The sound on my phone wont work. My music wont play, you cant hear the keyboard noise or the lock noise, and when someone calls i cant hear what they are saying unless I put them on speaker or put headphones in. When the headphones are plugged into my phone, the sound works fine! i would like to know why the speakers ownt work anymore

on an iphone 4s, with a os 5.1, the sound has a very strange issue:
- the ringer/text alerts work fine
- Internet/other sounds do not work
- when headphones are connected, everything works.

My iPhone 4 has developed a problem - I get no sound at all, not through the speakers, or by plugging in the headphones.Â
No app sounds, no key sounds, no phone call sounds - nothing! Â
I've tried cleaning all the fluff out of the headphone jack and the dock connector, I've also tried a full restore.Â
One other odd thing that happens is that if I open the Music app, it has now started cycling forward through the track listing by itself.
The sound on my iphone wont work with text messages and music but works with calls and headphones. Didn't do anything to it was just sitting there and it happened so i dont think a setting changed. and the volume bar wont show up when i press side buttons or in the music?

I have a problem with my Iphone. Today, the sound stopped working. I listened to music on headphones, got out of the headphone connector, clicked on the play.But the sound from the speakers is not heard. And in the player, the band lost control of sound. Now, through the headphones music, movies, games heard, and there is noheadphone jack.
When click on the home button twice and to leaf through the volume control slider and there disappeared. When I call the sound from the speakers is when typing flicks too.Once the sound back when I started the film but I took the headphones from the iPhone and after that the sound does not appear, only on the headphones and during the call from the speakers.

I've made and received several calls with my new iPhone 4 since getting it yesterday morning, however I was using my headset. Now, just this evening I got two calls when I didn't have my headset on and both times I had bad sound quality from the phone itself. I recently downloaded the update for the new software and all was well then suddenly my speaker phone stopped working. As well as my speaker phone the audio output of the speaker itself does not put out any noise. I checked the silent mode switch on the side of the phone as well as the sound settings and all looks as it did when things were working.
