I've only had this phone for a couple of weeks and thought I'd give the radio a go but it comes up saying 'Please connect the headphones or handsfree. They work as the radio antenna.'. I am using the headphones that came with the phone.

Even after connecting, when i tried playing a song, it didnt play through the headphones, but rather still through the speaker. What could be the reason?? Its working fine on other phones as well as on my PC.
View 6 Replies View RelatedI bought my Xperia SK17a a few months back in Vancouver, I then moved to Mexico, I unlocked it here in Mexico and it has always worked fine except for one thing: when I plug in my headphones I can hear my media just fine, but then if I unplug them the phone won't detect that it no longer has the headphones and so the sound and media will keep playing as if it the headphones were still plugged, obviously I can't hear nothing coming out from the built-in speaker because it keeps sending the sound to the 3.5 mm jack. Sometimes I can make it work, this will only happend if I shut down my phone or if I slightly plug in my headphones on the jack but not enought to get the music , after I do that I can hear a constant "tap-tap-tap-tap" as if someone was knocking the door, however I can't always do that or it dosn't always works. I can also hear that "taptaptap..." sound when I record or make a call and have the built-in speaker working, such speaker stop working the second I plug in and out my headphones and if I record a video with the headphones plugged or the speakers not working I can no longer hear such tapping on the video. Also, if i plug in the headphones I can no longer hear anything during a call, but they can indeed hear me, If i want to hear the other person I'd have to plug in my headphones or pray for a miracle to happen.

I have to manually open a browser and navigate to a page on internet to re-enable the WiFi connection.It is as if the connection times out.This causes the RoadSync email client to stop checking for emails and also stops the TuneIn radio application from playing the radio station it was playing.

Even sitting with the livebox on my lap the phone connects and disconnects a few seconds later. This means I am using the 2+3G connection at home.....using valuable 'Fair Use' megs up.

View 3 Replies View RelatedI have bought a X10 mini pro on ebay and replaced the 2GB card by a 16GB sdhc. I copied the contents of the former onto the latter via my PC.Since I did that, the phone starts to play one of the mp3 tracks I copied to it (always the same) as soon as I connect the USB cable, regardless whether it's for synchronising or charging.The song is not played by the audio player app - if I start a track there, then I here both at the same time. Killing all processes doesn't stop it either.The only way is to switch off the phone. Switching it on again doesn't restart the music, unless the cable is removed and plugged in again.Obviously this is more of an oddity than a problem, but it is somewhat annoying, especially since I usually intend to fill the battery when connecting the phone, not drain it with a song on its lips.

View 3 Replies View RelatedIf you have a Defect Tracking System, I can seriously take up the job of Ad-Hoc tester.The first time I tried the Backup, I was connected to PC companion ( I was going to perform a repair, I wanted to back up first)Turns out that Backup doesn't see the memory card if the phone is connected through USB.
1- It should at least improve the error message and indicate that Backup operation can't be performed while connected via USB.
2- Why can't it perform the backup while connected via USB in the first place? In fact it would be great to allow the back up to store the data in a directory in the PC via PC COMPANION.
I'm planning to pick up a S6 next week but I have one quick question. I have used Samsung devices in the past and if I had my headphones connected and I paired my device with my car or Bluetooth speakers the audio would continue to play through the headphones and I would have to disconnect them before audio would play via the Bluetooth device.

I have a set of Jaybird JF3 Freedom BT headphones (fantastic running headphones BTW!) - both the Motoactv manual and the device itself tell me that when the Motoactv and my BT headset are in range of each other and powered on, they will auto-connect. Of the 30+ times I've used them, this only happened once. Every other time I have to go into Settings - Wireless - BT Headsets-JF3 Freedom and hit the "Reconnect" button - then they reconnect right away. One random time, they auto-connected. I didn't do anything different than I normally do.

The phone has the latest iOS version 7.1.2. It is just a few weeks old. Â
