I want the display to stay on while connected to my 12VDC charger while in the car. I don't have an official Moto car dock. I have tried using Smart Actions but the only options seem to be changing the screen timeout option to a maximum of staying on for 10 minutes. I've tired many variations using Tasker and still no joy.
I just picked up the iPhone 3gs on Monday and have two questions that. Forgot to find out before I got the phone. I bought a white iPhone 3gs and wanted to know is the phone still plagued with overheating and discoloration problems? Second question I am wondering if I buy a mophie juice pack air a coupple of months would that negatively affect my battery on the iPhone. What I mean by this is I heard that aged four hundred complete charges and draining of the iPhone battery the phones battery only holds 80% of the charge it use to. My question is does using a charger help increase time it takes the iphont to reach 400 chargeres quicker than it would if I did not use the charger?
So I bought a barely used LG Voyager off of Craigslist not even 2 weeks ago. It is in almost perfect condition. I didn't charge my phone all this weekend but when I got home and charged it the charger was making a funny noise so I tried the other charger and same thing.. So I have to bend the cord a certain way for it to charge.. it sucks! If I keep doing it like that eventually the port will break more or the charger will snap.. Anyway, the easiest solution to my problem is to buy a standalone battery charger.. I looked on eBay and stuff but I can't seem to find one for the LG Voyager.
I have had this phone for a while now, and not had many probs with it.this weekend, I found that every time I pluged the charger into the phone, the phone displayed the message - "Charger not supported".I tried another charger I have for it, and it said the same thing aswell. The phone is now nearly flat.... Can anyone help me please?
The Mogul USED to charge with the car charger, then one day, just stopped working. It still gets charged by using the wall outlet charger.I tried in another car thinking it may be my car - no dice.I bought another charger off ebay thinking it was the charger, and that one does not work either.I then had my buddy who also has a mogul try the car chargers, and both chargers charge his phone fine. I think the only thing I did not try is to put his battery in my phone, and see if it charges my phone. I'm guessing though somehow it's the connector? But why would the wall plug work?My buddy's on his way over now - I'll test it with his battery. If it's still not charging I have no idea what to do. Could it be software related? Something I recently installed? It seems more hardware related to me..
I have an iPhone 2G (first iPhone) that was bought in 2007 locked to AT&T. I've recently had it unlocked by AT&T through iTunes. The problem is, it doesn't stay unlocked.1. With the iPhone unlocked, I was using a Meteor sim. Then I changed to an O2 sim. Immediately as I put in the O2 sim, the iPhone locked back up again and required reconnecting to iTunes to unlock again.2. A while later I wanted to use the internet. I went to settings and saw that wifi was off. So I turned it on. The iPhone immediately locked itself back up again, requiring it be reconnected to iTunes to unlock again.
On Saturday I dropped my iPhone 3GS in water. I kept it in rice until yesterday (Monday) and it started working again. The only problem is that it will not hold a charge. When charging, it takes 3-5 minutes for the battery to go up one percent. It also dies very fast. I had 100% battery and thirty minutes later I looked down and it was it 30%.
Was wondering if anyone could help me out. I need an AC adaptor for HTC Wizard, though other model chargers still work, but for some reason i cant even charge my Wizard through my computer or through an ipod wall charger (usb). It seems to need a 5.5v in order to start back up my battery.Anyone know where i can purchase an HTC charger? I do not have a credit card so getting one online is not an option for me.
In Oct. I j/b my 3G w/ Blackra1n rc1 and it's cool. My iPhone's been crazy lately, so I restored it (3.1.2) and figured I'd re-j/b it tomorrow or something.Weird thing is my battery percentage still shows up. I know that it's a setting on a regular (non-j/b) 3GS, but I know it's not an option for the 3G.
I work in a place where there is zero AT&T reception, but WiFi coverage in 100% of the area. I just read that iOS4 will allow WiFi to stay connected even when the device is in standby,, IS THIS TRUE?!And if so, could I just get a skype landline number, stay connected to WiFi, and use my iPhone 4 at work through Skype?
i have a jailbroken 1.1.2 iphone, for my hacking needs i use independence cuz im on a mac and thats about it, if i upgrade to 7.6 will i be limited with my hacking or it'll be the same as if i had itunes 7.5? does 7.6 force me to update to 1.1.3 or anything?
Is there any way to setup Goggle Maps so your location (purple ball) stays in the center of the map as your drive (i.e. the map automatically scrolls)? It is a pain to keep hitting the button to center the map on your location (and a driving danger fumbling with the iphone all the time).
Anyone else have issues with PdaNet not staying connected via USB? I have the latest registered PdaNet 1.53 and have set the desktop program to auto connect. Once I plug the phone in via the USB cable it connects fine but then drops the connection about 10 seconds later.
m y phone doesn't stay connected to the sprint 3g network in a well covered 3g area. and nomatter where i am, if it does connect to 3g, it's extremely slow. i took it to the apple store, and they reinstalled the firmware and os. i also did a sprint service update, but it still didn't work. most times it takes 20 mins to dl an app, and up to 10 mins to load a 1 min video on Internet... i know the sprint service is a little slower than the at&t i'm used to, but this can't be right...
Location services suddenly only works when apps like Maps are used - Otherwise the icon disappears from menu bar. Find my iPhone in iCloud sees the device as 'off'. Have rebooted iPhone4, re-inserted SIM card (which Location Services doesn't need), turned it on and off several times.
Upgraded to iOS 5.1.1 on my Verizon iPhone 4s and am now having trouble connecting (and staying connected) to WiFi via a NETGEAR router. My wife's iPhone 4 and iPad (newest model) do not have the same problem as we have not upgraded to the latest software on them.
