Xperia Z3 :: Why Isn't Magnetic Charging Port Working
Jul 28, 2015I have bought a 3rd party battery case which covers the rear of the phone and has a built in battery for emergency charge if I (god forbid) run out of juice when im out and about.
The only problem is, is it does not charge the phone, i have contacted the seller regarding this issue and they have sent me a second case to try but this is exactly the same.

Jul 23, 2010finally, with USB-2Go, I can find valid reason to upgrade from N70. good pixel camera, ability to browse files from external drive, and HDMI out. Well my question is, is the USB2Go port seperate from the HDMI out port ? If yes, does it mean I can use the N8 to browse my external drive and play video thru my HDTV ? So Nokia N8 can be my full fledged media center, radio player, camera, phone

Apr 28, 2012My 8330 just started to have problems with its usb/charge port. I plugged it in last night before bed like I always do, but when I woke up it hadn't charged a bit and wasn't even recognizing that it had been plugged in. I tried my USB data cable as well, and that didn't register either unless I wiggled the cord around and held it still once it did register. I eventually did get the phone to register that I had plugged it in, but I had to wiggle the cord just so and leave the charger half-way plugged in once I found the sweet spot.

Jun 6, 2012Well the other day I went to use my new headphones on my iPhone4 and the sound was terrible. The sound is distorted and crackly, to get the other speaker to go on I have to put the volume at 100% and that makes my ears bleed lol. I plug the headphone in my computer and they worked fine. I tried another set of headphones on my iPhone and Only sound would come out of one speaker. Same thing happens if I plug it into a stero. Im freaking out bacuse my iPhone is my baby and I have no idea what happen. I have already restored the phone and restarted the device multiple times and still nothing is working.

Mar 30, 2012According to my IT guy I need to get my phone to pull emails out either on port 995 for SSL POP3 or on port 993 for SSL IMAP. My phone errors out when I setup the account through the phone. Koodo does not allow setting it up through a browser. They say the server I have used my 8830 on for years is not compatible with my new 9360 and that it is a Blackberry problem!

Sep 12, 2012Today, randomly the headphone port stopped working, when I play music with headphones in, they are not recognized and music is played through the speaker instead. Do I have to replace the jack? I have rebooted many times. When the headphones are halfway in, the phone recognised them for a short while but then carries on playing through speaker. My software version is 6.0 BUNDLE 2647 (v6.0.0.600, Platform 6.6.0.223).

Sep 21, 2015I had a really weird problem with my z3. I ve been using my device about 11 months and I havent faced any problem but 2 days ago surprisingly the USB port didnt work. I can not charge my phone and if I 'd like to charge it,I need to push charging cable a little bit to top of USB port. When I do that it charges but this action may occur negative consequences in the long term and also headphone jack has the same problem. Btw, phone has not take any impacts or excessive using.Why did this happen and how I fix it.

Nov 6, 2015I got my S6 the week it came out, so I've had it for a decent amount of time, without any problems until last week. One day I experienced a sharp battery drain, and plugged it in my PC to charge. To my surprise it wouldn't charge! It shows that it's charging, but it wont go up in charge. The only way to charge it now is with its own fast charger. I fiddled with it a bit, (cleared cache, uninstalled apps, etc. ) and I can say the battery drain problem seems to be fixed for now. But I'm still unable to charge it up via the PC (or a laptop) USB port.

Jan 5, 2010On the left side of the phone (same side as the micro usb port), there is a small 1/8" hole or port towards the bottom - about an inch up from the bottom. Can anyone tell me what that is for?
The reason I ask is because the first case I was using had a cut-out specifically for that port. But now I just switched to a different skin which doesn't. And I didn't want to cover it up if it was important..

Days ago I've try to use the USB port and the behavior was weird, each 2 seconds the connection change between USB and Magnetic Port (Fake)... then the battery starts to discharge very fast, becomes hot and stop the charging. USB Connection with PC have no problems and the charging with Magnetic Port is also right... I already tryed to restart the phone, and flash a new firmware.

Sep 6, 2012Updated Z3+ to Marshmallow 5.0.2 and subsequently discovered (on the first day back to work) that alarms (native clock) no longer work after the phone is left overnight.
Have checked notifications, priority status, display settings etc. Have force closed, cleared cache and re-started. No success.
If I test the alarm during the daytime (with normal phone usage) it works fine, the problem only occurs when the phone is left idle for extended periods.
Have spent hours on forums looking for solutions, with some references to Doze causing issues, although seemingly not with native clocks and as far as I can tell, not with Xperia devices.

Jun 15, 2015I rinsed my phone under the tap today because someone got chocolate icing on the screen. I didn't submerse it in water and i haven't dropped it. I simply ran it under the tap for no more than 5 seconds then dried it on my shirt and now the touchscreen doesnt work.
I made sure the flaps were closed and i've checked the indicators, on both sides they are yellow/white and not pink.
