IPhone :: Transfer Music From 4 To Itunes Library?
Apr 26, 2012
A while ago, my computer crashed and wiped out everything. I had to install Itunes. I've had my iPhone 4 for a year, and have many pictures and music on it. I still haven't updated my phone to version 5.1, and i would like to.. but my computer is saying that i should transfer all my apps, music, etc, so i don't lose it, but i do not know how to do that.
it is possible to transfer your music library from a 1st gen Ipod touch to your itunes library on a Mac book pro. I have alomost 3000 songs as well as playlists on my Ipod and cant find anyway to transfer theses to my itunes library, meaning i can't add them to my 4s.
I have a new laptop, i have activated it in itunes, when I plug in my iphone, i cannot see any of the music that is stored on my phone in my itunes library. I lost all my music from old laptop when it crashed, so all i have is whats on my phone. Does any one know why i cannot transfer my music from my phone to my itunes library. The only thing i seem to be able to see are my recent purchases all my old ones seem to have disappeared.
My brothers computer broke. It was a PC. But he had his iPhone synced with it. So now he wants to get the music he lost in that computer to download to his new computer. But the music he purchased is on his iPhone, and the computer wont let him transfer the music from his iPhone, to his new computer. It tells him this music was synced with a different library and won't let him transfer the music.
Does anyone know a work around for this. I know he is using a PC, but I figure, and Apple user, who brakes his Laptop(I'm not talking about crashing, I am talking about actually braking, it was smashed basically), would run into the same problem, your iPhone has Music that was synced with another Library, and it wont let you move the music to the new library. Even though this music was all purchased with the same Apple ID, that doesn't seem to matter. Now, I know that one of the new features of iTunes lets you re-download music you purchased and may have lost, without having to purchase it again. But none of the music from that broken laptop appears in that list of re-downloadable music. All was purchased from iTunes.
I am trying to transfer itunes library to a new iphone 4s. MacBook Air is telling me that I am not a authorized user. Where do I look to see which device is blocking me....computer or new phone?
recently my imac needed to have its harddrive replaced... so i pretty much have a brand new computer which means i lost my itunes library. but my iphone still has the entire library on it. how do i return my itunes library from phone onto the computer?
I have a Iphone 3GS and a windows laptop with all my information, apps, music ect. I want to transfer all the data from my windows laptop to my macbook air.
I was attempting to update my phone to iOS 5.1.1 when this message popped up: "There are purchased items on the iPhone that have not been transferred to your iTunes library. You should transfer these items to your iTunes library before updating this iPhone. Are you sure you want to continue?"
my laptop died, so i lost everything....i want to now synce my iphone to my new one without losing all my music, i know i can transfer purchanced tracks from itunes, but can i transfer the ones i didnt get from itunes i stand to lose quite a bit of money if i cant
Can I get the music from my itunes library (ie, those songs I've copied into the library from my CDs, not purchased on itunes) onto my iphone, either via icloud or directly onto my device?
I never use Sync on the iphone but since I got the new iPhone 4 I can't add music to my phone anymore from iTunes. Is there a way to do this without Syncing?
I have a lot of music (that I had loaded previously from CD's not purchased t iTunes) that are now on my iphone and when I got another computer that music does not show up in my itunes on the new computer, how can I get that to uploaded to my iTunes library on my new PC?
I was having some issues with my MacBook Pro and had to reset it as recommended by an apple tech. When I went to sync my iPhone afterward, a message came up saying that I needed to transfer the songs on my phone to my iTunes library or MacBook (can't remember exactly), or risk losing them - so I did. Ever since then however, iTunes will only load roughly 100 songs onto my iPhone, when it used to fill my phone right up. The songs in my library still play on my laptop no problem, so there is no issues with the songs themselves. I tried 'googling' a fix and found a suggestion restore my iPhone from backups, which I did and then my phone was finally syncing normally and filling up the entire phone. This sync was taking several hours however, and I went out for dinner and drinks during it and was surprised that it was still not quite finished syncing when I arrived home. Then a friend called and it was a bit of an emergency, so I took the call, but while I was on the phone the cord came loose from my MacBook and the entire sync session was ruined, and now it won't sync properly again even when I reset from a backup.
My old computer has died. All my music is on my iphone 5. Ive installed itunes onto a new computer and cant seem to get my music from my phone onto the itunes libary on my new computer. Also every time I try and get the music from my new computer onto my iphone it comes up with a error????Â
I cant seem to sync the phone to the new itunes either, even though its the same apple id and password.Â
know why music would show up in my itunes library but not on the iPhone even though it says it still has about 1GB of space? The songs are like a translucent grey when listed on the i-device music list. I've tried syncing repeatedly and clearing out space and I'm not getting alert messages.
I recently got an iphone 5 and synced it to my desktop computer. I then bought a MacBook pro and synced my iphone to it but I cannot put music from my MacBook onto my iphone. I even restored the phone and backed it up to the MacBook but I still cannot move music onto my iphone.
I'm having trouble syncing my iTunes library to my iPhone 3GS with only the checked songs.I went through my library and checked the music that I want. Plugged in the phone and went to the home summary page and checked "sync only checked..." I'm still getting some songs that aren't checked in my library and some of the songs that are checked aren't syncing. What am I doing wrong?
