May 17, 2012Got the HTC Sensation XE with Virgin recently and love it. But I have a problem.When I plug in any headphones(earphones) it does not work. The sound still comes through the phone speaker.his can be sorted with a factory reset or briefly removing the battery. When operating ok the little headphone icon appears at the top of the screen and headphones sound great. But it does not remain operational!I found that the fault appears whenever I put plug the phone in for a charge with the phone switched off (as recommended). Last night I repeatedly switched the phone on whilst it was charging and checked the phone with headphones about every hour about 4 times and it worked every time. I began to think that the factory reset had fixed the problem In the morning the problem is there again have checked that the software is up to date manually in the normal way ie Settings/Aboutphone/Software UpdatesBy the way have also noticed that at the time the headphones are not working the USB connection is also non-operational

Jan 8, 2010I'm looking for an adapter for the Nokia E51 that will let me plug my 3.5mm headphones into the 2.5mm jack.
I bought one, but it will only let me hear sound from one channel. I can manage it by adjusting the headphones so that they don't go all the way into the adapter, but all that does is to let me listen to the sound on that channel in both earbuds. Also, the sound sometimes cuts out in that mode.
I've done some research, and it looks like Nokia offer two adapters - the Nokia AD-61 and the Nokia HDA-11. Can anyone tell me if either of these will work for the E51 (i.e. have they tried it and found it worked)?

Jun 30, 2012I want to disable only the beeping sound when you plug it in to charge. I don't want to turn the volume down or sounds entirely off because I use alarms in other non iOS apps which are too soft if I simply adjust the overall sound effects levels (so please don't bother to recommend that). I just don't like that one noise, sounds like a squeal of pain and is unnecessarily loud.

Apr 12, 2012I have a problem with my Iphone. Today, the sound stopped working. I listened to music on headphones, got out of the headphone connector, clicked on the play.But the sound from the speakers is not heard. And in the player, the band lost control of sound. Now, through the headphones music, movies, games heard, and there is noheadphone jack.
When click on the home button twice and to leaf through the volume control slider and there disappeared. When I call the sound from the speakers is when typing flicks too.Once the sound back when I started the film but I took the headphones from the iPhone and after that the sound does not appear, only on the headphones and during the call from the speakers.

I hook it to my computer and itunes comes up and says it has detected a iphone in recovery mode. It asked if I want to restore so I hit restore button and it starts extracting. When done extracting, a messages comes up and says this iphone can not be restored error 1656. What can I do now? I bought this phone new in October. It has not been damaged in anyway. But on a good headphone (i use the beyerdynamic DTX 101 IE and tried others) heights quality is sub-par. Now i am wondering, did Sony use bad hardware here or bad software? Is there any chance this can be fixed with an update?I really like the phone but this bothers me a bit especially as the phone plainly has the technology to recreate the sound adequately (the speaker works fine).
