Dec 23, 2010Phone restarts after 2.1 update on my mini when connected to USB port. Need a fix from Sony asap.If someone has found a way out, let me know.

Nov 12, 2014I updated my xpreia z2 yesterday to 4.4.4 and my smartwatch 2 keeps making the phone reboot until I turn off the bluetooth and don't like the size of the new launcher icons or the launcher in general. I've reset phone watch and uninstalled reinstalled both all aps todo with smartwatch 2.

May 17, 2012My usb port for mini pro got damaged,It is not covered under warranty(Ok,I am not gonna fight for this with Sony,let it be).I can still charge the phone,But the pc wont detect it.I am pretty sure it is a physical damage and not a firmware one because It started the day I tried to plug an invalid charger(Dont ask me abt it)
My confusions are
1.How much would it cost me to replace the port(Am pretty sure it would need to be repaired)?

Dec 21, 20101) the phone while using apps the screen will freeze become unresponsive then eventualy it shuts down & restarts
2) using the SE sync thing i lost all my contacts from my phone book they were not in phone or on the sync side both said contacts 0
3) missing calls i had my friend come round the other night & ask me if i had my phone switched off i told him no & asked why he said he'd been trying to phone me for over 3 hours on his mobile his daughters mobile & even the landline also txt messeges some times come through 24 hours after they have been sent

Sep 25, 2010Since last 4-5 days, I am seeing that whenever I connect my phone to my laptop (using usb), the phone restart and during this time I will have access to memory card for few seconds (30 sec), after that the card gets unmounted (from PC) and I will see a warning symbol (yellow triangle) on phone's notification bar. So I am unable to copy data to and from my phone. All this trouble started since I upgraded to 2.1 Note: I have checked the memory card by putting it to another phone and it works fine.

Mar 21, 2012I have a Xperia mini pro SK17i and i've been using it for about 5 months now.. sometimes when i slide out the keyboard, the unit restarts.. and sometimes when playing music or when it's in my pocket it restarts.. i dont know why.. i message alot and i have about 5000 texts under one number.. whenever i want to send a message to that number i have to wait about 45 seconds for the conversation to load.. and while typing the wait/force close popup comes for messaging.. this is very annoying.. sometimes when in a hurry it restarts or messaging section freezes.. i've updated this to the latest firmware (4.0.2.A.0.62) and i did a full flash using SEUS about 3 months back.. but the problem still exists

I have to manually open a browser and navigate to a page on internet to re-enable the WiFi connection.It is as if the connection times out.This causes the RoadSync email client to stop checking for emails and also stops the TuneIn radio application from playing the radio station it was playing.

Jul 8, 2011I have bought a X10 mini pro on ebay and replaced the 2GB card by a 16GB sdhc. I copied the contents of the former onto the latter via my PC.Since I did that, the phone starts to play one of the mp3 tracks I copied to it (always the same) as soon as I connect the USB cable, regardless whether it's for synchronising or charging.The song is not played by the audio player app - if I start a track there, then I here both at the same time. Killing all processes doesn't stop it either.The only way is to switch off the phone. Switching it on again doesn't restart the music, unless the cable is removed and plugged in again.Obviously this is more of an oddity than a problem, but it is somewhat annoying, especially since I usually intend to fill the battery when connecting the phone, not drain it with a song on its lips.

May 25, 2011If you have a Defect Tracking System, I can seriously take up the job of Ad-Hoc tester.The first time I tried the Backup, I was connected to PC companion ( I was going to perform a repair, I wanted to back up first)Turns out that Backup doesn't see the memory card if the phone is connected through USB.
1- It should at least improve the error message and indicate that Backup operation can't be performed while connected via USB.
2- Why can't it perform the backup while connected via USB in the first place? In fact it would be great to allow the back up to store the data in a directory in the PC via PC COMPANION.
