Nokia :: Constantly Restarts When Internet Call Made Off?
Mar 26, 2010
I'm using you're VoIP SIP settings to connect my BETAmax service or my Cisco VoIP system.Everything is setup correctly. I'm able to register the service. I can see that I'm online and "hooked" I'm able to receive calls. But if I try to make internet call, the "phone" start restarting in cycle on and off.The only solution is to send it back to the service. I did it twice. And I pay for it,because it's a software issue. But it's not it's FIRMWARE issue, and buggy nokia VoIP settings.I'm using that services on my e61i almost 3 years. I'm able to connect tree services and it works excellent even with the 220Mhz.I'll put the phone in box and send it you're executive manager. I'll write to him on my native language what is my problem with the nokia software, I'll provide him my username and passwords to set it up for me.If He is not able to fix NOKIA bug for me, then EUROPEAN CONSUMER AFFIARS
I got my Nokia e72 in Israel, from local cellular company called Cellcom (Cellcom Israel Ltd).I bought the phone about a week ago and almost instantly it started to make a problems (restarts).I got back to Cellcom store and asked to fix or replace phone or it's software. The answer that I got from Cellcom representatives was funny: Nokia e72 has to null himself from time to time, and it's known issue (so they say that it's normal), and it's all what they can do.The bottom line, they said that restarts and closing applications it is the way that e72 should work
After long conversation they agree to check it in their service labs.. Today I got it back, they told that the phone was reset to default settings and it works now as it have to work (on their opinion). All problems persist, phone may close one of the applications unexpectedly or simple restarts and closing all open applications.

My e72 constantly restarts by itself - I cannot find reason why it happens - sometimes phone restarts when i type sms, sometimes when I unlock phone and so one, fw = 022.007, twice I made hard reset (restored backup notices, calendar, contacts) but this did not help what can I try else?
I am having a few problems with setting up my nokia ck-100 handsfree kit on a 2004 audi a4 (standard concert system) I am just using the standard iso connector. It connects with the phone and performs all functions except.
1. it only uses the centre console speaker and while the phone is connected there is a constant hiss until it disconnects or the call ends.
2. The radio doesn't mute when a call is made or recieved.
My phone is constantly restarting/rebooting it self. I have pulled the battery, I have plugged in the phone; nothing seems to work. I have not dropped, it has NOT gotten wet.
I'm at a loss for what to do. I need my phone. The only thing I can think that I have done within the last 24hrs with the phone is let the battery completely drain (which I have been told is good to do); battery was fully charged after.
I have had the 950XL for almost a week. I set it up off a back up of my 1520, and didnt have any issues for the first few days. When I received my 128 gig SD card, and hard reset, and loaded the backup of itself it does a weird thing that if i look at it wrong, touch the glass wrong, I actually havent figured out why it does it) it restarts. Soft reboot style.
Bought a Nexus 5 about 6 months ago USED. It has been amazing. I got the latest OTA a week ago or so, not sure if that has anything to do with current issues.
About 2 days ago started randomly restarting. Today, it shut down and has been in continuous loop restarting. I see "Google" and maybe even the boot dots loading, then it is off. Three seconds later, starts again and repeats. Never makes it all the way into Android system. I let it sit for a while and when I pick it up, without touching any buttons, it repeats all of this. I suppose it is probably dead in general, but I don't know.
Never rooted, never messed with, always been stock,....
everytime when i try to use wifi to access internet either using browser to surf, accessing the facebook or Internet applications using wifi, the phone screen goes dim, and goes back to the main screen (the wlan is automatically off when the phone restarts).i have tried upgrading the firmware, but the problem still persist. the storekeeper says this is a phone bug, and there is nothing nokia can do.
My iphone4 has recently made a call by itself! I have a 4 digit passcode lock, not sure if it has happened before but will be checking my 'recents' list in future.
The call was made to someone in my contacts and lasted for nearly 7 mins......I have also experienced the disappearing songs problem and had to reload part of an album from my itunes library on pc.
I have had to reset my phone using the factory reset option after it started doing some strange things. This is the second time I have had problems - the first after installing a few apps (only 2 - a free pool game and a free solitaire game), the second was after my niece surfed some possibly suss sites looking for Santa jokes! It may also have been installed apps causing the problems - I installed the app for the NSW Live Traffic.
So now, as soon as I make/dial/place a call (hit the green phone), the screen closes or goes black, and I have to press the power button to reactivate the screen. If I do this quickly, the actual screen lock has not yet activated, but if I do it after a few seconds I also need to swipe.
I cannot locate any setting which seems to be causing this. Last time I factory reset the phone, I didn't get this issue, so it may be something which is still installed which is causing the problem. I have tried uninstalling the NSW Live Traffic app plus anything else which wasn't part of the phone's operating system.
Former Samsung Note user. Not sure if this is a Samsung or Android feature but when I finish a call, the Note made a short and quiet chime. This is useful because I can tell that a call did in fact end as opposed to it still going on when I thought I had ended the call and the person on the other being able to hear what's going on until I find out.
When placing a phone call the Droid Pro seems to dial the number then as connection is being made it automatically ends the call. Then it automatically redials the number and it connects properly. This was acceptable until I tried to use the blue tooth connection in my car. How do I fix this?
I recently updated this phone with the 5.0 version via desktop. Installation was successful, kind of. Sending and receiving text, internet, media, etc. all work fine. But whenever I make a call this phone goes off, the little red light blinks and then blackberry logo appears above a loading/buffering bar. Before the update placing calls went on without a hitch.
I tried installing in vain an interesting VoIP application called spokn (http://www.spokn.com/cgi-bin/nokia.cgi) on my N97mini. As it didn't work after installation I decided to remove it.After removing it also, I see that it has not deleted Call mailbox setting that it created while installing. If I go to Settings > Calling > Call Mailbox I see account listing with , but there is no option to remove it. In the options I only see "Call internet call mailbox".How does one get rid of this please. (as this causes extra tab to be appearing in my contacts)
When I make a phonecall that is longer than 5 minutes, the phone call suddenly stops and the phone appears to be restarting, showing the apple logo. What can I do?
when i enter my call log e.g to see a missed call all i get is an empty log it's the same with my dialed/ recieved call list? also my web brower aint saving my recent history either.i have tried the update firmware to the new version and i am no further forward.
this is for the all the people nokia and phone operators has felt to screw overseeing as i cannot update my nokia 5800 from v30 to v31 i cannot use the free maps service seeing as im on the phone network 3 and ive heard they do not release updates at all, and my friend has a nokia e71 and also cannot use the new version of maps.therefore, dont you think that the previous version of maps should be made free so that people who have happened to choose the wrong phone or network operator can also use maps for free.i really do not see why i have to pay £X amount a year just because im on a different network (not blaming nokia at this point) so would it really be that much trouble for them to make the previous ovi maps free to all or at least make the new ovi maps avaiable to people with lower firmware
Other Phones have built-in Facebook app, not just a plain browser facebook even when they post the cellphone which they used even indicated there. my FB app in my n8 just open facebook in a link.
I've had an E72 for around three months, there are a few bugs etc some of which I've not experienced like others in the threads here. Generally I'm quite happy with the phone. I did however experience a problem yesterday where my phone (without my knowledge) was not taking incoming calls. I had a meeting with somebody who said that they'd tried to call my several times.
When we met he tried again and the phone did not ring and worse still the answering machine did not cut in. My phone was showing a full signal. I switched off the phone, removed the battery for a moment and then switched back on and it was fine? As a business user, this is very worrying. How many calls did I miss for the morning? Has anybody else experienced this? I had been using the OVI Navigation that morning?
This is my first post to this forum and i am really hoping for some help. I have a Nokia 5800 Xpress Music Phone. It is about 7 months old and has developed a really annoying and frustrating fault over the past few days - progressively no getting worse by the hour it would seem. The phone freezes after receiving a text, phone call, internet usage or just generally pressing one of the function buttons. Some times if you wait long enough it does free itself but more often than not it will end up me removing the battery to reset the handset. Nothing appears to work properly on it anymore - the battery appears to drain within hours of charge. Really fed up with it now. Carphone Warehouse and Orange are blamming each other ( no change there). Yes i can take it to a repair centre who will either do it on site ro send away. I have completed a soft reset but has made no difference. I am now tempted to do a complete hard reset once backing up my contents etc
