LOSE THE CALL.
I have set the Home button to answer calls and I could lose them that way OR if while using the phone and I get the little window from an incoming call with ANSWER or REJECT and I hit ANSWER I can lose call that way also.
im coming from iphone and used to seeing the answer call and hang up button or answer call and hold. i dont see anything like that on this phone, seems like it just automatically places original call on hold. any way to automatically disconnect from that call and pick up the new one?

View 1 Replies View RelatedWhen I get an incoming call on my Sprint Galaxy S II with my Plantronics Voyager Pro headset, I have to press answer on the phone, then hit keyboard, then hit 1 to answer the call (which is ridiculous, especially if I am driving). Is there a way I can set the phone so I can answer calls just by tapping my headset like all other phones I have had in the past?
View 6 Replies View RelatedI updated my E55 software to the latest one and now if a call comes in, the phone sometimes just freezes, no button responds and I cannot answer the call !
Is there any possibility to revert software back to older version ?
I had no problems before
Also please fix the phonebook bug , if one name has several numbers , I cannot call either of them , it just cancels it.
I've been given an E71 that's a couple of years old. I like the phone but it only rings for about 10 seconds then goes to answer phone which barely gives me time to get it out of my pocket!

View 1 Replies View RelatedUsing stock email and SMS on LG G3, when I can an answer phone message I get an SMS alert. I have to open this text message or it will remind every 5 mins (a feature I like for other text messages). The text tells me the answer phone number (121, vodafone UK) but this number is not a clickable link. I therefore have to close the text message and open the dialer and phone 121 (or hold 1 key). Is there a way to launch the dialer from the text message (for example forcing it to create a link for the 121 number)?
View 2 Replies View RelatedI've had a brand new Xperia Z3 less than a week and I can see when I am getting an incoming call. But, if I'm texting at the time, although I can see the call notification I can't respond to it and the buttons disappear from the bottom of the screen. The slide down options from the top of the screen also disappear. The phone just freezes and I have to restart the phone every time. I don't know if it's doing this with other apps, or whether it's just the messaging app.
