Xperia Mini/pro :: Get Damaged USB Port Repaired?

My usb port for mini pro got damaged,It is not covered under warranty(Ok,I am not gonna fight for this with Sony,let it be).I can still charge the phone,But the pc wont detect it.I am pretty sure it is a physical damage and not a firmware one because It started the day I tried to plug an invalid charger(Dont ask me abt it)
My confusions are
1.How much would it cost me to replace the port(Am pretty sure it would need to be repaired)?
2.Which is the best service Centre for Sony in Bangalore?

My E7 is 6 months old. The phone has not been damaged in any way but the charging port is faulty. I have tried different chargers and the same problem, , you have to wiggle the lead to make connection. Vodafone told me that this would be a wear and tear issue and therefore not covered under warranty. RUBBISH I say! If it has worn out then the phone is not "fit for purpose" I have spoken to Nokia who have advised me that they are seeing a problem with the charging port on a small number of the E7's. Nokia need to make Vodafone aware of this issue and Vodafone need to start listening to they loyal customer of over 20 years!

I damaged my usb port on my Samsung galaxy s5 phone. Before getting it serviced, can I just purchase a wireless charging cover and pad and charge it that way? Since nothing is being plugged into the actual port, it should work right?

The part on my BB Curve 8330 where you charge/sync it is loose and starting to fall out. I'm unable to charge/sync my phone anymore. Is there a way I can save all the information on my phone without syncing it?? I don't even remember the last time I did it, so I know there's a lot of new info on my phone. Also, does anyone know if this is covered under the Verizon Warranty?? I would appreciate any help ya'll could offer me! Thanks so much!!!

I just bought a xperia x10 mini pro in August. A week later I insert a 8gb memory card the cellphone showed me a message: Memory card SD damaged. Or: Verifying mistakes in memory. It didn't showed me my music and photos and the cell phone asked me to format the card. I formatted it and it starts to work ok but after 2 or 3 days appears the same problem. Additionally the cellphones sometimes restart itself, even without I'm not using it. The cellphone came with Android 1.6 and I updated to 2.1.

I am connecting a Canon 5D to my laptop trying to use it as a webcam trough camtwist. At the same time I need to output the streaming to a videoprojector.
The cam is connected to the mini display port do there is no port available for the VGA cable anymore. Do I need to use a different port for the projector? Should I buy a video card?
Can't connect the camera via USB as that is too slow and it will freeze.

finally, with USB-2Go, I can find valid reason to upgrade from N70. good pixel camera, ability to browse files from external drive, and HDMI out. Well my question is, is the USB2Go port seperate from the HDMI out port ? If yes, does it mean I can use the N8 to browse my external drive and play video thru my HDTV ? So Nokia N8 can be my full fledged media center, radio player, camera, phone

According to my IT guy I need to get my phone to pull emails out either on port 995 for SSL POP3 or on port 993 for SSL IMAP. My phone errors out when I setup the account through the phone. Koodo does not allow setting it up through a browser. They say the server I have used my 8830 on for years is not compatible with my new 9360 and that it is a Blackberry problem!

I had a really weird problem with my z3. I ve been using my device about 11 months and I havent faced any problem but 2 days ago surprisingly the USB port didnt work. I can not charge my phone and if I 'd like to charge it,I need to push charging cable a little bit to top of USB port. When I do that it charges but this action may occur negative consequences in the long term and also headphone jack has the same problem. Btw, phone has not take any impacts or excessive using.Why did this happen and how I fix it.

I have bought a 3rd party battery case which covers the rear of the phone and has a built in battery for emergency charge if I (god forbid) run out of juice when im out and about.
The only problem is, is it does not charge the phone, i have contacted the seller regarding this issue and they have sent me a second case to try but this is exactly the same.
