my curve has just started clicking when recieving or making calls. The icon in the top left is flipping between headphones & normal. The store said I need to reset the factory settings which would be annoying!
One day I was listening to my music on my iPhone and the phone dropped on the carpet (nothing hard) and after that when I took my headphones out, the phone no longer works on speaker and the loud sounds dont work unless the headphones are plugged in.
´╗┐My Iphone stopped outputting sound out of its e´╗┐´╗┐cternal speakers.I can only hear music when headpones are plugged in.Essentially, the iPhone thinks the headphones are still connected and will continue to output sound only through the headphone port.I have tried to "convince" it that nothing is plugged in.It is stuck in headphone mode and nothing can be heard out the speakers.I think it might be something to do with the dock connector and the soffware telling the phone it is docked.I have tried everything.Restoring to new will not work.I did a hard reboot, I have tried resetting it ont he phone setting, did and update through iTunes, did a complete backup and restore, tried unplugging and replugging the headphone jack in and out, and the Rep at the store tired spraying compressed air into the ports and is it still stuck in Docking Station Mode with NO external audio.
I have an iHome Bluetooth speaker and I also have a new Bluetooth surround home theater. Now, I know it is a bit of a stretch asking if I can connect both Bluetooth. I would like to know if it is possible to use the headphones jack without muting it, so that I can connect it to my Bluetooth as well.
My phone was working fine until a few days ago. Now, if I try to use the phone to make a call...I hear nothing through the phone. I also cannot answer calls. the only way I can talk on the phone or answer an incoming call is if I use "Speaker" or Bluetooth as the audio source.
This has happened once or twice before, now it has happened three times in a week. If I try to make or answer a call the Speaker button illuminates and I can't hear anything nor can anyone on the other end.
I have an Otter Box case with the hard case inside the protective rubber. I took it to Verizon and they cleaned it good a week ago. They also showed me the way to delete the background things that are running.
Today I checked the volume setting to ensure it didn't say Earphones or whatever it says. It just says Ringer. I have to do the bigger reboot (both buttons) to make it work again.
On my lg g3 When I call people with my head phones in the other person can't hear me until I take them out.it worked on my previous lg phone and they're both running kit kat.my headphones work fine and they'res no mic on it.does my phone think there is?
Since I got my Z2 earlier this year I haven't been overly impressed with the speak phone cababilities of the phone.    For a couple of months now I have noticed the bottom speaker is noticeably louder than the top one. At first I thought this may be normal but now I don't think it is.
Occasionally the person on the other end of the line can't hear me - unless I can turn the speaker phone on in time. I have tried rebooting. My software is up to date. And I have tried with bluetooth off. It still happens sometimes - but not all the time.
