yesterday i got the xperia z3 and i noticed that the accuweather app does not work, and when i try to add my location it says location not found i forced stop and cleared data but still the widget isn't working.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI don't know if others are affected by this but Verizon seems to have pre-installed Accu-Weather as my phone's weather source for weather alerts and such. Whenever there's a weather alert I get a scroll across the top of the screen letting me know. I can't find "Accu-Weather" anywhere in the app manager to force close this annoying thing and there seems to be no way to disable this.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI just set up my Photon and I see there is a accuweather app on the screen but it does not show my city, it shows another city. I was able to go in and ad my city to the list bit when I am on the main screen it still shows the other city. I do not see any place to delete this city but I can delete my city if I wanted to. I am thinking that maybe I missed something while I was setting up the phone itself?

Received my Repaired phone today and tried to restore using sony bridge for mac, I select the correct backup dated the 10th and it runs though the backing up process fine no errors, i restart the phone and nothing.........phone is exactly the same as before i restored.

Have checked notifications, priority status, display settings etc. Have force closed, cleared cache and re-started. No success.
If I test the alarm during the daytime (with normal phone usage) it works fine, the problem only occurs when the phone is left idle for extended periods.
Have spent hours on forums looking for solutions, with some references to Doze causing issues, although seemingly not with native clocks and as far as I can tell, not with Xperia devices.
I have the Sony Xperia Z3 and I have service through my provider yet I am not able to use any if the services such as texting,Internet or the ability to make or receive calls? It did it before but worked after a day but it's been almost a week.
