I am a X10 mini user frm India. After Android 2.1 update, While I connect to PC if I select Charge Phone its charging. But if I select Connect your Phone it connects, then suddenly phone restarts.

It reconnects the network automatically after a short while. Other wifi phones and PCs use this access point with no problems. I've checked my phone in an airport, a coffeshop and two university networks and came up with the same issue

It went through all the steps successfully and end up successfully stating that update completed. But after that when i check the version in my phone, it is still 1.6

View 2 Replies View RelatedI bought a new xperia ray and updated it to the latest update(android 4.0.4 build number 4.1.B.0.431) within the same day and I didn't have much experience with GB. But after the update it randomly restarts several times during the day even I left phone without any activity. But I want to highlight I used Sony PC Companion to update the firmware and during the update process I left the sim card within it and several times it failed the update with no exact error code but it said update failed kind a thing. But I think I finally figured out the reason for that pc companion related problem because my OS was windows 8 consumer preview. So I tried the update using windows 7 and it went properly.

bought an xperia mini pro today(23/7/2012) and when i make a call after sometime the phone automatically restarts. no other issues are found..but cant make a call.
View 4 Replies View RelatedSince last 4-5 days, I am seeing that whenever I connect my phone to my laptop (using usb), the phone restart and during this time I will have access to memory card for few seconds (30 sec), after that the card gets unmounted (from PC) and I will see a warning symbol (yellow triangle) on phone's notification bar. So I am unable to copy data to and from my phone. All this trouble started since I upgraded to 2.1 Note: I have checked the memory card by putting it to another phone and it works fine.

View 3 Replies View RelatedI have a Xperia mini pro SK17i and i've been using it for about 5 months now.. sometimes when i slide out the keyboard, the unit restarts.. and sometimes when playing music or when it's in my pocket it restarts.. i dont know why.. i message alot and i have about 5000 texts under one number.. whenever i want to send a message to that number i have to wait about 45 seconds for the conversation to load.. and while typing the wait/force close popup comes for messaging.. this is very annoying.. sometimes when in a hurry it restarts or messaging section freezes.. i've updated this to the latest firmware (4.0.2.A.0.62) and i did a full flash using SEUS about 3 months back.. but the problem still exists

I'm from Peru and I bought a Xperia Mini Pro last year. I downloaded ICS a few weeks ago and since then I doesn't have a day when my phone causes problems. It frozes the screen, doesn't catch wi-fi or 3G, crashes when I get the keyboard opened, doesn't let me answer phone calls, reboot automatically, crashes when reading media contente or SD card data, etc. cause I'm used to use my phone for almost everything and this Xperia used to fit perfectly to my routine until the update.

I've been trying to update my x10 to Android 2.1 I can't get past the stage where I have to turn the phone off and turn it on again with the back button pressed when connecting the usb lead.The phone starts up but the computer freezes up. I have to reset the computer to get it going again. I've tried turning off my anti virius software but this made no difference.
