IPhone :: Why Won't My 4s Come Out Of 'headphone' Mode When There Aren't Headphones Connected
May 14, 2012
i have no headphones connected but my iphone will not play music through the speakers but it says it is 'headphones' mode. Although i have received calls with sound the speaker does work...
So my iphone 4 is stuck in headphones mode. Can of compressed air works like a charm! But get this: Whenever I blow into the headphone jack, it goes straight back into headphones mode. Any idea?
When I Plug my Headphones into my Iphone the left one doesnt Work, but the right one does. But then i plug them into my ipad and they both work.. What is going on. My IPhone is still Under warranty if that is needed to know. What do i Do.
My iphone 4 is in headphone mode. I did not make this change. I have turned my phone on and off several times, I have inserted headphones into the jack several times and I blew compressed air into the jack.
I Was trying to play music on the speaker and it says it's in headphone mode. I haven't used any headphones in awhile. how I need to know how to get it off headphone mode?
my iphone 4 still thinks my headphones are still connected, ive tried blowing it out and sucking on the jack nand taking it out and putting it back in many time and it still wont work
My daughter's iphone 4 is stuck in headphone mode. we can hear her ringtone, but her text tone, email tone, any alert tone is unable to be heard. I have plugged in the headphones and taken them out several times and i've also blown into where the headphones go and it hasn't fixed the problem so I tried rebooting it twice and still can't get it to get out of the headphone mode
So recently my phone has been stuck on headphone mode. I use the Nike running App and had headphones in during a run. After I was done and took them out the phone stayed on headphone mode.
I have did the holding down the home and power button a few times but no luck. I have tried to clean out the headphone jack with can air to try to get any debris out and the headphone mode will come off for a few minutes but later will switch right back to it. The sound works fine when then phone is on speaker phone or headphones are in but it will not allow me to have a normal phone convo by listening normally.
I have also taken the phone to the apple store where the genius guy said I have water damage and I need to buy a new phone for 200 bucks. I refused to believe this however as my phone hasnt been exposed to water in the least bit so I dont see how that would even be possible.
Yesterday night after updating to iOS 8.1.2 my iPhone 6 has been stuck in headphone mode even though I didn't connect them. I can't hear incoming or outgoing calls.
My ringer is stuck on headphone mode and I cannot hear when it rings. My headphones are not connected and I cannot get phone to return to normal ringer. What setting do I change to fix?
I have an iPhone4. I recently noticed the when I connect the headphones to listen to music, I can hear only from the right side headphone. I assumed that I had damaged the left headphone and got a brand new set to find out that it is the iphone that is faulty and not the headphones.
When in phone mode with headphones plugged into the phone, the volume control no longer works. Neither the buttons on the phone nor the volume control on the headset. Tried 2 other headsets without success. When I unplug the headphones the volume control works again.Â
The phone has the latest iOS version 7.1.2. It is just a few weeks old. Â
Yerterday, I had my HTC One connected to my car charger, and connected the phone to aux in (headphone jack). Suddenly the music stop playing and I saw the screen of my phone flicker twice. After that, I realized that the charger had gone bad (probably burned), and from that moment on, whenever I put on a headphone music doesn't play.
The phone recognizes that the headphone is connected because the headphone icon appear, but no sound comes out!! I tried it with Beats on and off and no sound comes out off it, but they work perfectly normal through speaker.
Got the S5 back in March about a week ago my phone went into headphone mode. I've tried all the tips and tricks to resolve it. All except factory resetting and resetting my phone would be my last option. Did the cotton swab, paperclip, inserting headphones in and out repeatedly, restarting, taking battery out, switching to mono and then switching it out.
I have a question I want to know if it is normal that when I have connected the headphones listening to music incoming calls can be heard on the speaker and headphones but the sound is low ...
I've only had this phone for a couple of weeks and thought I'd give the radio a go but it comes up saying 'Please connect the headphones or handsfree. They work as the radio antenna.'. I am using the headphones that came with the phone.
I'm planning to pick up a S6 next week but I have one quick question. I have used Samsung devices in the past and if I had my headphones connected and I paired my device with my car or Bluetooth speakers the audio would continue to play through the headphones and I would have to disconnect them before audio would play via the Bluetooth device.
I have a set of Jaybird JF3 Freedom BT headphones (fantastic running headphones BTW!) - both the Motoactv manual and the device itself tell me that when the Motoactv and my BT headset are in range of each other and powered on, they will auto-connect. Of the 30+ times I've used them, this only happened once. Every other time I have to go into Settings - Wireless - BT Headsets-JF3 Freedom and hit the "Reconnect" button - then they reconnect right away. One random time, they auto-connected. I didn't do anything different than I normally do.
my blackberry wont play no sound. where the volume meter is there is a headphone icon next to it even if there aint any headphones plugged in and when i take the headphones out nothing plays and when im put them in i hear sound, sometimes though it plays den stops then plays.
I bought my Lumia 820 a few days back, and after having a few set-up quirks, things seem to be going quite well.I can only see one problem left, and that's as the When I connect the phone up to the PC (running Windows XP SP3), and having Nokia Suite 3.6.36 running, it comes up telling me that the phone is 'connected in a non-compatible USB mode', preventing me from doing anything in Nokia Suite.
I have a Nokia 6300 Rm-217 and while it was connected to the pc in data mode it shut itself down i could enter in the phones memory for 20 secs or so and then it stopped working now if i try to start it the blue lights turn on blink once and they stay on until i stop pressing the power button. Please this is urgent!
