This problem just started of recent, my device no longer stay on 3G for 5 minutes, it automatically switches to EDGE, I have contact my service provider but the step they gave to me aren't working @ all, what to do in order to have 3G stay permanent on my curve 9300 series device...

My iPhone will not stay on longer than a few minutes unless it's plugged into the charger. Does this mean it needs a new battery?

My clock feature used to automatically switch on when I plugged in my BB at night.The alarm clock function would stay in night mode all night so I could periodically check the time without pressing any button.After the upgrade the phone no longer switches into clock mode when I plug even though the clock setting is set to "display clock".If I go to the menu and press on the clock, the time shows and alarm is set and continues to function as an alarm. However, the screen blacks out so I am unable to see what time it is.Needless to say I have tried every setting I can think of including rebooting.I am considering a wipe but I am not sure if that will work either.Any know issues with the alarm clock with this upgrade?
View 9 Replies View RelatedMy curve is nearly 2 years old so my warranty is over. I replaced the battery 4 months ago b/c my phone wouldn't stay charged for even 1 day. Virgin said they could do nothing for me so I went ahead and just bought a new battery. The same problem has arose but its getting worse each day. The battery symbol shows its at about 80%, I will send one bbm and it will shut off (and not turn back on) until I plug it in. When I do so the battery is at about 20%. I don't even use my phone all day!

View 1 Replies View RelatedI got my Curve 9330 in Oct 2010, it started freezing about 4 months ago, once every few weeks, over time it has gotten worse, so now it freezes every few minutes. Some freezes are "screen shots" where the time is off by a few minutes like its been frozen about 7 or 8 min and the cursor won't move, and some are freezes with the timer like its waiting on something. It takes me about 30 min to do something (text, email, facebook, anything) that should be a quick 2-3 min check. I have taken the battery out and that works for about an hour, then it goes back to freezing. I have done shift+alt+del to reset and that works for about an hour. I updated my OS, it stopped for about 3 or 4 days then started back up. I have checked to Application free space, there's 158.6MB. I do use my phone a lot, mostly quick check of things throughout the day.

Without any warning the screen goes blank, but when I look closely there is a broad darker band running down the whole length of the screen. I am only able to take a maximum of 2-3 photos and if I try to connect to the web 3 minutes usage time is the maximum. I then connect the phone (if I am able) to a power supply and after the apple logo appears, it is followed by a battery symbol showing almost zero power. This is shortly followed by the audible sound that the phone makes as it picks up the power and the battery symnbol immediately reverts back to the status it was before the 'shutdown', this morning it was 83%. Also when i switch on the phone, the battery symbolin the top right hand corner is not green, it is white. I have taken the phone back to a brand-new phone & shut down location services, push notifications, backlight etc...but this awful situation continues!!
As my phone is not on contract and is nearly 2 and a half years old I feel that Apple have me by the proverbial 'short and curlies'. My iPhone is used on a daily basis and I must admit that I am lost without the reliabilty of it's functions. I also feel that for the cost of the phone, the battery should surely have a longer life!
I would be willing to have the battery renewed if I thought that it was failing, but is it, or habe Apple dropped a clanger and it is a software fault that they are unwillinmg to disclose, due to the backlash from it's customer base and the possible loss of future sales. As I was in the market for a desktop this summer, that is a substansial lossin sales from this one customer alone!

I use Nokia N72-5 hanset but now it is problem to me to operate with it. It became switched off after turning on. I removed memory card , and turn on but it switched off after 15-16 minutes. i reset its firmware bu dialing *#7370# but it didn't help. It became switched off after 15-16 minutes even withouting pressing any key on keypad.

The camera screen appears, and at the top of the camera screen is the settings gearwheel icon along with Auto, Off, HDR On and Effect.But, when tapping the settings gearwheel icon the Camera Settings menu appears for a fraction of a second before the screen reverts. Last night I bluetooth 25 songs to my phone. I don't have videos and 8 photos on my phone. I also don't have other unnecessary applications. I have noticed this phone goes between 3G and EDGE. When its on EDGE then I can put the phone away then I can't do anything.why when I download some "free" applications, like world radio, and when I use it, I get charged. My service provider can't figure this out as it's a BB application. if I audio stream a local radio station [URL] then I experience constant buffering. As per the radio host, I'm the only one that experience this. What can I do?
