I have the Sony Xperia Z3 and I have service through my provider yet I am not able to use any if the services such as texting,Internet or the ability to make or receive calls? It did it before but worked after a day but it's been almost a week.

I've upgraded my iPhone 3GS to iOS v. 5.1.1 and now both my phone service and data service are no longer working. I called AT&T's (my carrier) tech support and they got it working for a few minutes but as soon as I got off the phone with the agent it stopped working! My account with them is current.

Have checked notifications, priority status, display settings etc. Have force closed, cleared cache and re-started. No success.

If I test the alarm during the daytime (with normal phone usage) it works fine, the problem only occurs when the phone is left idle for extended periods.

Have spent hours on forums looking for solutions, with some references to Doze causing issues, although seemingly not with native clocks and as far as I can tell, not with Xperia devices.
Got my new Z5 yesterday, and found that the vibration is not working.

It happens only after removing the headset. I will be listening to music in headset and will remove it when I reach office. If I get any calls after removing it then the person other side can't hear me. The mic works only if I restart or turn on speaker.
I set my alarm last night and it didn't work this morning. I've tested it with the phone on "do not disturb" with an exception of the alarm and I've tested it with the sound on, the alarm failed to work both times. Don't understand why as it was working fine last week.

Meaning, even if I don't whitelist an app in the stamina mode, their notifications shows up and they send/receive data: Pushbullet, Gmail, Twitter are only few examples. View 9 Replies View RelatedJust got a Kenwood car stereo put in my car with Bluetooth, USB and calling support for phones. The calling feature works just fine but when I try and stream Pandora I can't hit play. It stays there, no sound and wont let it play. I hit the play button, it blinks as if it has been touched but then doesn't turn into the pause button and doesn't even start attempting to play music. If I go to Bluetooth and uncheck the media box and check it again it will start playing but three songs later or so and it stops playing, back to the original symptoms. I tried bypassing Bluetooth and using the USB but that audio gives me the same problems.

Touch screen works, I receive calls, charging works, able to switch-off / switch-on, etc. Service Center person says liquid log near the display connector. Not sure where this water has come from into the phone and using very delicately as I am yet to complete EMI :-(

My blackberry internet service is not working. I have a curve 8250 and I am on a vodafone contract and I do have blackberry plan in my contract so it should work but it keeps saying it is not connected. I connected toa wifi connection yesterday and when I disabled that connection, my BIS did not start up again, i tried a battery pop reboot which didn't help at all, I even ran a diagnostics test and the resutls said as follows:
blackberry registration: no
Connected to blackberry:abort
blackberry pin-pin:abort
I coudnt get my BIS working with tmobile although I got the right blackberry plan with tmobile, I modified my tcp/ip setting,etc as diriceted by tmobile tech support. And I still got no BIS service with my phone.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI love my new Z5 compact but it seems to me that Sony changed some stuff regarding text selection (I guess due to the text lense they added). Beside that I don't really need a lense (who does?) it changes the behaviour and leads to some really annoying limitations when working with documents in some apps.
Example: Evernote (because I guess many users use it)
Try to select more then one line text :-) Works on several other old and new Android devices... not on my Z5 compact sadly.
Whenever I tried signing in I get could not sign in.
