Aug 12, 2010I recently got my ip4 and loving most of it but...Is there any way to get a longer auto lock than 5 mins?
I'd prefer 10, 15, 30 mins.
I use a 6 character alphanumeric passcode which is a real pain to have to keep putting in so often.
Dont want to set it it to never in case I forget to lock it then lose it!
Too much confidential info on it to risk leaving it unprotected.

HTC One M9 :: Android Auto Crashes Every 10-15 Minutes
May 30, 2015I have to either unplug it and plug it back in, restart my trip, or if I'm lucky, just hit the home button on my HU and click back on the app. But I still have to restart my trip.
This happens every single time every 10-15 minutes. Very annoying. I have uninstalled the app and redownloaded it. Still the same thing.

Dec 2, 2015So I've been having this problem since yesterday where the screen is locked and my phone is charging and every two minutes the screen will light up and vibrate once. I thought maybe it was because I had a notification but I checked all of my apps and none of them have any Notifications. I have restarted the device twice and it hasn't changed anything. The same thing also happens when my phone isn't charging. any way besides doing a factory restore?

Aug 5, 2010iPhone 4 on 4.0.1 jailbroken. I have Auto-Lock set to 1 minute and tried to change to Never since I was going to use cyberduck and didn't want to keep waking up the phone. Well the phone went to sleep after one minute and when I went into settings again to check it wouldn't load the page. Had to respring the phone and setting was back to normal except Auto-Lock was set back to 1 minute. I tried againg with same consequences.
BTW, i just updated to MobileSubstrate 0.9.3228-1 check to see if they can change their Auto-lock time on their iPhone 4.

IPhone :: 4 Has Collapsed Lock Button And Wifi No Longer Working?
May 11, 2012Recently my iPhone 4's lock button collapsed and it is now longer functioning. In reaction to this I visited the Genius Bar and they informed me that it could not be repaired and that I was required, due to my warranty being up, to pay £120 for a replacement. This was as much as I expected at the time. However, shortly afterwards the wifi connection stopped working and my iPhone can no longer sustain connection outwith 2m from the router.
I then phoned my insurance company with this problem, and they informed me that I willbe unable to claim for a replacement as it is a manufacturing defect and not damage. Despite my warranty being up, is there any grounds for argument that such a hardware defect, outside of my control, is reason to claim for a free or reduced price replacement from Apple? I am unsure where I stand. I have had this phone since May 2011 and it seems ridiculous that a phone that comes with a 2 month contract cannot last, without accident, for the same duration.

Now every time the Activesync Policy is loaded we get the message "lock Code set to 20 minutes" although in the Activesync Policy it is set to 30 minutes. With the Firmware 54.005 we used the same Activesync Policy and this did not happen.

Apr 24, 2011The camera on my Droid 2 doesn't autofocus anymore. For the first couple months, I was taking crystal clear pictures without any problems, then one day the camera refused to autofocus and now all my pictures turn out blurry. I can say without a doubt that the lens does not need cleaning because if I take an extreme closeup (just a few inches from the subject) the pictures are clear. Any further than a few inches, the pics come out blurry. Holding the shutter button down a little only causes a red box to come up, not green. Using the touch screen shutter button doesn't make a difference. I tried factory resetting my phone and this didn't solve the issue.

Jun 3, 2011Since I did the current update I'm no longer getting my Yahoo (which is my primary account) email notifications (I was before the update). If I go in to check email I have messages. My Comcast accounts works fine. Background data is enabled.
Under "email settings" I have "Data Push" selected ( I even tried it with it unselected). I have fetch schedule "every 15 minutes" checked. I did notice that when I go into "Folder Sync" All the folders say "manual". I've also tried several battery pulls. If I go and open the email apps it does download the emails.

Jul 29, 2014I've had my HTC one m8 for a month or so now, everything has been great till now, my phone won't auto lock. When there's a pop up notification from WhatsApp, the screen will remain lighted till I manually press the lock button. If I leave it on after surfing the net or doing anything else, it won't auto lock either.
I've tried setting the auto lock timer to screen timeout from 15 seconds to 2 minutes. All that seems to do is to dictate the time the screen takes to dim. But it never locks.
I've been googling ard and it doesn't seem like this is a common problem. I suspect it has to do with exposing my phone to a magnet.

Apr 9, 2010One of the best features with my BB is the auto lock (an app I downloaded). It would basically put it in standby mode after a few seconds of inactivity. This was key because it prevented it from going off in my pocket.
With the new OS, the app doesn't work. I know there is a similar function with the new OS, but it requires a 4-digit (?) password as opposed to a quick 2-button key press to unlock.
Any ideas on how to get this back?
