The sound on my iphone wont work with text messages and music but works with calls and headphones. Didn't do anything to it was just sitting there and it happened so i dont think a setting changed. and the volume bar wont show up when i press side buttons or in the music?
The sound on my phone wont work. My music wont play, you cant hear the keyboard noise or the lock noise, and when someone calls i cant hear what they are saying unless I put them on speaker or put headphones in. When the headphones are plugged into my phone, the sound works fine! i would like to know why the speakers ownt work anymore
I have a problem with my Iphone. Today, the sound stopped working. I listened to music on headphones, got out of the headphone connector, clicked on the play. But the sound from the speakers is not heard. And in the player, the band lost control of sound. Now, through the headphones music, movies, games heard, and there is noheadphone jack.
When click on the home button twice and to leaf through the volume control slider and there disappeared. When I call the sound from the speakers is when typing flicks too.Once the sound back when I started the film but I took the headphones from the iPhone and after that the sound does not appear, only on the headphones and during the call from the speakers.
i recently upgraded my 3gs to ios 5.1, and now everything through headphones sounds really distorted, i've found loads of answers saying check your itunes files and such, but it's not just my music, i tried Internet and games through my headphones, and they all sound the same, they're all really badly distorted.
My iPhone 4s will not play sound unless the headphones are plugged in. I can't hear anything at all without the headphones, not even Siri. I've tried cleaning out the headphone jack, updating my software, closing all open apps, restarting my phone, and plugging the headphones in and out repeatedly, but nothing is working.
Mic for headphones (iphone4) will not work. When I use voice control, the lines are up and down (almost like there is some type of noise) even though I am not speaking into it. Speakers are working, whether it's from music or using the phone. I've tried turning the phone on/off and it still does not work. Not sure what else to do. I just recently bought these headphones approx 4-5 months ago.
My volume doesn't work with or without headphones. When I try to turn up my volume the ringer shows but there isn't any white dots showing how high my volume is. When I watch a video, I can't slide my volume up because the bar isn't there. My volume will sometimes work and then stop in the middle of a song. also my phone will only ring sometimes when I receive a call. I can't listen to music with my headphones and I can't listen to music through my speakers. But when I use an iPod Dock through USB then my volume will work so I think phone jack is broken...
Sometime over the last few weeks, I noticed one side of my headphones was dramatically quieter than the other on my iPhone 4S. I cannot figure out how to make each side play at the same volume again. I have not made any changes, but I feel it might have coincided with one of the iOS 8 (8.1, 8.1.1) installs. Here is what I have tested:¬
It is not the headphones because:
I have tested other sets of headphones and they have the same problem¬
It is not the jack because:
I plugged in my aux jack cord to connect my phone through the jack to my car. Using the cord in my car did not produce the same audio imbalance. Both sides were of equal volume¬
It is not the L/R slider because:
I checked the Settings>General>Accessibility slider and it is right in the middle of the L/R¬
I have an iPhone4. I recently noticed the when I connect the headphones to listen to music, I can hear only from the right side headphone. I assumed that I had damaged the left headphone and got a brand new set to find out that it is the iphone that is faulty and not the headphones.
None of my Bluetooth Motorola Headphones work anymore after iOS 5.1 upgrade. They constantly skip and dropout to a point of being totally useless... They were all working great and now they barely work at all.
When I Plug my Headphones into my Iphone the left one doesnt Work, but the right one does. But then i plug them into my ipad and they both work.. What is going on. My IPhone is still Under warranty if that is needed to know. What do i Do.
One day I was listening to my music on my iPhone and the phone dropped on the carpet (nothing hard) and after that when I took my headphones out, the phone no longer works on speaker and the loud sounds dont work unless the headphones are plugged in.
after running i disconnected my iphone headset.¬ since then my iphone speakers have stopped working.¬ i can still listen to music using headphones and the phone ringer still works but the speakers are silent.¬ when i adjust the volume it indicates it is in "headphone" mode.
My xperia ray has good sound quality on the external speaker regarding hights. Female voices for example sound fine. But on a good headphone (i use the beyerdynamic DTX 101 IE and tried others) heights quality is sub-par. Now i am wondering, did Sony use bad hardware here or bad software? Is there any chance this can be fixed with an update?I really like the phone but this bothers me a bit especially as the phone plainly has the technology to recreate the sound adequately (the speaker works fine).
Few days ago, I was driving, and I connected headphones to answer the call, but did not heard any sound. The problem was not in hardware of the headphones, because, the music and video player with connected headphones works fine, and I also can hear sounds wile typing on the phone, but when answer, headphones go mute, and mic is working fine. Before that, it was working fine.
