View 1 RepliesMy blackberry has been doing great for a year, but 2 weeks, I would fully charge it all night, and then it would shut off after about 2 hours, even if I didn't use it and I would have to put it in the charger for it to work again. Now, it's shutting off after Fifteen Minutes of using it, and when I put it in the charger and it goes through the whole 3 minute restart, the battery says it's full, and again keeps closing after 15 minutes. I haven't download any new apps or anything.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI got my Curve 9330 in Oct 2010, it started freezing about 4 months ago, once every few weeks, over time it has gotten worse, so now it freezes every few minutes. Some freezes are "screen shots" where the time is off by a few minutes like its been frozen about 7 or 8 min and the cursor won't move, and some are freezes with the timer like its waiting on something. It takes me about 30 min to do something (text, email, facebook, anything) that should be a quick 2-3 min check. I have taken the battery out and that works for about an hour, then it goes back to freezing. I have done shift+alt+del to reset and that works for about an hour. I updated my OS, it stopped for about 3 or 4 days then started back up. I have checked to Application free space, there's 158.6MB. I do use my phone a lot, mostly quick check of things throughout the day.

View 1 Replies View Relatedive 'owned' my blackberry for about 2 months, however i have only had in my possession for about a week as there have been constant problems with it.
originally i sent it in for repair due to the tracker pad having a mind of its own, however now its been sent back again due to the battery. it works for about 2 hours whenever I receive it back from the carrier, but after that it will continue to turn itself off and restart itself.
I'm really sick of sending it back and getting it back with the same problem, as obviously some carriers cannot be bothered to actually fix the problem, and so i was just wondering if anyone had come across the same sort of problem, and has any idea what i should do.
Well my bb curve 9300 keeps turning off and heating up and I've had it since July 2011 and it runs out of battery every hour and the Bluetooth is off and so is the wifi
View 1 Replies View RelatedI have my Xperia Ray updated to 4.1.B.0.431 just after I bought it, it was working fine at first. However, not knowing when did the problem start, the screen occasionally turns on and off automatically as if I press the power button. The screen turns on and off for exactly 5 times every time and this repeats for like every 10mins. The problem will solve if I restart my phone but the problem comes again whenever it likes. Could this related to any apps (task killer, etc...) I have installed? Or some bugs or something in the system? This could seriously drain my battery flat if the problem left not noticed.
View 2 Replies View RelatedLast week my iPhone froze and then it turned back on after 10 minutes, then the next day in school it just froze on the apple start up logo and it was getting really warm it turned off later because it ran out of battery. When I got home I charged it and it did the same all over again, and it still does it now, so I connected it to iTunes and tried to restore it but it says there's an error.

View 11 Replies View Relatedtried soft and hard resets [left the battery out for 10 seconds] when i put the battery in the red LED light comes on i have tried pressing the on button whilst this light is on but no response. I tried leaving it without pressing the button for a few minutes but that did not work either.
I also tried the shf +caps +del [holding them down all at once] but this failed to work aswell.

View 14 Replies View RelatedMy phone ran out of battery completely, and turned off, like normal. However, when I plugged it into my 240v wall charger, it came up with a battery symbol and a red cross over the top, something i have never seen before. I have taken the battery out and out it back in many times now and no luck. The LED turns red for a few seconds upon inserting the charger, but goes off and will not allow me to turn the phone on as usual.I have looked at my battery and next to the gold contact plates, is a little white strip, its turned partially red. I heard somewhere that the batterys have a device to notify you if the battery has become wet.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI recently purchased my first ever Blackberry and I'm currently impressed and have some questions through
I've had a look round and managed to find a lot of what I've need from these forums already so I'm very thankful to everyone who's already replied to other queries as it's helped me.However I have a question that still remains unanswered.
I bought the phone with no data plan and I've looked around and have seen that to browse via wifi I have to set my browser to hotspot mode.I can browse on the mobile network but as pay as you go and this is expensive so I want to prevent it from happening. I've already incurred a few fees according to my online bill by trying to browse the wifi before I found hotspot mode.
I've found the data services entry. If I turn this off, will my phone still function as normal? (make calls, receive texts and receive picture messages?) - if it prevents my phone from accidentally connecting, that would be exactly what I need! However if it prevents this, I guess it's a useless option!
i cannot edit my phone book contacts (add new contacts or edit a number) on my curve 9300, an error message appears: uncaught exception: Application net_rim_bb_addressbook_app(256) is not responding; process terminated,

I have a BB 9300 Curve. I have both personal and email account on BB. Is there convenient way to not receieve my work emails when I am in my office so that I am not getting them on my PC and the BB? I was hoping for basically an on/off switch for the email account that can be used when at my office.
View 3 Replies View RelatedI bought my first BlackBerry (Curve 3G 9300) on Friday and tried to setup a personal email account on the phone via the setup wizard earlier today. The phone said that an update to 6.11...... was needed in order to do this. I let it update, now the phone is just hanging after starting up. If I do a start up after removing the battery it comes up with a black screen with the BlackBerry logo and a progress bar below it. The progress bar moves along until the end, this takes around a minute. It then shows something like a little clock over the logo for about a second. Once this disappears the phone says with the logo and the completed progress bar - and just hangs there.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI purchased an HTC One M8 (HK edition) at the end of Sept so I've had less than two months. This past weekend it started rebooting itself approximately every 5 minutes. It only does this when it is using battery power, if it is plugged in and charging it is fine. Sprint did a factory reset in the store and HTC walked me through one via live chat and I'm still having the problem. The fact that it doesn't do it when it is plugged in makes me wonder if it is a battery problem.
