My iphone 4 recieved water damage a couple days ago. After days of leaving it in rice the phone works perfectly but it won't stay on. It shuts off and reatarts every ten minutes or so.

My xperia z3 shuts down after using it for 2 or 3 minutes, then it starts to restart, without any pressing on the power button. it becomes very warm after 10 minutes. i can just break through the circle Holding the power button and the 'louder' button for a few seconds, until it vibrates 3 times. in the morning it worked normally, middays the problem was there.. what can i do?

If I connect it to the charging cable, it will be able to boot up... but after approx. 3 minutes, the screens FADES off and then the phone reboots.

Partially off topic but my DroidX is similar. Most of the time when I shut it down it looks like it shuts off for a few minutes then restarts on its own. If I shut it down again quickly it stays off the second time. I know not a Xoom but both Motorola Android ... makes me wonder. Seemed to start after leaked GB upgrade. Stock GB now and still does auto-restarts
View 4 Replies View RelatedI'm trying to see if anyone else is having this issue. My Wifi Xoom will not stay powered off. I tell Android to shut down and it does, but then immediately powers back on. Has anyone seen this before? I have sent the device back to repair 2 times now and I get it back and it is fixed for a day or two and then starts rebooting itself again! (Note: I'm not talking about random reboots, just when I try to turn it off. I need to turn it all the way off so I can save battery, can't charge every day).

bought a ray acouple of days ago, updated the phone through the pc companion. the phone then started to shut its self down and restart when in an area of low signal. if i bring the phone back into an area with better coverage there is no problem.

View 3 Replies View RelatedI recently upgraded my OS on my curve 8520 and now i hear static when talking with someone for a few minutes and thte screen goes white. I have to take out the battery and plug it in to turn it back on or it stays stuck on the white screen and is non-responsive. I like the new features on the upgrade but I think it is what is draining my battery not even sure if it is the battery. I used to hear beeps when the batter would die and the battery indicator would start to show in red. Since the upgrade again I hear static and the phone goes white. What can I do to fix this. I can't operate like this it is dangerous and I travel alot.

I don't know if it's coincidence or not, but I tried changing the lock code so I could lock my phone, and right as I entered the default 12345 and then it asked me for a new code, I put in the new code and it restarted. I figured it was just the phone updating itself. Then, the phone began restarting randomly, and sometimes it restarts multiple times before it stays put for an hour or two... Only to start the process all over again.When it restarts, the Nokia logo doesn't have the holding-hands thing. The screen turns white, sometimes the Nokia in blue letters appears, but never the hand-holding.I know some people have had this problem with the E5-00 and I'm wondering what I can do. I tried updating the software - twice - and no dice.

If I set the screen timout to never timeout, the music player keeps playing. Is this a problem with all Atrix's or just mine? Also, while I have your ear, how do I actually SHUT THE MUSIC PLAYER? I don't mean just pause the music, I mean the off button?

With the iPhone unlocked, I was using a Meteor sim. Then I changed to an O2 sim. Immediately as I put in the O2 sim, the iPhone locked back up again and required reconnecting to iTunes to unlock again.2. A while later I wanted to use the internet. I work in a place where there is zero AT&T reception, but WiFi coverage in 100% of the area. I just read that iOS4 will allow WiFi to stay connected even when the device is in standby,, IS THIS TRUE?!And if so, could I just get a skype landline number, stay connected to WiFi, and use my iPhone 4 at work through Skype?

m y phone doesn't stay connected to the sprint 3g network in a well covered 3g area. and nomatter where i am, if it does connect to 3g, it's extremely slow. i took it to the apple store, and they reinstalled the firmware and os. i also did a sprint service update, but it still didn't work. most times it takes 20 mins to dl an app, and up to 10 mins to load a 1 min video on Internet... i know the sprint service is a little slower than the at&t i'm used to, but this can't be right...
