I just noticed that the back of my 3gs has 2 scratches at the back. Not hair line scratches, you can feel it with your fingernails and it's a bit deep. I don't know why did this happened as I am using a silcione case.

iPhone 3GS, iOS 5.1
a scratch is something that you can see on the phone when the screen is on, or when it is off but in normal lighting (not bright sunlight).micro scratches are hairline marks that you cannot see when the display is on, and only show up at certain angles in direct sunlight.

The cell lost its silver color, key pad has become hard.i think i used it for only 6 months but it wonderful device.if it can be Repaired then please let me know the price(at least approx price). so that i don't have to empty my wallet in Nokia store
Today while I was eating I accidentally dropped my X8 into hot soup.I know this voids my warranty, but just wondering if anyone knows if wet phones can be repaired and can my downloads be salvaged..?

View 1 Replies View RelatedPosting because I don't know if anyone else has this same problem or not with cases. With my iPhone 3GS, I put an ifrog case on it and an encase. I also used a zagg shield. Worked great! After about 8 months of using that set up I noticed that dirt dust whatever gets in between the case and the phone and scratched he phone up pretty bad. My bezel is scratched, the plastic back is scratched. WTF. Now I am reluctant to use a hard case on my new iphone or iPad. Anyone else experience this?
View 18 Replies View RelatedIs there anyway to get rid of light screen scratches? On not sure where they came from, but they're driving me crazy. I didn't get them over 3yrs on my last iPhone, without a screen protector so I'm not sure exactly why they'd popped up.

View 19 Replies View RelatedI take really good care of my phone and had the iPhone 3G for 2 years and didn't have any problems with scratches on the screen. Now with the iPhone 4 I have taken even better care of it and it is covered in scratches some seem minor but some seem deep and make it look weird when you look at it with the screen on. Once I noticed this it made me really mad because it is supposed to be a stronger screen.

View 5 Replies View RelatedI had two 3g iPhones and this is my second 3gs. This new replacement screen is picking up little micro scratches like crazy. My old one was naked for 6 months with no scratches at all and ditto on the 3g phones.
View 24 Replies View RelatedDoes anyone else notice that this phone gets swirls and scratches extremely easy? My 3GS's screen has no scratches in the year I had it and I've had my iPhone 4 since the day is came out and I've also had a bumper on it. The back has a big scratch on the back (but you can't feel it, just visible) and the front has a small scratch. But over the whole entire screen there are hairlines swirls all over. I never had this with my 3GS. Anyone else have this with their (easy scratching)? I don't like putting screen protectors on, never have, but contemplating doing that now.

View 1 Replies View RelatedMy usb port for mini pro got damaged,It is not covered under warranty(Ok,I am not gonna fight for this with Sony, let it be).I can still charge the phone,But the pc wont detect it.I am pretty sure it is a physical damage and not a firmware one because It started the day I tried to plug an invalid charger(Dont ask me abt it)
My confusions are
1.How much would it cost me to replace the port(Am pretty sure it would need to be repaired)?
2.Which is the best service Centre for Sony in Bangalore?
So I purchased an iPhone 4 about 2-3 weeks ago, and I'm really careful where I set it down as to not scratch it. (My local bar tender knows to put two coasters down, one for a drink and another for my iPhone), but I recently noticed that on the back camera that the glass is really scratched up that covers the lens. My question is: does anyone know how I can go into a store and get them to switch out my old one for a new one? Like a guaranteed problem I can report that they will swap it for?

View 7 Replies View Relatedtook my shiny new n900 out of my pocket only to discover the lcd is cracked. I have spoken to vodafone who say it can be repaired under warranty free of charge. do you think this is correct ?.I was not sure if accidental damage is covered. Dont want to be landed with a big bill if they repair it outside of warranty. i was only sat in a chair when lcd cracked, not dropped or fell on, i thought it was a bit tougher that this.
View 11 Replies View Relatedn97 is indeed a nice phone and i really don't regret my investment but i'm facing a problem with it's camera. I've learnt from the net that there was a problem with the cover which is too close and did scratched the lens. The result is that at night or in areas with low light the picture quality is very very bad. That's what happening with my n97. Nokia said to return it to their dealer to make the necessary to solve the problem and that's what i did, but there they are saying that it's my fault and that i've scratched it myself. How can i proof that's it's a common problem with that phone??? help plz... i previously has a n95 with a very good camera, sold it, and now can't accept having bought a more expensive one which should be better with it's double flash etc.and be so disappointed.
