Former Samsung Note user. Not sure if this is a Samsung or Android feature but when I finish a call, the Note made a short and quiet chime. This is useful because I can tell that a call did in fact end as opposed to it still going on when I thought I had ended the call and the person on the other being able to hear what's going on until I find out.

Then it automatically redials the number and it connects properly. This was acceptable until I tried to use the blue tooth connection in my car. How do I fix this?

It then responds to anything, not even on the Power button until the other ends the call. Then, the screen lights up again and it goes back all normal.

My X10 randomly ends calls?! It is rediculously annoying as I had a call this afternoon that laster about 20 mins and the phone decided to end the call almost every 2-3 mins. I have held it away from may face incase the prox sensor wasnt working and my face was touching it but that didnt change anything..

View 2 Replies View RelatedI've recently got a HTC 601 which I'm pretty happy with so far except for the following issue.
I have noticed on multiple occasions that when on long calls the call gets hung up. I'm not certain, but I'm fairly sure that this is because the phone is picking up a 'touch' from the side of my face and processing it as a press of the end call button. As far as I can tell the screen is off when this happens - but it is still registering the touch rather than ignoring it. On one occasion the call was put on to speaker-phone - which made me pretty sure the problem is related the the phone registering touches when it shouldn't be (opposed to the call dropping out due to network or similar issues).
This has happened since I first had the phone (I got it about 2 weeks ago) and I have not rooted the phone or anything like that. Are they any settings I can change that would relate to this? My wife got the same phone at the same time but hasn't had any issues.
I'm looking for an app that will turn the screen on automatically when there are notifications.The main reason is I want this is to confirm that a call has ended. When I'm using my bluetooth headset and hit the end button, I have no visual confirmation from my phone that the call has indeed ended.With the majority of the other phones I've owned, the screen will come on and a notification will pop up for certain things (call ending, incoming texts, bluetooth connected/disconnected, wifi available, etc). But on Android I can't find a way to do this.

View 1 Replies View RelatedMost of the time when a call ends and I'm using my H17text headset the damn music player, or whatever media app was last used, will start playing EVEN THOUGH it was not running before the call. That would not be so bad but when you have a phone that's set to lock you have to unlock it and find the damn app that's running to get it to stop. This is just plain STUPID!
I've seen this posted all over the place so Motorola my phone when we know it's a ANDROID bug. What I want to know is how to get it to STOP! I'd rather have to manually restart the damn media app after a call that to have it always start with out me wanting it!
Non rooted n5... Notifications are sometimes muted while on calls... However, they become and remain muted when call ends until reboot? Where can I change this setting? running 4.4.4 and google fu is failing me for a fix for this issue.
View 5 Replies View RelatedI'm having several issues with my Motorola Photon 4G. The first problem and must frustrating problem is that from time to time my phone will reboot when a call ends (either a drop call or hang up). I've tried removing the SD card and turning off HAC but none of these suggestions resolve my problem. The second issue is that from time to time my phone will not ring even if I have full service. I have several Sprint phones (Epic 4G, iPhone, Transform) and if I leave them all on the same table in my home can call them from my house phone they all ring when I call them.
When I call my Photon it will only ring 3 out of 5 times. On my house phone the call does not go direct to voicemail. At my house all the phone signal strengths are maxed out. The third issue is that if I turn on the speaker phone my call gets very staticy. The only way for me to fix this issue is to hang up and all the party again (simply turning off the speaker phone does not resolve the problem). This problem happens 100% of the time.
I just bought the HX550 and have been using it on my X2. I really like the bluetooth. Probably the best one I have ever used, and I have used many. I found one glitch with my using it with my X2. After I end a call, the musical player starts automatically. And only when I use the HX550. Has never happened with any other bluetooth. I tried it with MotoSpeak installed and removed. Makes no difference.

The call was made to someone in my contacts and lasted for nearly 7 mins......I have also experienced the disappearing songs problem and had to reload part of an album from my itunes library on pc.

I can see that I'm online and "hooked" I'm able to receive calls. But if I try to make internet call,the "phone" start restarting in cycle on and off.The only solution is to send it back to the service. I did it twice. And I pay for it,because it's a software issue.But it's not it's FIRMWARE issue, and buggy nokia VoIP settings.I'm using that services on my e61i almost 3 years. I'm able to connect tree services and it works excellent even with the 220Mhz.I'll put the phone in box and send it you're executive manager. View 2 Replies View RelatedI have had to reset my phone using the factory reset option after it started doing some strange things. This is the second time I have had problems - the first after installing a few apps (only 2 - a free pool game and a free solitaire game), the second was after my niece surfed some possibly suss sites looking for Santa jokes! It may also have been installed apps causing the problems - I installed the app for the NSW Live Traffic.
So now, as soon as I make/dial/place a call (hit the green phone), the screen closes or goes black, and I have to press the power button to reactivate the screen. If I do this quickly, the actual screen lock has not yet activated, but if I do it after a few seconds I also need to swipe.
I cannot locate any setting which seems to be causing this. Last time I factory reset the phone, I didn't get this issue, so it may be something which is still installed which is causing the problem. I have tried uninstalling the NSW Live Traffic app plus anything else which wasn't part of the phone's operating system.
I like this feature especially when driving, however, could it be modified to first wake the screen if it's blank then wait for a second press to end the call? If a notification appears during a call, there's no way to see it without hanging up on the caller.
View 3 Replies View RelatedI am having a few problems with setting up my nokia ck-100 handsfree kit on a 2004 audi a4 (standard concert system) I am just using the standard iso connector. It connects with the phone and performs all functions except.
1. it only uses the centre console speaker and while the phone is connected there is a constant hiss until it disconnects or the call ends.
2. The radio doesn't mute when a call is made or recieved.
3. The ck-100 dosent seem to be ignition linked.
I was using a flashlight (torch) app to read with for the first time, and noticed after a few minutes that the camera body became extremely hot and that the OIS (image stabilisation) had been running the whole time. When I moved the camera in certain directions it made a loud screeching noise. I hoped it would improve once cool, but unfortunately not.So I will have to send it to Nokia for service/replacement, as it's ruined the ability to take videos, and who knows how much worse it will get.

I option+clicked the restore button to point it to the backup that was made today, but when i go to the "/Users/username/Library/Application Support/MobileSync/backup" folder there are no clickable files to select. Am I looking in the right place? How do I restore from that most recent backup? I would like to do it without having to completely restore my phone again.

This is especially annoying as the same problem blighted my XP and is one of the main reasons i chose to upgrade as was struggling with ram issues anyway.

I'm currently the owner of a HTC One S but it started to act weird since a couple of days ago. More specific, when I am trying to call somebody you can hear the 'dial tone' twice and then it just stops and goes back to the telephone/contacts screen. Furthermore, when I am receiving calls the phone rings one, two or three times and then it stops for one second. Then, it starts to ring again two or three times and it ends et cetera ,, then the phone says that I have got 2 or three missed calls from this particular person (I tested it with my friend's phone and I just called once (and let the phone ringing for a while). Also, if i managed to pick it up within the two rings the conversation only lasts for a few seconds and then the phone goes back to the home screen.
Does anyone faces similar problems and has a solution? It's driving me crazy!Signal issues? By the way, sending and receiving text messages does not seems to be a problem. Also, I did a reset to the original factory settings but the problem still exists. The phone also contained the last availble updates
When connected to my car via bluetooth, the phone emits a very loud, ear peircing tone when the call is ended. I cannot find how to turn off the call end tone in any of the menus. This is an extremely annoying "feature" that I would like to get rid of.
