I have an iPhone4. I recently noticed the when I connect the headphones to listen to music, I can hear only from the right side headphone. I assumed that I had damaged the left headphone and got a brand new set to find out that it is the iphone that is faulty and not the headphones.

Behavior right now:
- Plug-in headphones (original XperiaZ2 gear)
- Play music
- Notifications mute music in headphones (but no ringtone is played), ringtones are output through speaker (Why? I cannot hear them there, since the original Xperia headphones are noisecanceling ... :-/ ).Â
- Same goes for alarm-sounds too!

Now imagine the following: You sit in a train / bus / whatever public transportation, and you know you're tired and think "I better set an alarm, so I won't miss my stop". Even better, I plug-in headphones such that my alarm won't anoy my fellow passengers. Great idea! But wait, with this "feature" you won't just only anoy other people but also miss your stop since YOUÂ don't hear the alarm, but everybody else does..Isn't there a better solution, than just mute all sounds aside from music? This in fact only solves the "anoy"-part, which is the littler issue in the above case.
I'm on my second 900 now and both have had this problem. The output volume for the headphones is extremely low even at 30/30. I feel like max volume should be loud enough that I never need to use it. I find myself not even being able to hear music at 30/30 when I'm downtown or on the subway. It feels like medium volume on anything else and it seems like it should really be 20/30.
I've posted this on other forums and it seems like all the phones are the same. Can Nokia just implement a simple sofware fix for this? Its riduclous that this got through the testing phase. Do they even know about it?
I just bought Apple's In-ear Headphones. I play music at full volume.
i am hearing a crackling noise in the left side of the earphones. it goes when i reduce the volume and it is only there on the left side

When in phone mode with headphones plugged into the phone, the volume control no longer works. Neither the buttons on the phone nor the volume control on the headset. Tried 2 other headsets without success. When I unplug the headphones the volume control works again.Â
The phone has the latest iOS version 7.1.2. It is just a few weeks old. Â

I have a HDMI display device which does not support HDCP. It is a HDMI video recorder (BlackMagic), so it makes sense that it does not support HDCP encrypted info. It works fine with all the other LG and Samsung Android devices with HDMI output, but now I connect Xperia Neo V to it and it tells "screen is turned of or does not support HDCP". I purchased the device specifically to be able to record screen casts of the mobile apps I have developed. can I disable HDCP signal encryption? I've connected the Neo V with TV and I can see that the image quality is quite poor there (definetely worse than 720p as it should be), so I see no real point in HDCP protection. I did not see any specification or reference in manuals that the device is compatible with HDCP HDMI only.

When I use voice control, the lines are up and down (almost like there is some type of noise) even though I am not speaking into it. Speakers are working, whether it's from music or using the phone. I have a set of Jaybird JF3 Freedom BT headphones (fantastic running headphones BTW!) - both the Motoactv manual and the device itself tell me that when the Motoactv and my BT headset are in range of each other and powered on, they will auto-connect. Of the 30+ times I've used them, this only happened once. Every other time I have to go into Settings - Wireless - BT Headsets-JF3 Freedom and hit the "Reconnect" button - then they reconnect right away. One random time, they auto-connected. I didn't do anything different than I normally do.

When I watch a video, I can't slide my volume up because the bar isn't there. My volume will sometimes work and then stop in the middle of a song. also my phone will only ring sometimes when I receive a call. It is not the jack because:
I plugged in my aux jack cord to connect my phone through the jack to my car. Using the cord in my car did not produce the same audio imbalance. Both sides were of equal volumeÂ
It is not the L/R slider because:
I checked the Settings>General>Accessibility slider and it is right in the middle of the L/RÂ
