Dec 28, 2011bought a ray acouple of days ago, updated the phone through the pc companion. the phone then started to shut its self down and restart when in an area of low signal. if i bring the phone back into an area with better coverage there is no problem.

Jan 26, 2010I got my Nokia e72 in Israel, from local cellular company called Cellcom (Cellcom Israel Ltd).I bought the phone about a week ago and almost instantly it started to make a problems (restarts).I got back to Cellcom store and asked to fix or replace phone or it's software. The answer that I got from Cellcom representatives was funny: Nokia e72 has to null himself from time to time, and it's known issue (so they say that it's normal), and it's all what they can do.The bottom line, they said that restarts and closing applications it is the way that e72 should work
After long conversation they agree to check it in their service labs.. Today I got it back, they told that the phone was reset to default settings and it works now as it have to work (on their opinion).All problems persist, phone may close one of the applications unexpectedly or simple restarts and closing all open applications.

Jan 5, 2012I've had my Nokia E5-00 since 11/25 and it's been giving me hell this past week. I don't know if it's coincidence or not, but I tried changing the lock code so I could lock my phone, and right as I entered the default 12345 and then it asked me for a new code, I put in the new code and it restarted. I figured it was just the phone updating itself. Then, the phone began restarting randomly, and sometimes it restarts multiple times before it stays put for an hour or two... Only to start the process all over again.When it restarts, the Nokia logo doesn't have the holding-hands thing. The screen turns white, sometimes the Nokia in blue letters appears, but never the hand-holding.I know some people have had this problem with the E5-00 and I'm wondering what I can do. I tried updating the software - twice - and no dice.

Mar 27, 2010I have a Nokia 6133. It is trying to receive an mm I suppose( paperclip symbol keeps flashing with the envelope symbol. I bought another used 6133 reset my old 6133 and the problem went away. Now the same problem is happening with the more recent phone. It tries to receive but can't and powers itself off after about 30 seconds and I can't prevent the shutdown.

May 9, 2012My phone is constantly restarting/rebooting it self. I have pulled the battery, I have plugged in the phone; nothing seems to work. I have not dropped, it has NOT gotten wet.
I'm at a loss for what to do. I need my phone. The only thing I can think that I have done within the last 24hrs with the phone is let the battery completely drain (which I have been told is good to do); battery was fully charged after.

Dec 1, 2015I have had the 950XL for almost a week. I set it up off a back up of my 1520, and didnt have any issues for the first few days. When I received my 128 gig SD card, and hard reset, and loaded the backup of itself it does a weird thing that if i look at it wrong, touch the glass wrong, I actually havent figured out why it does it) it restarts. Soft reboot style.

Sep 30, 2015Bought a Nexus 5 about 6 months ago USED. It has been amazing. I got the latest OTA a week ago or so, not sure if that has anything to do with current issues.
About 2 days ago started randomly restarting. Today, it shut down and has been in continuous loop restarting. I see "Google" and maybe even the boot dots loading, then it is off. Three seconds later, starts again and repeats. Never makes it all the way into Android system. I let it sit for a while and when I pick it up, without touching any buttons, it repeats all of this. I suppose it is probably dead in general, but I don't know.

Mar 26, 2010I'm using you're VoIP SIP settings to connect my BETAmax service or my Cisco VoIP system.Everything is setup correctly. I'm able to register the service. I can see that I'm online and "hooked" I'm able to receive calls. But if I try to make internet call,the "phone" start restarting in cycle on and off.The only solution is to send it back to the service. I did it twice. And I pay for it,because it's a software issue.But it's not it's FIRMWARE issue, and buggy nokia VoIP settings.I'm using that services on my e61i almost 3 years. I'm able to connect tree services and it works excellent even with the 220Mhz.I'll put the phone in box and send it you're executive manager. I'll write to him on my native language what is my problem with the nokia software, I'll provide him my username and passwords to set it up for me.If He is not able to fix NOKIA bug for me, then EUROPEAN CONSUMER AFFIARS

Aug 14, 2010My phone has the 2.1 update-1 and is branded via t-mobile (The Netherlands).
In the recent month I have about 10-15 restarts a day, also used SEUS to reinstall the software about 7 times and it gives the same result.
When 3G or Wifi is turned off I can use every app without problems, as soon as I turn 3G of Wifi on the phone crashes, restarts, input my pincode, freezes, restarts and that repeats about 5 times before I can turn off the 3G or Wifi.
Is there a known problem with this phone and the radio transmitter/receiver?

Aug 31, 2015I've had a Sony ZL2 SOL25 for just over a year now. Everything was fine until a few weeks ago. I upgraded to Android 4.4.2 around the same time, but this might be a coincidence.
My phone now lasts a couple of hours before shutting itself off, without warning and when there is (supposedly) charge in the battery. It also drops % randomly. From 70% to 55% over the space of 10 minutes. The maximum usage I've been able to get of the phone is 6 hours (about 60-90 minutes use, the rest it's idle). I'm not sure where the problem is: the battery, the battery information on screen, the update?
I have factory reset it twice over the last week and if anything, it's just gotten worse. I have added no apps since the last reset, not even configurated email. The problem is not only the very limited battery life, it's that the battery reading is unrealiable, I feel like I never really know what the real capacity is and when it's going to die. What I have figured out is that once it hits 50% that signals the end is near. I rarely see it go under 40%, it will usually shut down before that.
More details: This happens at any charge level, for example today it shutdown at 78%. It seemed the battery was having a good day, as I had left the house 2 hours prior and disconnected the charger at 100%, so it had "only" lost 20% during two hours (mostly idle, but about 15min with location services and 20min with facebook/browsing). I got my phone out to take a photo and noted the charge (78%) and right after taking the photo the phone just stated "Shutting Down" and the battery signal in the corner was red (couldn't read %). It would not restart, I tried several times but it wouldn't complete the start-up sequence, turning itself off in about 2-5 seconds. About 30 minutes later I managed to turn it on, it showed the charge as being 16%. I thought I had enough power to send an sms, but as it was sending it shut down again as the battery was 0% and so it turned itself off (this process between turning on and the power showing 16% and shutting down took less than 2 minutes, but the sms went through! Yay for silver linings!). About an hour later I had access to my charger and connected to the power cable, which after 10 minutes said it was at 60% charge.

Nov 16, 2011x10 shuts off at 60-65% charge. PC Companion has been run, and android re installed. Apps removed. Same problem persists. Phone will run when pugged into power. When unplugged from power will not operate below 60-65%. Phone can be started but will shut off immediately.
My first x10a was replaced without issue when you had to stand next to router to receive wi-fi signal (carrier=Rogers). The warranty on this 10 month old phone has expired as Rogers only looks at the original purchase date
