I noticed that when making or receiving a call, even with the volume set to 10 bars, when someone is standing next to me, he cannot hear the voice of the one am talking to. My friend has C3-00 with firmware V8-63, when he receives or makes a call, when you are standing next to him, you can hear the voice of the person he is talking to and you can reduce the volume in order for somone next to you not to ehar what you are discussion. Is it about the firmware or is it just my phone?I want to know so if I have to reverse back to V8.63 by flashing the phone or maintaining V8.71.

Jun 26, 2010Got my phone Thursday, setup went fine. Took a phone call on Friday. Sound was fine. Later that night, I used my Aux input in my car to listen to something off my phone. This morning I got a phone call, and couldn't hear anything. Retried the call a few times. Rebooted, same thing. Switch to speaker phone, I can hear a phone call fine. Ideas? Hardware or software?

Aug 2, 2011Just purchased a C2-00. Whenever I make a call normally, the voice can be heard on the earpiece & very clearly on the loudspeaker also - AT THE SAME TIME...When I turn on the speaker phone on, then the loud speaker gets activated & is loud, which is normal of any phone. Is this a problem with my handset or a feature given by Nokia that the Earpiece & loudspeaker will function at the same time?

(even after restore factory settings).. plus my conversations menu showing a couple of msgs as standalone. apart from that i cant see Internet videos no matter what i do. i've followed a way to do it, a lot of people were succesful in doing it but i cant get it to work. i guess reinstalling firmware might work.

May 3, 2011Yesterday evening Ovi Suite proposed new firmware (14.002). I tried to install it, which was a mistake During the installation Suite lost connection to the phone and as I checked the phone it was in test mode. It didn't respond to any keys so I had to remove the battery. After that the phone has been dead. When I try to boot it up or try to hard reset it with three-finger-salute the only response is a short vibration. After vibration the phone stays dead.Removing battery does not change anything.

4. being an internet device, it must give you unparalleled user-friendliness, which fixing the first 3 above would. of course people may have other feedback other than browsing experience, but like i said, being a browser device, browsing experience is paramount

Jul 22, 2011I work with a Nokia C5-00 operator locked (Movistar Spain) one month ago. When I connect it thru Ovi Suite (in a Windows 7 box), a firmware update was available, and yesterday I tried to do the upgrade.
Ovi Suite detected my phone, and a few moments later, backup its contents, and started to download the new firmware. Troubles came when Ovi Suite began to do the update, as it failed with a "Network Connect Error" when started to do the process.
Screen of my phone went completely white, and after disconnecting the USB cable, the phone simply died, except when I press the red button (it makes a vibration, but screen doesn't turn on). If I reconnect the phone to the computer, Windows try to install a "Nokia USB ROM" device, but unsuccessfully.
Can I make a sort of "reset" to revive my phone?
