I am having trouble with bluetooth, having followed the intructions from your site, i keep getting the same msg, paired but unable to connect. what am i doing wrong?

View 4 Replies View RelatedI have a Blackberry Curve 8900, Windows XP SP2, Desktop Manager 4.7 and a 3com PCMIA Bluetooth Card. Using the card I have successfully paired my computer with my Blackberry. All the services on the blackberry are enabled and the Bluetooth software shows that the serial port service is available using COM4. When I open Desktop Manager and open Connection Options, the 'use bluetooth' option is grayed out, so I cannot connect my Blackberry. Does anyone know what to do?
View 7 Replies View RelatedMy Xprt was able to connect to my Bluetooth (Q Ant 2) without any issue. Over the past two days it cannot connect. I have removed battery from the phone, Shutdown/rebooted, made it scan for devices, cried/screamed etc. and to no avail. I get an audio prompt from my headset that states ( "Unable to connect") On my Xprt in the Bluetooth section I get "connecting...." then it will sate "paired but unable to connect".

And one more thing: when I scan for devices, it scans and scans but will not detect/find any device.

Both devices will find each other and get as far as putting in the code to make sure they are the right device, then my computer confirms the connection and my phone shows up in Bluetooth devices, but on my phone is shows paired but not connected and there is no option to connect, only to unpair.

I turned off both devices and I turned on again, I paired again both phones but the problem persists: Razr sends files but doesn't receive them.No problem with my bluetooth headset.

But then when I tried to send again, it didn't went through.The error says "Connection failure". View 1 Replies View RelatedEvery time I unlock my Z2 and not connected to the internet, there will be this ‘Not connected to Internet’ notification appearing in the middle of my screen. And when I enable mobile data, this ‘Mobile data enabled’ notification appears. This notification appears on top of anything and it is blocking my view especially when I want to use the keyboard to type. Part of the keyboard is blocked by this notification. Even though the notification only last for about a second, it is still irritating. This notification only starts appearing 3 days ago, previously there isnt' this notification.
I would like to know how to disable this notification.
I have paired my Experia Mini Pro to my Toshiba PC running Vista without any trouble but it will not connect. When I open the Toshiba Bluetooth Wizard it finds the phone but then goes to a file transfer interface which I do not want to use.

I have to manually open a browser and navigate to a page on internet to re-enable the WiFi connection.It is as if the connection times out.This causes the RoadSync email client to stop checking for emails and also stops the TuneIn radio application from playing the radio station it was playing.

Even sitting with the livebox on my lap the phone connects and disconnects a few seconds later. This means I am using the 2+3G connection at home.....using valuable 'Fair Use' megs up.

View 3 Replies View RelatedI have bought a X10 mini pro on ebay and replaced the 2GB card by a 16GB sdhc. I copied the contents of the former onto the latter via my PC.Since I did that, the phone starts to play one of the mp3 tracks I copied to it (always the same) as soon as I connect the USB cable, regardless whether it's for synchronising or charging.The song is not played by the audio player app - if I start a track there, then I here both at the same time. Killing all processes doesn't stop it either.The only way is to switch off the phone. Switching it on again doesn't restart the music, unless the cable is removed and plugged in again.Obviously this is more of an oddity than a problem, but it is somewhat annoying, especially since I usually intend to fill the battery when connecting the phone, not drain it with a song on its lips.

View 3 Replies View RelatedIf you have a Defect Tracking System, I can seriously take up the job of Ad-Hoc tester.The first time I tried the Backup, I was connected to PC companion ( I was going to perform a repair, I wanted to back up first)Turns out that Backup doesn't see the memory card if the phone is connected through USB.
1- It should at least improve the error message and indicate that Backup operation can't be performed while connected via USB.
2- Why can't it perform the backup while connected via USB in the first place? In fact it would be great to allow the back up to store the data in a directory in the PC via PC COMPANION.
I was excited when I found out that si number 1248-9444 is already avilable for update but when I tried connecting my phone to Sony PC Companion or SEUS it says that "Your phone is up to date". My xperia mini is still in .62. ICS is still not available for my phone even when the SI number is already posted.

Now I just added a new tone that I downloaded, and I put it onto my phone. I set that new one as my CURRENT tone, but when people txt me, the tone is STILL the same as the one I set before... View 9 Replies View RelatedXperia Mini Pro (SK17i); I upgrade to ICS (4.0.4), Build Number: 4.1.B.0.431. After that Notification LED is not working for MISSED call, SMS Alert etc. when screen is OFF. However, it is working for Charging and E-mail (using K9). Checked in Service Menu and all the LED are working fine.
All the LEDs were working when using Gingerbread (2.3). Only after upgrading to ICS it is not working. Is this an issue with ICS?
