Apr 14, 2012I have moved my iTunes library to a new Windows 7 PC and cannot transfer music from the new iTunes PC to my iPhone 4S. The iPhone will only accept music transfers from the original iTunes PC. I have come to understand that an iPhone can have only one "daddy" iTunes PC, but have not been able to find out how to change the "daddy". I have done a backup of the iPhone, and a "Restore to Original Settings". Then I restored the content using the new iTunes PC. My Apps and contacts, etc. are back on the iPhone, but it still won't accept music from the new iTunes PC.

Apr 17, 2012After having to re-boot my PC, I unfortunately lost some of the music on my iTunes account. The songs are still able to be played on my iPhone but in the iTunes account, to the left of the tick box there is an exclamation mark, and when I click on the song to play it, a box comes up telling me that "the song can not be used because the original file could not be found." Is there any way of me being able to get the songs from my iPhone back onto my iTunes account?

Sep 8, 2014I recently made the switch from PC to mac. I'm loving it so far except I have one problem; I can't get my music from my iPhone onto iTunes. Not all of my music was purchased from the iTunes store so I can't just retrieve it using my apple id. The computer that had all the music saved crashed so I couldn't transfer the music with an external drive. I was told I would have to use a third party software in order to transfer my music from my iPhone to the iTunes. I have downloaded a bunch and they are all trial versions that have a limit to the number of songs I am able to transfer.

Sep 4, 2010I have bought a Sony Ericsson W395 but cannot transfer music files - or at least I can transfer the files using Windows Media player (connecting via a USB cable and using the 'Mass Storage' option) but although the files appear on Windows Media Player I cannot find them anywhere on my phone! I have the same experience using Windows Explorer. I cannot download the Sony PC suite as it is not compatible with Windows 7.
