View 5 Replies View RelatedI recently realized my Nokia lumia 900 can no longer ring, play music, or make any sound what so ever. I tried playing with some head phones and pulling them in and out pausing and unpausing while music was playing which I read in a forum can fix this problem.no luck..i realized there was a small piece of paper/lint in the headphone jack and pulled it out with a toothpick.this is driving me crazy.. Next thing I will try is doing a factory reset...anyone have any ideas or experience with this ?
View 3 Replies View RelatedOk so my phone is **bleep**ing up. It happened earlier when I noticed that I got a call and I could not hear anything or speak. However when I turned the speaker phone I could hear everything but Im not sure if the other person could hear me because the call ended. Now no sound comes out of my phone speaker. EXCPET FOR THE TEXT NOTIFICATION. That still goes off and sounds perfectly. So the speakers cant be broken. Also I used the voice commands and it said it could not hear anything.
View 4 Replies View RelatedI've just gotten my N8 for a week now, and it's been working alright other than the speaker. The speaker was giving me some problems around the 3rd day where I would try to play a song and there would be no sound except occasional bursts of audio (There would be around 5 secs of silence, then 1 sec of audio). It seemed to improve after the 5th day. Today, the speaker suddenly stopped working and I was wondering why there was no ring tone when someone called me. I also realised that my alarm didn't play and only vibrated.

View 18 Replies View RelatedI bought a Nokia E7 yesterday. My previous phone for E61i. I see that the speaker volume is too low in E7. I have set the volume to max using the volume control but still the volume is too low compared to E61i. I find it difficult to do calls with loud speaker on. I do lot of conf calls and this is very important for me.
I did few video recordings and found that the sound output is sort of metallic.
Nokia 603 : Speaker loudness, is it 106 'Phons' like in Nokia 600 ? is it stereo speaker ? Does it have USB OTG (usb on the go) ? also tell which is good TFT-LCD ClearBlack display with IPS technology 160° viewing angle, 1000 nits brightness Or N8's OLED ???

can replace my speaker with an upgraded speaker?
View 2 Replies View RelatedI have had a white Z5 Compact for a week and have now noticed that the bottom speaker is much louder than the top, ruining the stereo effect. I am sure it did not come this way out of the box. I didn't notice until after the recent firmware update (32.0.A.6.152), but cannot know whether this is the cause of the problem. I went through the hassle of factory reset and the phone still has the problem. I haven't subjected the phone to any physical trauma at all and will be returning it.Â

I recently purchased an HTC M9+ for my dad. This is the first HTC device in my family. The device looks good, in terms of design, premium material and overall look and feel. Its just one day, therefore too early to give feedback, although the camera and its features are amazing.
The only issue that I am facing is its boom sound speakers. The sound is very low. HTC M8 & 9 and famous for its boom sound dual speakers, therefore I presume, it should be loud. But in this case the speaker sound its crap. Whether I set mp3 as a ringtone, play mp3 in the music player or play youtube. Its not even closer to my Lumia 930 and my mom's Galaxy S6 edge's mono speakers. I expect these stereo speakers to complete outperform the mono speaker of Lumia and Galaxy smartphone
How can I enhance the sound? I have checked, everything in the settings?
Apart from the GPS giving inaccurate results and no sound through the speaker a rather odd problem has raised it's head.
When I download an app from Google Store or use one of the built in apps and I start to use the app apart from no sound the phone will switch off and restart, however if I plug in the headphones the app will work fine and with sound through the headphones ! except GPS apps.
My one month old xperia has a problem, sound volume of bottom speaker is much lower then speaker on the top. Actually i don't remember if it was like that always or happened during my usage. It's so quiet that I need to apply it close to the ear to hear it as much as top speaker.

View 4 Replies View RelatedI've made and received several calls with my new iPhone 4 since getting it yesterday morning, however I was using my headset. Now, just this evening I got two calls when I didn't have my headset on and both times I had bad sound quality from the phone itself. It was muffled, almost like a thin sheet was over the speaker and vibrating against it. Has anyone else experienced this issue?
View 9 Replies View Relatedi've been using my iphone 4s for 3 months now and i don't have any problem in these 3 months. now the headset speaker is very low, whenever i spoke to somebody i turned on the loudspeaker, sound is there but it's too low, this happens after upgrading to a new software IOS 5.1.!

I recently downloaded the update for the new software and all was well then suddenly my speaker phone stopped working. As well as my speaker phone the audio output of the speaker itself does not put out any noise. I checked the silent mode switch on the side of the phone as well as the sound settings and all looks as it did when things were working.

View 2 Replies View Relatedmine was not a firmware or software mine was simply the earpiece clogged up with dirt & grease.there is a fine wire gauze and it clogs up.it almost totally deadened the sound in a call.remove the front cover using a cheap hex screw remover tool.watch this useful Internet video for help. url...without any electronics attached to the front cover rinse it in a bleach/ hot water solution & soaked for 30min. to dissolve the grease.low pressure compressed air through the back holes helps to finish cleaning out the greasy dirt.rinse in clean water and dry totally before reassembly.my phone has now returned to original perfect volume. phone has been to nokia and returned not fixed so did it myself.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI have an iPhone 5 16gb with iOS 8.1.1 that I used last night with my LuguLake Portable Bluetooth Speaker to listen to music. I've used this particular bluetooth speaker for about 3 months.Â
I turned the bluetooth speaker off, like I always do, but the sound did not return to my phone. It has not made any sound since last night before I used it with the speaker.Â
I tried restarting the phone twice, using it with the bluetooth speaker again (works fine), tried it with headphones (works fine), but otherwise it acts like the mute switch is on - and its not. I've even tried restoring the phone and it didn't make any noise, so I restored my backup, still no noise... What do I do?!!!!!Â
I have an otterbox case on my phone and do not recall dropping it recently. I never use the headphone port so it's not dirty but I cleaned it with a q-tip just for good measure. I don't know what else to try.Â
It seems like the phone won't disconnect from the bluetooth speaker even with bluetooth off.Â

What should I do when my speaker (iphone 4s) emits no sound? When I play a song, the volume changer (+ & -) is not below. And when I click the + & - volume (on the left side of the phone), there is nothing happening.

I have just upgraded to to OS 7.1 and since then only the speaker is active, i cannot use the phone nor headphones. On a call i only have the optioon to use the speaker, i cannot change back to the phone itself.
